Chasing Time and Spells(mature)

"N-no mom he didnt get me, Yugo got him before he could..." She said and pulled her shirt back down. She sighed. She told her mother how she had been attacked, she didnt mentioned that the knife had cut her or anything, she just said the guy pinned her and as bit her neck, then she kicked him off. He got mad, came at her with a knife. "And then...well Yugo came in and um...well....I dont think the boy survived..."She mentioned quietly while looking to the side. KNowing her mom was not going to flip out that they were hiding a killer...

"Knife!" Mom freaked. She grabbed Ayane by her arms. Now she was more than worried. "You said nothing about a knife Ayane! Where did he cut you?" she panicked and immediately raised Ayane's top as she were a small child. Mom's hands started shaking. She looked up into Ayane's eyes. She still felt the cops needed to be notified. "Ayane..tell me everything." Mom frowned and crossed her arms over her chest. It was a good thing that Yugo had taken the time to heal Ayane's cuts the night before, otherwise the situation would have been ten times worse.

"M-mom no dont worry about it" She said. She grabbed the phone and hung up. "Mom, Yugo beat the crap out of the guys, And other then the hicky, no I wasnt touched, I'm fine...Yugo...was a little extreme...he um..." She wasnt sure telling the truth would be a good idea...but she couldnt tell a lie about something that big. "He...might have really hurt the one who came at m with the knife after I kicked him." She said, weary of telling her the whole truth at least

Mom cringed. Somehow, hearing that Yugo wasn't responsible didn't make her feel any better. "Honey do you remember their faces? We should call the police and file a report. As a matter of fact, I'll call them now." Mom frowned and turned to grab the phone. She had no idea that Yugo had already killed one of the guys who had attacked Ayane. The other two had gotten off lucky. As mom dialed 911(or whatever ppl in Japan dial), she turned to face Ayane. "How are you so calm? I'd be freaking out if some stranger left his lips on me. Ayane...the police...I need to know exactly what happened." She stated as she was placed on hold. "W-Were you..touched?" Mom asked, her eyes filling with a mixture of rage and disgust. She'd make sure that the thugs who attacked her daughter were punished by the law.

"I'm fine mom...I was a little shaken..but I'm fine" She said, nodded to her mothers conditions about going out at night and keeping her camping adventure from gramps. She blinked and winced as her mother pulled her ear. "O-ow mom" She winced and pulled away. She blinked rubbing her neck. "O-oh...it was probably that guy Yugo punched..." She said, not wanting her mother to know she and Yugo had kissed...and how he had nipped her. "I'll put some make up on it, no worries" She said with a light smile

"Well..you'd be right." Mom frowned as she walked up to Ayane and wrapped her arms tightly around her daughter. "Are you ok sweetie?" She asked softly and brought her hand up to gently pat Ayane's head. She pulled back some, but still had her arms around her. "You have to promise not to do something so reckless again. I know you think you can handle the world, but what if Yugo hadn't been there? What if those thugs had hurt you or worse Ayane?" Mom frowned. "From now on, if you really need to leave I'll take you myself. No more going off on your own." Mom stated, completely serious. "As for you camping with Yugo-san...well...just dont tell your grandfather and we'll leave it at that." Mom sighed. She was about to pull away, but paused when she noticed the bite mark left on the left side of Ayane's neck. "A-Ayane?" Mom blinked. Suddenly, she grabbed ayane by one of her ears and pulled her closer. "Is this...a hickey???"

Aya smacked her hand against her head. Of course mom would call the hotel. "O-okay fine...on my way to the hotel...I got cornered by some jerks...Yugo happened to be trailing me to see where I was going and saved me before anything happened. I was a little shaken...and um...well we camped outside back in the woods" She said looking down. "I'm sorry mom, I didnt want to rush home, I was afraid you wouldnt let me out of the house again if I came back crying...Yugo helped me calm down a little" She said

Yugo's eyes shifted between Ayane and the door. He took her plate. He'd be happy to eat her share. Inside, Mom was standing in the kitchen. She had just put on her cooking apron. When she heard the front door open and close, she started cracking eggs into a small bowl. "Sit." she ordered. Her shoulders were trembling, but she was trying hard to keep it together. "So..I called the hotel that you normally go to. I wanted to apologize again for Grandpa. You can imagine my surprise when I found out that you weren't there. I called every single hotel in the area. After hours...I even called the police, but they said I couldn't file a missing persons report unless you had been gone for 48 hours." Mom whispered. Suddenly, she stopped and placed the shells of the cracked eggs into the trash. She turned around, her eyes holding a mixture of hurt, worry, and anger within them. "So, where were you all night? Oh, and you should know that I heard the shower up stairs running. You just got in..didn't you?"

"Your terrible, apease your appitite or You'll feed me to the demons?" She said and lightly nudged him. She blinked as her mom demanded her inside. She glanced at Yugo before slowly getting up handing him her plate. "You can finish mine, just leave the plate's here and I'll grab them when I'm done" She said. She walked inside and shut the door.

Yugo was licking the syrup off his fingers. He tongue rolled slowly from finger to finger until they were clean. "Mm its good." Yugo smiled. He might have had a habit of being rude, but he could never insult good cooking. "You should make these for me more often..especially since I'm all thats standing in the way of you becoming demon chow." Yugo grinned. Suddenly, his ears twitched. Yugo looked back just in time to see Mom leaning against the door frame. Her eyes were a 100% focused on Ayane. "Young lady, come inside when you're done." she stated and turned from the door once she was done. Her voice had carried a certain level of base to it, meaning that Ayane was in trouble, big trouble.

"W-wait...heh, your going to get all sticky" She chuckled as she watched him eat. She offered him her bacon as she focused more on the pancakes. "I take it you liked them?" She asked with a smile. Part of her thought he was going to say something rude about her cooking

Yugo sat down next to her. He picked up one of the pancakes with his bare hands. He sniffed the syrup and watched as it drizzled down his fingers. "Smells...like wood..well almost." Yugo whispered. He took a bite into the pancake and his golden eyes shot wide open! They were good, really good. He quickly finished off his first pancake then turned to do the same with the bacon. It might have looked a little...odd...for Yugo to be using his claws to eat, but it was natural for him.

Aya walked up and watched as he inspected the bacon. She smiled. "Your right, it is pork. It's called bacon" She said. And these are pancakes, the goey stuff on top is syrup" She said as she walked over to the statue he had been leaning on and sat down by it, taking a bite of her pancakes

Yugo's ears twitched. He looked back, seeing the door open. He recognized the eggs, but wasn't sure what the strips or large flat circles were. His nose told him that they'd be good tho. The wolf licked his lips. His golden hues locked onto his plate as he stepped forward. "What are these?" he asked and picked up one of the bacon strips from his plate. He sniffed it and then licked it. "Smells..kinda like pork..mm..taste like it too." he smiled widely.

Ayane finished showering. She grabbed the clothes after wrapping a towel around herself and headed for the guest room. She closed the door and changed into something simple while she fixed her hair and put on a little make up around her blue eyes to make them stand out more. She didnt have any of her perfume now so she couldnt wear any. Oh well. She walked into the kitchen, the sun had just come up an hour ago...her family was still asleep, so for now she'd just make something for herself and Yugo. She whipped up some pancakes, eggs and bacon, getting two plates and walked outside. She was surprised to see him waiting outside in sight. "Got your breakfast" She said with a smile

Yugo nodded and jumped down. He was a bit surprised. Last time he had threw her she called him a jerk while screaming in his face. "Well..its not like she could afford to get caught." he mumbled to himself. Yugo decided to wait next to one of the Buddha like statues that stood proudly just outside the front door. He looked back towards the old wooden door. She had mentioned breakfast right? He wondered what kind of food she would be bringing him.

"Wh-wait what are--kyaa!" She yelped as he threw her. She winced as she got up. "Shh" She hushed him. She tip toed over to the door and slowly opened it. No one seemed to be awake. "All's clear, I'll bring you out some break fast" She said as she slid through the door and shut it. She tip toed past the tape and quickly turned into the shower and shut it. She;d take a shower first, and if anyone asked, she'd claim she wanted to get ready to go see Mr. Li

Yugo looked inside. The hole wasn't 'that' wide. "Hold on." Yugo stated as he cocked the arm that was holding her back. Was this deja vu? Surely he had done something like this not too long ago. Suddenly, Yugo threw Ayane's body right through the window's opening. He watched as she cleared the hole, but crashed into few burnt pieces of wood. "Woops." Yugo blinked from outside. He looked closer, wondering if Ayane was alright. "You alive in there?" he called once, and then twice.

"When she said sealed, she meant that tape was set up outside the door to keep anyone from going in" She said as she pushed the charred window up. She glanced in and cringed. "Crap...theres a hole in the floor, I cant get in this way... I'll have to brave the front door, hopefully mom and gramps are still asleep

Yugo looked up. He recognized the window from the first time Ayane had chased him across the temple's property. "Will you be able to get down stairs? Didn't your mom say that the entrance to your room was sealed?" Yugo asked as he jumped all the way up to the window and hooked his claws into the window cill. He was holding Ayane with one arm now. "Go ahead and open it." he stated while holding them both up. If her door was sealed shut, he'd just open it for her so she could get to the rest of the house.

"We might be able to sneak in through the bedroom window" She said as he walked. She yelped when he scooped her up and looked at him. "Thank you" She said softly. She didnt know how to thank him for all he had done for her. Maybe she could bake him something as thanks. When they got to the house she pointed out where the window was, thankfully it was unlocked so she could climb in

Yugo frowned. He wasn't sure if he wanted her hugging his arm or not. The night was over...and she was safe. He closed his eyes, deciding to to just focus on getting her home. "Its fine." he whispered and bent down to scoop her up into his arms bridal style. It was amazing how easily he could pick her up whenever he wanted. He held her close against his chest. His entire body was burning like a furnace so she'd feel nice and toasty. The sun had just risen so Yugo decided to take his time getting home. What he didn't realize tho was that one of his fangs had left a light bruise on her neck. It looked like a small hickie, tho wasn't too noticeable. For a mom however, the bruise would stand out like a green thumb.

A blush crossed her cheeks as he nipped her lips. When he stood up she shivered, realizing just how cold it was without hugging up against him. "Kay' " She said and took his hand, standing up and hugged his arm against her. "S-sorry...Your just so warm" She said with a light smile

Yugo could smell the fear rising up inside her. As she sat up, he did too and leaned in. The wolf gently nipped her lips, just to comfort her tho. "I told you I'd keep watch." Yugo yawned. The wolf rose to his feet and stretched. The morning was pretty cold, much colder than the night had been. Yugo could hardly feel the iciness in the weather tho. He gazed down at Ayane. She was still wearing his shirt and her shorts from the other night. "Come on. Humans like you are weak to the cold." he replied softly while extending a hand to help her up

Aya softly groaned as he nudged her. She rolled over, half asleep and nuzzled herself into him. "Hm..five more minutes" She said softly. Obviously not an early riser. Her nose nudged against his bare chest. She blinked and froze for a moment before she looked up and saw Yugo. She sighed in relief and slowly sat up. "S-sorry" She said and ran her fingers through her hair.
