Chasing Time and Spells(mature)

"Because I'm not...Kasumi!" She cried. She hated being compared to her. She was her own person, even Yugo had made it clear that she was nothing like the Kasumi he knew, she only shared her appearance! She choked, her tearful hues didnt leave his angered ones. Her hands lightly gripping his arms as his grip tightening. She winced her vision beginning to blurr. "...A-Accept me...for who I am...as I am...now..." She choked. She had accepted him completely despite how everyone else including Kasumi called him a monster....Ayane had not once...called him that

"Thats not good enough!" Yugo snarled while baring his dagger like fangs at her. "Where do you get off asking to be friends? You know how I feel about Kasumi. You know that its not possible!!" Yugo snapped. He suddenly closed his eyes wincing from the pain that shot through his head. A black collar soon formed around his neck. It tightened, but Yugo kept his claws locked around Ayane's neck. They had drawn blood on both sides. "You tell me..." Yugo whispered in a softer tone. He started gasping for air, but still refused to let her go. "You tell me...what am I suppose to do?"

Ayane winced as his grip tightened. Her blue hues stared up at him. "I'm sorry..." She said, her voice a light whimper. "Its all my fault..." She said. She hated seeing him so unhappy and angry...she had liked getting to see him calm and relaxed with her. She started to cry. "I hate that she's inside me....using my body without my permission...its my body!" She cried. It was her life and she couldnt even take control of it.

"WELL I HATE YOU!" Yugo barked down at her. He started squeezing harder, which caused the pain in his head double. He bit down hard on his bottom lip. The pain was almost unbearable. "If there's no spell, then why cant I leave this damn city?!" he roared. Tho, as he gazed down into her eyes and saw a lack of fear, his grip tightened once more. "Friend!? Dont you understand? You'll never be anything to me! I thought it was strange, you being able to use Kasumi's book. Now it make's sense. She lives within you. Heh, you're nothing but a puppet. Your body's will means nothing. She's using you as she see's fit. And, one day, she'll take over. She'll finish what she started with me. So you see, you and I cant be friends. We can only be enemies! You are her! You're both the same!!"

She blinked as he tackled her and she stared up at him even as he started to choke her. "There is no spell in the book...You can look for yourself" She said, she lifted her hand and ran hers fingers along his claws. "Your not a pet...I do want to be your friend though..." She said softly. Even now she wasnt showing any fear. "I cant help that I like you" She said softly

Yugo let out a dark growl. Suddenly, he tackled her hard onto the ground. He placed his hand around her neck and slowly started sinking his claws down into her throat. The spell protecting her had already activated, but Yugo was bearing with the pain. "I am a demon." he snarled. "I'm not your fucking pet. I'm not your buddy. I'm not someone who should be underestimated. Undo the spell, and do it now or we'll find out which is stronger...my pain tolerance..or your throat."

"Yugo?" She blinked as he told her to leave. She got up. "Yugo...what brought this on...look, I'm fine" She said pulling her sleeve up and showed him her arm. Even seeing his claws she didnt back away. "You dont scare me Yugo...I'll admit I was startled at the mall...but you dont scare me" She said

Yugo placed his hands down and closed his eyes. His body didn't react to Ayane's presence. He didn't even know what to say. Tho, after some time Yugo rose to his feet. "Get lost." he growled. The wolf glared down at ayane. IF she didn't get the point yet, seeing his claws extend would let her know that he was serious. "I dont need your damn contracts. You'll have to figure shit out on your own. I'm leaving and you're gonna erase the spell thats keeping me bound here."

When he didnt respond she went into the woods looking for him She blinked seeing him near the hot springs. She set her things down and walked up to him. "...Hey" She said softly. She sat beside him. She had heard him questioning himself. But she didnt even know what do say.

Yugo didn't respond. Normally he came a few minutes after hearing his name called but not this time. No, Yugo was sitting down in front of the hot springs. They were the same ones he and Ayane had used a few nights ago. He stared down into the water. He remember everything. Kasumi had gazed at him with contempt. She despised him just as much as he did her. It hurt. It hurt like a thousand needles being jammed into an eyeball. What hurt worse tho was the fear he had seen within Ayane's eyes. He had scared her. Still, she had endured his bites just to prove that she wasn't a threat. "I'm...a fool..." Yugo whispered as he stared down into his reflection. "I dont understand.." he mumbled, his eyes now locking onto his hands. "Why was I brought back? Why couldn't I have remained locked in that damn statue? I would rather...I would've rather stayed sealed up...then be free...in this world.."

Ayane froze, she glared down at her mother. She pulled away from her and without a word ran out of the hospital. Her mother was actually going to do such a thing...fine. She ran back to the temple, her mother had taken the book and sword back. She ran inside and packed a back, putting the book inside and put the sword in a case. She walked back outside and looked around. "Yugo!" She yelled

"NO!" Mom screamed. She locked her hand around Ayane's wrist. "You WILL stay away from him! This is the second time Ayane. He's hurt you before. He'll do it again and again! I swear if you go after him I'll..I'll...I call the Li's and request that they kill him!" Mom screamed at the top of her lungs. She didn't want to, but now she really was left with no choice. "Ayane please...I get it." she whispered as tears streamed down her eyes. "I understand. You like him...I get it, but...he's not the one for you. Your dad...he would be sad to know that his daughter was risking her life to be a guy who was hurting her."

Ayane got up, she was going to demand to leave anyway. When the building shook she fell off the bed and blinked. She got up and ran out of the room and looked at her mother. "Yugo?" She asked, not even needing a confirmation from her. "I'm going after him" She said and ran down the hall

"Dont worry dear." Mom smiled brightly. "I only want whats best for you. I'd never do anything that wasn't good for you." She stated and turned to walk towards the door. Suddenly, the entire hospital shook sending Mom to the ground. Next door, a violent explosion had went off deep inside the police's building. Mom picked herself up just in time to what looked like a boy darting out from the smoke. It had to be Yugo. She rushed over towards the window. Yugo was running, but not towards the hospital. No, he was running back towards the temple..

"...Dont do something stupid mom..." She said, she knew her mom was planning something. She didnt like Yugo...she wasnt sure if she realized how much Ayane cared for him though...more than she should of...yeah perhaps...but still to remove him from her life...to make her sad...Aya would never forgive her for something like that

Mom sat in pure silence. She leaned back against her seat, her eyes closed. After a very long twenty minutes of silence she finally spoke. "You should rest sweetheart." she whispered. She leaned forward and placed a kiss on Ayane's forehead before rising to her feet. No one was going to believe that Yugo was a demon. Mom also doubted that Yugo could be held for very long. No..if she was going to get rid of him..she'd need to meet with the Li family. If anyone could kill a demon it would be them.

"I did...but I didnt....I...wasnt myself...and I think whoever was in control...was the one Yugo tried to attack..." She said. She pushed her mothers hands away when she tried to look at her. "Stop..." She demanded. She didnt want another examination. "He did...but I let him...I knew I could heal it...I was trying to snap him out of his rage" She said

"Y-You killed a demon?" Mom blinked. Then, she pulled the covers from Ayane's body and gave her a very thorough examination. "The doctors...they said that you were bitten by a dog..but you had no scars. They said that you blood was found in the mouth of a boy...a boy who..might not be human." Mom shuddered. She placed her hand firmly against her head as she took a seat. "Ayane...did he...did he attack you? Please..tell me. I swear I wont get mad. I just..I need to know."

Ayane had passed out from over using her powers. She was asleep in the hospital bed for a couple hours. Every time someone came to check on her she'd awaken for a moment before going right back to sleep. When her mother entered she slowly woke up Her senses were starting to heighten. "No....I dont think so...I was there with Kota and some new girl...but she was one of those giant birds that attacked the school in disguise...Its fuzzy but...I think I killed it...then...Yugo got there..." She said.

Yugo finally started to calm down. It took him passing out for the spell to lift, and for the collar around his neck to vanish. By then, the medics arrived at the mall along with a force of police men. The story was that terrorist had attacked the mall. However, no one could understand why Yugo had blood matching Ayane's all over his shirt. Also, no one could explain why Ayane didn't have any bite marks. Yugo's teeth were covered in them.

Later that night, Yugo was being held in a small confined room. He was strapped to the bed. The doctors nor the police had a clue what he was. He had fangs, not just regular teeth. His ears were slightly pointed. His build was much stronger than a human's...

Kota was resting peacefully. Mom had stopped by his room in the hospital on her way to see Ayane, who was still being kept. After she spent a few minutes talking with Kota's mother, Mom left and walked into Ayane's room. "Ayane?" she called softly. She placed her purse down on a chair and quickly walked up to the bed. "Ayane...the news said it was a terrorist attack. It wasn't...was it? It was him. Its all over the news."

Ayane had trouble focusing her vision. She clutched her arm, using more of her energy to heal herself, she was getting god at it, but the book still drained too much of her power. "Yugo...please" She whimpered, the blood loss remained, but the wound was completely healed.

Yugo's dagger like fangs sunk deep into her own spilling blood everywhere. His head twisted from left to right ripping her flesh away. The spell, which had him in agony, reached its second level. A jet black collar formed around Yugo's neck. It tightened, cutting off his oxygen. With no choice, Yugo released Ayane's arm. He gasped hard and brought his claws to his neck. The spell wasn't letting up. It wouldn't as long as Ayane was in danger..

Ayane blinked when nothing happened and looked down at Yugo as he stuggled to bite her. "Y-Yugo?" She blinked and dropped to her knees. "W-what...are you okay...why are you" She reached toward him and pulled her hand back as he tried to bite her. Her hues saddened seeing him to hell bent to hurt her. Her hues hardened a little as she closed her eyes and held her arm within his reach, dropping her guard, allowing his fangs to tear into her arm. She cried out in pain and looked at Yugo with tear filled hues. "I'm....not...your enemy" She winced and whimpered lightly. Kasumi would have never allowed herself to get physically injured to prove her trust in someone, not ever

Yugo had his fangs bared. He had been pissed before, but now, he really did look like a monster. Just as his claws came within an inch of Ayane his body dropped to the ground. The spell protecting her activated causing violent streaks of pain to shoot through his head. Yugo sunk his claws into his skull. He let out an ear piercing roar of pain. His bloodshot eyes were locked onto Ayane. Even while in withering pain, he was trying to inch closer towards her. He snapped his jaws at her. If only he could get close enough...just a few feet and he'd be able to take out one of her legs. He was completely lost to his rage. After seeing Kasumi..the only thing he could think of was slitting her throat.

Kasumi stood, she felt Yugo's energy awhile ago as he headed there. She turned her eyes meeting his. "Lets teach this little girl...you are to be feared for the monster you are" She said, and as he rushed her, her narrowed hues softened. Ayane blinked, her aura dimishing, returning to normal. She blinked and held her head, blinking seeing Yugo attacking her filled with rage. Her hues widened she she closed then and braced for impact
