Chasing Time and Spells(mature)

Kota's wounds healed in no time. Out of all the people that had been involved, only a few had died. Most had simply passed out. Suddenly, a strong demonic aura, one twenty..no..fifty times as strong as the Zu surged in front the entrance to the mall. Yugo had picked up on Kasumi's scent and followed it. "You." Yugo growled darkly. His eyes flashed violent shades of red. Even tho he was looking at Ayane, he could easily tell that it was Kasumi he was standing before. Without a second of hesitation, Yugo jumped onto the second floor. He came charging like a flaming bullet. There was so much hate held within his eyes, but buried underneath that hate there was..sadness. Still, Yugo charged forward. He extended his claws ready to rip Ayane's body to shreds.

Kasumi sheathed her sword and checked on the young boy, using her energy to heal him. She jumped down toward Kota, she felt her hosts connection with the boy. "Hush, I'm here" She said, and leaned down, putting her hands against his wounds, her hands were warm as his wounds slowly healed, of course taking a toll on Ayane's untrained body

"N-No wait! His life, someone means to-" Nanami screamed just before her chest was pierced. The magic from the sword caused her body to break down into a mess of dark spiritual energy. It wrapped around the sword before being transfered into the book. The contents filled less than half a page indicating just how weak the Zu really was.

Slowly, Kota started to come around. He was still bleeding heavily tho. He had his spirit energy back, but body still felt weak. "A-Ayane..where? Please...be safe.." he whispered, his eyes closing. He had lost too much blood...

Kasumi closed the book and let it drop to the ground, no one else could touch it anyway so she had no fear of it being stolen. She grabbed her sword her hues flashed with amusment. "You really think..I care what you have to say about that mangy mongrel?' She asked. "Time to die...." She said and with a swift stike, thrust her sword into Nanami's chest, chanting the sword's blade softly glowed, recording the creatures demonic signature back into the book

Nanami froze. She could feel the spirit energy she had stole returning. Her dark eyes shifted from side to side. Both her plans had failed. She'd die, again..unless.. "W-Wait!" She pleaded and placed her hands up. Her body had pretty much returned to its pre-inflated state. "I-I have information. Information your wolf would like to hear." She grinned and slowly picked herself off the floor. Blood was dripping down from her mouth and cut wing. "Everyone knew about you two. Kukuku..a human..and a demon in love? How foolish. However, I'd be willing to be that even as a mere shadow you still care for him. I'll tell you what I know, but first you must allow me to escape."

"You fail for lack of attention you dumb bird" She scoffed, Some of the spirit energy was leaking out of her body, returning back to the humans that had been robbed from. "You really thought I'd let you die with the satisfaction of thinking you still won" She said. The spell was a mixture to paralize the zu as well as retract the stolen spiritual energy

Nanami fought to resist. Her claws sunk into the child's side's drawing blood, but eventually she was forced to drop the boy. She arched her head back and placed her hand over her ears. It was happening all over again. "FUCK!!!!!" she screamed out in pure agony. Her body bent forward. She had absorbed all that spirit energy for a reason. "Die you bitch!!" she screeched. Suddenly, her body started to inflate. The spirit energy she had absorbed caused her body to swell like a ball. And, like a balloon, when it couldn't take anymore it would pop...and destroy everything within five miles of the mall.

Kasumi tapped the sword on her shoulder and sighed. "Your playing the same song and tune feather brain...dont you recall what happened last time?" She asked as she jammped the sword into the tiled floor. She held her hands up and the book appears, the pages opening as she chanted once more, a deafening sound woul consume the Zu's ears forcing her to drop the child

The Zu was sent spiraling down into the first floor. Black feathers littered the air. "You bitch!!" She hissed from belong while clutching her cut wing. Then, she spotted a small child. The demon bird shot the half of her tongue that remained and pulled the child out of his mother's grasp. The mother had already died. "Kasumi!" Nanami screamed as she held the child between her now hooked claws. "I have this runt of a human. If you know whats good for you, you'll throw away your blade." She grinned widely.

She held the sword up before her and recited a chant, a barrier went up around her, blocking the feathers. "you've gotten slow" She said and ran toward the Zu. She jumped up, bringing her sword down and slashing one of the creatures wings, violet blood dripped from the blade. Her cold blue hues stared at the Zu. "Lets get this over with..." She said with a smirk

Nanami released a violent screech. She jerked her body back and took the air. Spouts of purple blood had splattered all over the floor. "You!" she screamed and extended her wings. "Oh, this is perfect!" she grinned and sent a barrage of razor sharp dark feathers straight at Ayane. "You're nothing more than a shadow. Tho, I'll enjoy killing you just the same!"

In a split second after seeing Kota smashed against the glass door Ayane's entire stance chanced. She held her hand out to the side, her sword appearing in a soft glow. She grasped it and unsheathed it and lept forward, slicing through the Zu's tongue, letting Kota drop to the ground. Her arua wasnt Ayane's now, but back to the origional state of Kazumi. "What was that you said? my my, havent we become the big fat turkey while I've been gone" She mocked

"Oh, I will. Its because of you and that wolf that I have to use this human form. I'm gonna suck you dry." Nanami hissed. Her crimson hues slowly shifted over to Kota, who was still gasping for her air. "Mmmmm but first.." she purred. Suddenly, Nanami shot her tongue out and wrapped it around Kota's neck. She picked him up and then slammed him hard into the one of Starbuck's glass doors. Blood trickled down Kota's head and arms. His body was steadily becoming frail from having his spirit energy sucked out of his body. "First..I'll drain this boy. You just sit back and watch. Without the wolf, you're nothing."

Ayane blinked, she could feel the air was thick with something...She looked around seeing people dropping to the floor. She looked up toward where Nanami was, her hues widened seeing spirit energy being obsorbed. "God damnit cant I enjoy one day of normal peace!" She growled and threw her mocha out. "Knock it off, if its me you want come get me" She said, her hues narrowed further, her anger was getting the better of her, it twisted her energy like back at the hospital

Kota nodded. As they left starbucks, Kota froze in his steps. He stared in horror as Nanami balanced herself along the wall meant to guard people from falling down onto the first floor. The drop wasn't that high, but the injuries could be serious. "Nanami-san! Get down from there right now!" Kota hissed. Nanami turned her head slightly. She looked over her shoulder and licked her lips. "But its delicious." she purred. "Eh?" Kota blinked. "The woman who slayed me...her spirit energy is delicious. The energy of the all these humans...its making me hot." she grinned. Suddenly, people began to drop one after another around then entire mall. Kota fell to his knees, his hands around his neck. "C-Cant..breath..." he gasped. Nanami stretched her hands above her head. Only Ayane would be able to see the 'river' of spirit energy that was being absorbed into her body. Suddenly, a pair of jet black wings sprouted from her back. She turned, her purple hues now crimson red. She hissed. Her teeth had turned into jagged fangs. Her appearance was starting to change. Her black feathers were very similar to the one's Ayane had seen on the Zu that had attacked the school.

"We passed a 'hot topic' she's probably in there" Aya said as she ordered her drink and sipped it. She relaxed a little and turned around. "Come on lets go check" She said as she headed for the goth like store. It was either here or spencers she could see the girl going to

"Hey.." Kota frowned as they came to the coffee shop. He knew that Ayane was in a bad mood, but he wasn't going to be her punching bag. "You know good and well that all class presidents have the same responsibilities. Its got nothing to do with standing up for myself. Its a position of leadership." Kota sighed and turned so he was leaned up against the ordering counter. It was only then that he noticed that Nanami was gone. "W-Where she go??" Kota blinked. He searched all the seats, but couldn't find Nanami anywhere.

"You know, you really need to try and stand up for yourself, the teachers keep asking you to do stuff because you never say no" She growled as she walked with her arms crossed. She smelled coffee and instantly turned right heading toward it. She wanted her carmal mocha...she'd have to remember to grab one for Yugo on her way home

"Oh?" Nanami chuckled. Kota bowed his head seven times. "Thank you SO much!" He exclaimed. Once they were inside the mall, Kota leaned in a bit so he could whisper something to Ayane. Nanami was walking a few steps behind them. "Really, thank you. I dont know what to do with her. Our teacher just dumped her on me. She's been saying weird stuff all morning. At first I thought she was joking...but now..I'm not sure." Kota whispered softly.

"I'm not into girls," Ayane stated flatly. She glared at Kota, she so did not even want to attempt to play baby sitter with this girl when she was this irritable. She needed to vent and this wasnt going to help. "Fine..." She muttered her hues still very much irritable

"Not at all. As a matter of fact its the opposite. You could say.." she paused and slowly ran her pierced tongue across her dark lips. "That i've fallen in love." she grinned. Kota blinked. "Ah..s-sorry Ayane. Nanami-san says some weird things some times. A-Anyway, I was going to show her to the mall since she only recently moved here. If you're not busy can you tag along?" Kota asked while clapping his hands together in prayer. He knew that Ayane was in a bad mood, but couldn't stand to be left alone with Nanami any longer.

Ayane looked up hearing her name called she sighed as Kota walked up. "Yeah, I'm fine...just yeah mom's been getting on my nerves again" She said. She looked at the goth girl and greeted her. Her hues sharpened though as the girl dared call her a cunt out of no where. "Do you have some sort of issue with me" She said, her hues narrowing. She was already in a bad mood, making her more mad wasnt the best idea

In the city, Kota was busy as usual. This time tho, he had company. Walking beside him was a short girl with jet black hair. She had streaks of purple running through her hair. Her makeup was dark giving her a 'undead' appearance. She had six piercings in both her ears, and another six along the bridge of her nose running on both sides. "Ayane!" Kota smiled after spotting her and waved. The goth girl who was walking beside him raised her pierced brow. Kota waved Ayane over, tho once she was close enough he immediately picked up on her fowl mood. "A-Are you ok?" he asked softly. "Did you get into another fight with your mom?" he asked softly. The girl beside him gave Ayane a wicked grin. "Oh right! This is Nanami-san. She's going to transfer into our class after tests are over. By the way, tests will start in two weeks. The Principle arranged for us to use the stadium." Kota stated. Nanami smiled widely. "Yo cunt." she chuckled. Kota's eyes shot wide open. He rubbed the back of his head and let out an awkward laugh. "N-Nanami-san...remember the conversation we just had? Its rude to address people like that..." Kota laughed softly.

"Good lord mom I liked it better when you stayed out of my personal life" She yelled before storming away. It was day time so she'd feel perfectly safe in they city. Her mom was getting on her nerves. She hated it, she didnt like being so frustrated toward her mom but now it was like everywhere she turned in her life her mother was there

"I dont have time for this shit..." Yugo grunted and turned away. He threw his hands up behind his head, sighing as he walked towards the woods that surrounded their home. "Ass." Mom spat, and just loud enough for Yugo to hear. Tho, he would have heard even if she had whispered it. "Ayane I dont like this." Mom frowned. Her gaze hardened when her daughter brought up trusting her. "Oh, you mean like how I trusted you to tell me the full details of what happened to you that night you left the house?" Mom blinked. The older woman slowly shook her head. "I'll be watching. I wont get in the way. I promise you. So, do whatever you need to do. Just know that I'll be watching is all."
