Chasing Time and Spells(mature)

"Seriously?" Yugo blinked. That was news to him. He honestly didn't think she trusted him that much, tho he was fine with that. No demon deserved a 100% of someone's trust. When she asked whether or not her feelings were wrong, Yugo sighed softly. He closed his eyes. His silence told her that the question was complicated. "In my time..." he started, his chin resting on her shoulder. "Half breeds are looked down upon. You see, its not the relationship between humans and demons...well...not really. Its more so the result. Half breeds live in a constant state of fear. They're neither demon, nor human. They are beneath both." Yugo explained. "I...forgot that...when I was wish Kasumi, but that was a mistake. I'll say this, its fine for humans and demons to like each other, but...very rarely...does happiness come from those feelings." he replied softly, which was his way of telling her why they could never mate. A demon's seed was potent, and he didn't want to ruin Ayane's already miserable life by knocking her up.

"Your wrong...I trust you more than you think..." She said softly. Her soft hues were still sad. Any minute she could see her mom storming in and screaming at them both. "Not...while I'm living here...I love my mom...but I dont agree with her...not at all" She muttered. She felt his breath on her ear...she wanted him to bite...but she knew he wouldnt... "Yugo...is it...so wrong...for a human...to like a demon?" She asked softly

Yugo sat down, tho when she moved into his lap he kept his hands on the bed. His body was plenty warm tho. It heated up just to keep her nice and cozy. "Ayane." Yugo whispered, his warm breath brushing against one of her ears. He wanted to nip it. He knew she'd enjoy it, but he held back. "I know you dont trust me with allot of things...but trust me when I say we'll find time. I've been around for...oh...a couple thousand years..give or take a few hundred. I'll find a way. Trust me." he whispered against her ear, his lips just barely pressing against it.

"I-I know...but if I promise not to touch you...then...we wont ever be able to...but she's going to make sure we stay seperated if I dont...."She whimpered softly. She hesitated but let him in. She motioned for him to sit down and she sat in his lap and leaned her back against his chest. "We already hate each other...and if I refuse to bed to her wishes,...I dont think she'll give us time at all to prepare for windy..." She said and closed her eyes. She couldnt go without this...feeling the heat of his body against hers....his scent...the vibrations of his voice. They werent even doing anything wrong!...

Yugo sighed softly. He hated seeing Ayane in such pain. Still, he had given his word that he wouldn't touch her. "So..you didn't promise?" he asked softly. "Hey, let me in." he whispered softly. Once she did, he closed the door. "You do realize that just because I cant touch you, doesn't mean you can touch me right?" he asked while blinking lightly. The solution seemed obvious to him. "I overheard. You know..awesome hearing." he smirked while pointing to his ears. "We need to prep you for windy. We'll make the time, somehow. That wont be a problem. What I dont want is for you and your mother to start hating each other."

Ayane was sitting against her door. As he began to open it, it hit her back, stopping it at only a crack. "I cant make such a promise Yugo....I cant...even trying to now...it hurts" she cried softly into her arms. Having him so close, yet she wasnt allowed to touch him...He wasnt allowed to hold her...

Yugo watched Ayane leave. This wasn't what he wanted, not at all. "This...is all your fault." Mom shuddered. She was trying to hold it in. She didn't want to cry anymore. Yugo frowned. If it hadn't been for him, Ayane would have run off a long time ago. "Can I talk to her?" he asked. Mom didn't answer. Yugo gulped down the water, placed the glass down, then made his way towards the guest room. He knocked on the door softly before pushing it open. "Ayane?" he called, his head peeking in.

Ayane rested her head in her arms on the table, her hues distant and depressed. As Yugo came in she barely glanced at him...it would only tease her. "I'm going to go do my home work..." Ayane muttered and grabbed her bag. She got up and slowly walked past Yugo and to the guest bedroom where she had been sleeping the last month while her room was being fixed. Her mother was horrible...

Mom shrugged. "Thats not good enough. Enjoy your lock down. It will last until you're out of my house. Then, you can do whatever you want." Mom stated coldly and got up from the table. She needed to start working on dinner. Just then, Yugo came inside. "I hate being up there...and I hate wearing this stupid hat..." Yugo mumbled. He had taken off his shirt to keep it from getting dirty. He walked into the kitchen and instantly felt the heat between Ayane and Mom. "Uh....just came in for water..." he stated. "On the table." Mom answered with her back still turned. Yugo reached for the half empty glass. His golden eyes shifted between Mom and Ayane.

"You think I dont know that!!!" She yelled back. "He's not normal, yes he has hurt people, but you cant deny that he's gotten better, he's trying! Your asking me to not touch him ever....thats like putting me in a boat in the middle of the ocean!, water all around me, but not a drop to drink...it's just as bad as completely separating us...." She said. "All I can say is I'll try but I can't promise such a thing...I cant..." She said her hues softened and saddened as she looked down. She couldnt bear the thought...she loved being held by him...she loved his kisses...she had already taken that away from her...

"HE'S A DEMON!!!" Mom suddenly screamed. She slammed her hands hard against the table, turning them red. "He's not a normal boy Ayane. He's a demon that has killed and hurt, and he'll do it again. He's hurt you in the past and you be sure at some point he'll do it again." Mom spat, tho after a moment or two she calmed down and took her seat again. "Right now you dont know whats best for you. As your parent, its my job to look out for you. Its my job to make the hard choices that you refuse to. So, until you graduate, you'll follow my house rules. You can ever live under absolute lock down, or you can can swear that you'll never touch him. Your choice."

"Mom, why would you make me promise such a thing, when you know I like him...Yes you arent stupid, so I know, you know how I feel about him...how can you expect me to not touch him at all...what if he does get into another fight, I'm the only one who can try to calm him down, if anyone else approached him he'll hurt them...Mom he didnt hurt me this time...not at all...he's getting better at controlling himself...and I know you dont want me to like him...but I do..." She said

"Well thats disappointing." Mom sighed. "I was hoping we could slowly work things out. But, since you're not in the mood to bargain, your lock down remains. If Yugo can get back into school, I'm going to make it so that you two will never see each other. You'll have completely different schedules AND I'm going to have your grand father pick you up, and take you to school. No more walking with your friends." Mom stated. Oh, things were about to get harsher. "You will have no opportunities to sneak off, because lets face it, thats why Yugo became a student right? I'm not stupid Ayane." Mom stated, her voice filled with irritation. "Now..if you could promise me that you wont touch him, I'd be willing to ease up..maybe even allow you two to be alone during certain times of the day. At the very least, you'd be close at school..assuming that he doesn't get expelled."

Ayane smiled up at him. She was very proud of him. When her mom pulled her down stairs she sat at the table and looked at her mother as she tried to bargain with her. "You know he's the one I want to spend my time with even if I wasnt on lockdown...and I also know you wouldnt allow me to be alone with him even if I did make such a promise so I'm going to say, no" she said bluntly while resting her chin in her hand

Yugo glanced down at her. He was still being yelled at. His eyes said, 'how the hell you think I'm doing?' Just then, Mom came up the stairs. "Ayane, come on." she frowned and gently pulled her daughter along. For the most part, Ayane's room was back to normal. Only the roof needed fixing. Once they were down stairs, Mom moved into the kitchen. Kenji would be getting home soon and Grandpa was busy outside. "We need to have serious talk about how the next few days are going to pan out. Yugo promised that he wouldn't touch you, but I'm not so foolish as to leave it at that." Mom frowned. She may been old...er...but she wasn't an idiot. "Now, I want you to make the same promise. You do that...and I'll ease up on your lock down."

"I'm home!" Ayane said as she walked into the house. She took her shoes off and ran up the stairs to her old room and opened the door looking up at Yugo. He...looked good in a construction hat..."How you doing?" She asked softly, looking up at him as she leaned agaisnt the door frame

The rest of school hadn't gone well. Rumors and flying all over the place. Izumi had wanted to talk to Ayane, but hadn't got the chance. By the time Ayane got home and roof was halfway down. Yugo was sitting at the very top wearing a construction hat. He was being yelled at by the manger for hammering too hard. Because of 'strength' he had put another hole through the roof. Yugo was trying to hold back. Really, someone should have given him a medal. He was being barked at by a human and hadn't flipped out...yet.

School seemed to drag on longer then normal. She was somewhat anxious to get home. She didnt expect to see Yugo there...and get into another fight with her mother. She ran home though usually she waited as long as she could before going home, but she had to see...was he there waiting or did her mom chase him off again

"Well.." Mom frowned as she turned to face her daughter. "If its only holding hands then that no big loss. Besides, he already swore and wont be going back on his word...will you?" Mom asked with narrowed eyes while she turned again to face Yugo. "Whatever..." Yugo mumbled. Mom nodded. She'd take that as a yes. She was caught off guard when Ayane thanked her. Since she wasn't sure what to say, she just nodded. "Alright, come on..." Mom groaned once Ayane was gone. Yugo blinked. "Am I going somewhere?" he asked. "Well you cant stay here, so you're going back to the temple. There's a mountain of things to do. We're replacing the roof over Ayane's room today. You'll be helping."

Ayane was kept in the office for futher talking and she walked out just as Her mother forced Yugo to promise not to touch her. Her happy soft hues narrowed once more. "Mom...he only pushed me into the wall to make it look like he was fighting with me too, to keep me from getting in trouble after I calmed him down...besides I'm the one who liked to hold his hand" Ayane growled as she walked by her mother but paused. "But...thankyou...for standing up for Yugo" She said and walked to her next class

Mom nodded and rose to her feet. "Come on Yugo....kun. Ayane, you still have classes right?" Mom asked. Yugo rose up to his feet. Once they were outside the Principle's office, Mom turned. God, she felt like socking him! "Why would you put me in that position?" she asked calmly. "Well...I didn't know anyone else..." Yugo confessed while rubbing the back of his neck. "Fine, but you owe me." Mom frowned. "Fuck..." Yugo groaned. "As pay back, you must swear to keep your hands off my daughter. I'm not playing. You DONT touch her. I dont even want you shaking her hand. Promise me. Swear it on...whatever you demons hold sacred." Mom growled as she tapped her right foot against the floor. Yugo glared down at her. She had him beat. He did owe her. "Fine." he mumbled. "Swear it." Mom frowned. Yugo rolled his eyes. "Fine, fuck! I swear on my father's honor, on the honor of my tribe." Yugo stated. Mom let out a deep sigh, but nodded. Yugo looked off to the side. His promise was going to make Ayane and his makeout sessions...difficult.

Ayane was shocked that her mother was now standing up for Yugo. But she wouldnt be surprised if she still forbade him from coming onto temple grounds. But at least it was starting to sound like she was willing to at least try to understand him! Ayane's eyes brightened as she looked at her mom now.

The principle shook his head firmly. It didn't help that Yugo looked as if he hadn't done anything wrong. "Isn't the point of this school to acknowledge your student's potential?" Mom asked. Yugo looked up and blinked. "This young man has plenty of it. He just...He's been dealt a bad hand. He's lost both his parents. All he needs is someone to give a second chance, someone to set him straight. Naturally, I'd be willing to help do my part." Mom stated. Wait..why was she standing up for Yugo? She hated his guts. The principle sat back in his chair. He tapped his fingers against his desk for a moment. "I'm sorry, but the rules are the rules. However...if the board finds that he should be given a second chance during their review...then maybe he'll be able to stay in our school. For now tho, he must leave."

"Yugo..." Ayane whispered as he groaned. Her blue hues looked up at him. She smiled though, he was keeping his word and keeping his temper. She was hoping her mother would notice that at least. Anger management...she wondered if that would really work...but he'd have to be willing to try too which being ordered to do something usually meant he wouldnt

Mom was definitely caught of guard. It was sad, but she had gotten use to her new relationship with Ayane. The two of them had done nothing but fight all month and Mom had grown tired of crying every night. When Ayane grasped her hands tho, it made Mom want to believe that there was hope. "In any case.." he Principle coughed to get their attention. "Ogami-san will be expelled pending a review of his case. During the review, he will have to leave the school." the principle stated. Yugo leaned his head back and released a loud, and somewhat obnoxious groan. Mom frowned. What was the best option? She didn't want Yugo hanging around the house, but also didn't want him in school either. "Um..is there...anything that can be done? Maybe..an anger management program or something??" she asked softly.
