Chasing Time and Spells(mature)

Ayane was...shocked by her response....she wasnt going to let the police take him? As she suddenly yelled at Yugo Ayane reached over and grabbed her moms hand. "Mom...I"ll explain later...I'm fine...not even a bruise...okay?" She asked, for the first time, she didnt sound distant toward her, no she almost sounded like the Ayane her mother was missing so badly

Mom closed her eyes. The principle leaned forward, his hand on his phone. "Its...not a complete lie." Mom finally confessed. She sat back in her chair, her teeth lightly grinding against each other. "He's the son of my deceased friend. I've been...trying to help him, but he's a bit too much to handle. I had to kick him out because I was concerned about the influence he was having on my daughter." Mom stated flatly. The principle nodded. "Well I can certainly understand that." he sighed and turned to address Yugo. "Young man, you struck a teacher. Not only that, but you assaulted two other students, one of which is sitting right beside you. Do you understand what you've done?" he asked

"Wait, what??" Mom blinked. Yugo rolled his eyes. "Thats right, he shoved Ayane into the wall just as I got there." the principle stated. "Why you no good disgusting mutt!" Mom hissed. "Watch it." Yugo warned her, his eyes becoming as sharp as daggers. He could deal with most insults, but no wolf would ever tolerate anyone calling him, or her, a mutt.

Ayane pulled away from her mothers grip again and walked into the office. She sat right next to Yugo without a second thought and blinked looking at Yugo. "Seriously?" She asked finding it slightly amusing that he picked the women who hated him the most right now to chose as his guardian. As the principle asked her mother about guardianship Ayane looked at her mom. She already expected what her mother was going to say

In a flash, Mom stretched her hand out. It clutched around Ayane's arm like a vice grip. Her worried gaze quickly turned harsh. "Ladies, this way." The priciple frowned while looking over his shoulder. Mom frowned as well. She released Ayane's arm and moved to follow the principle. In his office, Yugo sat with his arms crossed over his chest. "Please sit down." The principle sighed. Mom nodded. Her eyes hit Yugo like a million knives. "Why am I here?" she asked. "W-Why you ask?" The principle blinked. "Well, when a student strikes a teacher as well as other students its only natural to contact said student's guardians." he stated. "Come again?" Mom frowned, her brow raised. "Uh...yea.." Yugo mumbled. "I may...have said you were my guardian..." Yugo stated while pressing his palm to his face. The principle's shifted. "Wait...whats going on? Is this young men under your care or not? IF he's not, I'll order him to be taken away by the police right now."

Mom hesitated. Having Yugo taken away would be a blessing. The only problem was that she was sure that the police wouldn't be able to hold him for long.

"I think you just ruined your friendship with her" Ari sighed. She was in the middle...

Ayane blinked hearing her mother and her hues narrowed like they often did around her now. As the principle called her she sighed. Her mother was going to find out anyway. "Yugo came to school" She said simply as pushed away from her mother, but followed the principle

Izumi stood completely dumbfounded. She stared at Ari. What had just happened?

As Ayane walked down the halls, she'd see her mother heading in the same direction from the opposite side. "Ayane??" Mom blinked. The woman quickly walked up to her daughter. "Whats going on? The school called me and said there was an incident. I just happened to be close by when I got the call." Mom stated. "Ah, you're here." came the sound of the principle's voice. "Thank you for coming, this way please. Ayane, you come as well since this involves you." The principle ordered. Mom gazed down at Ayane in confusion. "Ayane..whats this all about?"

Ayane's hues narrowed as Izumi began to scold her like her mother had. "If I didnt stop caring for him when my mother asked me how can you think you asking will be any different." She asked and pulled away from Izumi. "Wanna know why he refers to us as Humans, because we are, and he's a demon, There dont believe me, go ask my gramps for a crash course" She said and walked away. She lifted her hand and touched the mark on her neck from Yugo. He had changed...a lot...before he would have scoffed at her and just run off at her request...but he didnt

"Thats enough Ayane!!!" Izumi screamed. She didn't care if it meant the end of the friendship, she couldn't allow Ayane to continue deluding herself. "He doesn't love you! He's a freak Ayane! He was going to kill Yamada-Sensei. Ari-chan and I saw him with our own eyes. He..He had this look in his eyes. It was like...I dont know...like he was putting a dog out his misery. And, whats with all this human this and human that? Does he think he's some sort of alien??" Izumi asked. She grabbed Ayane by her shoulders and gently shook her. "Ayane please..for me..please stay away from him."

"Yugo...just please watch your temper....you cant lose control" She said softly. She gasped as the doors opened and lightly winced as he shoved her into the wall. She blinked and looked up at him. Her hues softened, she knew what he was doing. Ari walked up with Izumi. "I'm fine...it looks worse then it is..." She said softly. "You cant be serious..." Ari said. "He pushed me to put all the blame on him...he's got a short temper and an authority complex...he cant help it..." She said. "You think! He was going to Kill Yamada-sensei" Ari said. "He wasnt!...he just...he says stupid stuff..." She said and covered her mark on her neck with her hair

"I dont run from humans...not anymore." Yugo stated firmly. He had done enough running in the past to last him a life time. "I'll stay. I'll just have to swallow all their bullshit." Yugo grumbled. As she kissed his fingers, he gently gripped her by the chin. He pulled her closer to him and tilted her face up towards his warm inviting lips. He was about to kiss her when the doors slammed open. The principle, their home room teacher, and Izumi and Ari came rushing through the door. "You! You two are in huge trouble." The priniple yelled. Yugo suddenly pushed Ayane hard against the wall. "And thats what I think of you! Find someone else to pester!" He hissed. He didn't mind playing the bad guy. What he didn't want was for Ayane to get into trouble. Being forced into a cage...it sounded worse than death. "ENOUGH!" the principle hissed. Together, he and Ayane's home room teacher grabbed Yugo by the arms and carried him off.

Izumi's heart nearly jumped out of her chest when she saw Yugo push her friend. After Yugo had been dragged away. She walked up to Ayane. "A-Are you ok?"

Ayane's hues softened as his hand reached for her. Anyone else would have flinched after seeing his display of power but she leaned into his touch, inviting it. "I know...I dont want to fight either...but if you stay now, your going to be in huge trouble...You might have to leave the school and pick me up when schools out...that or...face the wrath of the teachers...and I dont think you have the patience for them" She said and took hold of his hand, her lips softly pressing against his fingers

Yugo's golden hues slowly shifted down. He stared into her soft blue hues. Damnit! He could feel them pulling him in. With a groan, Yugo shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever..." he mumbled. It was as good of an answer that she'd get. When he saw the love bite he had given her, Yugo reached forward and gently slid his warm finger tips over it. "Look...I get it. I...dont want to fight. Thats not why I came here.." he whispered softly. His finger tips gently traced over the bite and slowly up along her jaw, and eventually over his lips.

Ayane sighed. "Yugo...there arent laws like that among humans any more, not civilians..." She said. "Look, I'm sorry for doing that...but I'm associated to you...that can get me into a lot of trouble...I mean A lot...they can put me in a cage for the rest of my life...no freedom...sure your a demon you can escape cause most humans dont know how to handle you...but Yugo please...cant you try...to fit in? Just a little?" She asked, looking up at him with soft hues. She didnt want to fight after getting to see him after so long. She reached out and rested her hand on his arm. "Please?" She asked tilting her head, her hair brushed over her shoulder, letting his love bite show

Yugo lightly pushed her off him. "Lets get one thing straight." he frowned, his face now an inch from hers. "Just because I'm stuck here doesn't mean I have to follow your tribe's rules. Second, I challenged him and he accepted. According to the law, and by that, I mean the law of combat, the loser must die." Yugo stated in a condescending tone. "As for your friend, she attacked me. She got off lucky." Yugo grunted. He stepped back and crossed his arms over his chest. He let out a 'huff' as his gaze turned away from her. He hadn't come all the way to her school to put up with more of her peace loving-puppies and rainbows, crap.

Ayane smacked her hand into her head when Izumi smacked Yugo. "No fighting, come with me" Ayane growled as she grabbed Yugo's shirt and dragged him out the back doors. "Dont follow!!!" She yelled at Izumi. She was getting wuite a temper herself lately...though it was because she was sick of people butting into her business when they refused to understand things from her perspective. "Look, I'm sorry for telling you si--...that phrase, but what were you thinking Yugo...I thought you said you calmed down over the last month, you cant just walk up and kill people..."She said as she let go of his shirt and looked up at him

A bright purple collar formed around Yugo's neck. Before he had time to react, his body was pulling face first into the ground. "OUCH!" he screamed. The boy, who's attack had failed, breathed a deep sigh of relief. "Wait..whats happening?" he blinked. Yamada was out cold. He was breathing, but Yugo had given him a brutal pounding. "YOU BITCH!" Yugo snarled once the spell had been lifted. He glared daggers up at Ayane. "How many times have I told you not to do that??" he frowned. *SMACK!!!* The sound of Izumi's hand striking Yugo's cheek rung throughout the gym. Her hand throbbed, but the pain was worth it. "How dare you! What kind of man calls his girlfriend a bitch, and in front of the whole class?!" She hissed. Yugo's golden hues shot wide open. Nevermind the fact he had no idea what Izumi was talking about. What was a boyfriend? He had never heard that term before. No, that wasn't important. Izumi had struck him, which was as good as any challenge. "Oh, you're dead." Yugo growled. He flexed his claws into the floor underneath him and slowly rose up to his knees.

Ayane looked up and groaned, she rushed to the gym with Izumi. "S-Sit boy!!!" She yelled out, a reaction she didnt know where it came from but it just seemed like the right thing to say. Crap...he was going to be pissed at her again. She ran up to Yugo and the teacher, checking on Yamada-sensei first. She turned and glared at Yugo. "What were you thinking!" She demanded, wanting to know what on earth was going through his head to think it was okay to attack a teacher.

Izumi nodded, tho she had no idea what ayane would be able to do. She rushed out through the gym doors and ran panting into the art room. "Ayane! Ogami-kun...picking...fight...Yamada-Sensei.." she panted. God she hated running!!

Meanwhile, Yamada rose to his feet. "You're that new punk aint you?" he growled. Yugo nodded. "I challenge you." he declared. The entire class blinked, twice. Yamada laughed hard. "You what?" he chuckled. "I challenge you. The winner will lead this group of miserable pieces of trash." Yugo grinned. A few boys looked at each other. "Is he...calling us trash??" one of them blinked. "Uh...yes??" another one replied. Yamada laughed again. "You're strange kid. Heh, sorry to burst your bubble but teacher's are forbidden from touching students. You see, there is a sacred bond between sensei and students so even if I wanted to, I could never-" Yamada stated just as Yugo jabbed him right between the eyes with a BAM! Yamada staggered backwards, his face red. "Y-You little...THE BOND HAS BEEN BROKEN!" he roared as he charged Yugo like a wild boar.

By the time Ayane and Izumi got to the gym, Yamada was laying on the ground. Yugo had his foot placed firmly against the teacher's neck. "Where I come from, when one is challenge for a position of leadership its always a fight to death. Know your place, human." Yugo stated with a wide wicked grin. He flexed his claws, ready to give Yamada the final blow. The class started freaking out. Beating up a teacher was one thing, but killing him? "S-Someone stop him!!" a girl screamed. A boy from the foot ball team charged Yugo with a left handed punch. Yugo caught the boy's fist. His dagger like eyes glared down into the brown trembling hues of the boy. "That was foolish..."

"Looks that way... I um...think we should go get Ayane...she's his friend right?" Ari asked and looked at Izumi. She gasped just like everyone else when Yugo knocked Yamada's magazine out of his hands. "Izumi, go get aya, I'll go get the principle" Ari stated and ran toward the doors

"Yeah..but..." Izumi mumbled. She stared at Yugo in disbelief. Was he..really? Quickly, Izumi ran and placed herself in front of Yugo. "W-Wait! Listen, I dont know how they do things in the country, but here you dont pick fights with teachers. Besides, Yamada isn't the nicest sensei here." Izumi stated. "Perfect." Yugo grinned and pushed Izumi aside, making her stumble. "Y-You ass!" Izumi yelled and looked back at Ari. "Did he seriously just push me??" she frowned. It made her wonder what kind of abuse Ayane was taking.

When Yugo reached the bleachers where Yamada-sensei was sitting, the teacher cleared his throat with a short cough. "Whatever it is I'm not interested." he groaned. "Get back to running." Yamada ordered in a deep voice. Yugo grinned. He reached forward and with a swipe, knocked Yamada's magazine wright out of his hands. At the point, the entire class froze. Izumi's eyes shot wide open. "Oh...my god..."

One of the other girls in class, Ari stopped by Izumi panting. "Whats...his problem?" She asked watching Yugo walk up to Yamada. "Thats the new kid right?" Ari asked as she stood up straight. Ayane was in art class down the hall from the gym. She couldnt see anything going wrong in a class like gym, Yugo was very fit, he'd probably just excel in whatever they were doing.

Unfortunately, Yugo didn't understand the meaning of the word, 'behave.' When he got to the gym, he found that all of the students were taking orders from a single man. Yamada-sensei, a former Judo pro, had a fierce reputation for his 'no b.s' policy. Everyone was required to participate in gym. That day, everyone was running laps. Yugo looked around. Yamada-Sensei was lazily reading a magazine while everyone ran. "Humans..." Yugo mumbled as he came to a stop. While everyone else was panting he had barely broken a sweat. He stared hard at Yamada with contempt. Why wasn't he running too? Why wasn't he leading by example? "Ogami-kun?" Izumi blinked as she came running up to Yugo. She stopped in front of him and bent down to catch her breath. She had tiny beads of sweat running slowly down her forehead and neck making her short dark hair cling to her face. "What are you doing?" IZumi panted. Yugo tightened his fists. "I smell weakness." he growled darkly. Izumi stood up straight. "Say what now??" she blinked again, just as Yugo marched straight towards Yamada-sensei

"Hm...You could say that I guess" Aya said as Izumi asked about him being the one she had talked about before. "No, He is our age...he just works out, so he has a much more mature look to him" She said with a shrug. Aside from the thousands of years difference, in human years he did look like he was in his very early 20's. When they were caught by the teacher Ayane apologized and went to her class. Now she just had to pray that Yugo behaved in gym class so Izumi would question her.

"Nevermind.." Izumi sighed deeply. She looked up at Ayane. She hadn't seen her friend this happy in a while. "So he's the boyfriend with the bad temper hm?" she asked. "Well, he is cute. I'll give you that. But, there's no way he's our age right? I mean, he looks like he could be somewhere in his early twenties Ayane." Izumi blinked. "Hey, what are you two still doing in the halls?!" came the voice of one of the teachers, a balding pencil thin man in his forties. "Ah, sorry Sensei." Izumi smiled before turning back towards Ayane. "I've got gym. Lets talk at lunch. You can bring Ogami-kun."

"I did" She replied the same time Yugo did. "I just saved the roof for last so we could talk" She said. She nudjed Yugo back as he brushed past her and looked at Izumi, her blue hues much brighter then they had been over the past month. "Arent what?" She asked looking at her friend, whom she thought was beginning to act too much like her mother
