You Can't Save Me ((Yugo,Mature))

The girl kept a close eye on Burrows. God she wanted to kill him! It wasn't that he was a rapist. No, she wanted to kill him simply because she could. She could see it, his blood splattered all over the house. If she aimed right she could make the blood splatter into a work of art, well that was only if she cared enough. Slowly, she came down stairs. Kate wasn't moving so she had to improvise. "Damn little girl." she grunted and moved inbetween Burrows and his niece. "Good job fat fuck." she smirked just before jamming the butt of her gun right into his forehead. "You be out for a while." she chuckled and walked over to Kate poking her with the end of her gun. Sighing deeply, she holstered her weapons and forced Kate to her feet. She placed the signed paper and her ticket into her pocket and gave her a swift boot right out the door. Seconds later, a taxi pulled out and a very tall...and very muscular black man got out. "Got a call about you needing a ride to the airport?" he asked, his shades giving Kate a once over. "Hello..you awake girl?" she asked and looked over his shoulder before ushering her into the cab. Meanwhile, the girl who had knocked burrows out was hovering over his body. She gazed down at the man as if she were the death angel and Burrow's was her next target..

"O-Okay, Okay" He said and slowly stood up and grabbed the paper. He made his way down stairs pausing when He saw Kate. He went into the kitchen and found the tickets, grabbing them and walked back to Kate and slowly knelt in front of her, giving her the tickets and the signed paper. Kathrine didnt even flinch....she was staring off to the side with lifeless hues and he smirked as he stood up and kept his hands up. "Okay, done..." He said while looking down at Kathrine

The moment Kate stepped inside her home Mei's limo pulled off. Once again, Mei popped her phone open. "Are the cops still there?" she asked. On the other line a man with a heavy deep voice in formed her that they had just pulled off. "Proceed." she ordered and closed her phone shut. Shen had his head in his hands. Tears were threatening to fall from his eyes.

"Shut the fuck up!!!" the woman 'whispered' and clocked Burrows right upside the head with butt of one of her pistols. "Grab the paper." she ordered and now had both her pistols aimed at his head. "On the kitchen table there tickets. You, fat fuck, gonna give em to the girl down stairs along with the paper. I'll be watching from up here. You even blink with out my say so and..." she paused and spat out her cigarette so the burned tip hit his face. She gazed at Burrows with what had to be the most evil grin he'd ever seen. "Go now." she ordered while waving her pistol for him to move.

Kathrine looked off to the side when he forced her to look at him. She couldnt hear what he was saying... she was completely empty, "We are taking you home, where your uncle is waiting..." That was what kept repeating in her mind. She put up no fight as Genzi pulled her out of the car. She stumbed in when he pushed her toward the door and didnt even look back. After she had finally regained her mental state.... it all feel apart in an instant as she slid to the ground, her hues void of anything as everything she had ever gone through went playing through her mind.

"Okay, okay! Shit" Burrow's growled as he slowly reached for the pen. With a shaky hand he slowly started to sign the paper, not knowing what the hell he was even signing! Here he thought he had gotten lucky with a foriegn chick and she turned out to be some psychotic nut job out for blood. "Take it easy!" Burrows growled as he finished signing and put the pen down, putting his hands back up in front of him, making no sudden movements

Shen was trying his hardest to explain. He tried holding her hands, touching her shoulder, and anything else he could think of, but she stopped responding to him. Finally, Shen grabbed Kate forcing her to at least look in his direction. "Remember what I told you this morning? I was serious. I love you kate! My parents are right in front of us and I dont even care. Please..trust in my words. I will get you out of here. I would never abandon you!" Shen yelled, suddenly the car came to a stop and Genzi out. He walked around opening the door that Kate was sitting near. "Lets go." He stated firmly and pulled her out the limo away from shen before slamming door. The cops were watching in the distance. Genzi walked Kate up to her door. It was already open. "Go in." he instructed and released her arm from its iron grip. Without another word he turned and got back into the limo

Meanwhile, inside Kate's home up stairs her uncle was...preoccupied. "Ok let go ova this again yea?" came the voice of a young woman no older then shen. She had a pistol pressed against Mr Burrow's head and another pressed into his crotch while he sat. Between her lips she held a cigarette. She took in a drag and released the smoke in Burrow's face before continuing in her chinese accented english. "Careful dumb fuck. These babies love to chew you up." she grinned, her trigger fingers twitching. The pistols she held were both custom 9mm Beretta M92's, or Sword Cutlasses as she called them. "Now, to your right is paper. Reach for it, slowly. Sign it." she ordered motioning towards the pin on the table. Her golden eyes only reflected the blood lust which radiated from her body. She had the eyes of a rabid dog, one who'd bite without regrets. The paper she was ordering him to sign was a release form. He'd effectively be resigning as katherine's guardian.

Kathrine was looking down at her knees for the most part until Genzi spoke. She looked up as Mei pulled out her phone and looked at Shen as he reminded her of when he asked her to trust him. Upon hearing she was being returned to her uncles home though made her pull away from him. "Y-your taking me back....?" She asked, her voice hollow. She felt as though she had just been stabbed in the back.... she looked down at her knees again....without saying a word. She'd pull away any time Shen tried to take her hand or shoulder

"Well dont you two look happy. Did someone get in a little morning lovin?" Mei smirked. "M-Mother...no..." shen frowned, his cheeks turning pink. Genzi simply grunted and ordered the driver to take off. For the most part the ride was quiet, until Genzi spoke up. "Mei, we're being followed." he told her, his gaze shifting from the rear window. There were at least three cops trailing them. "Good." Mei stated and sat back. She flipped open her phone, mumbled the word, 'go' and then closed it. Shen took in a deep sigh and turned to Kate. "Remember when I asked you to trust me no matter what? Well, my mom has devised a way to get you out of here early. Before that though...we need to drop you off at your home...where your uncle will be waiting."

Kathrine smiled as a soft blush crossed her cheeks. She returned his tight embrace before having to break it. She nodded and held his hand tightly in hers and followed him to the car, Sliding in before him as he gestured her too. She bowed her head deeply to the both of them, not understanding at all what was going on, or what had been discussed

Shen's heart began to race as anticipation ran through his body. He wanted to feel her lips on his so badly. Shen eagerly greeted his lips. His strong arms wrapped tightly around her body holding her close. His lips parted feeling her tongue sliding against his lips. When she pulled back, he pouted, though smiled down at her none the less. "I love you too..so very much." he replied softly and cupped her cheek while she stroked his. He leaned down kissing her again, only for not as long. "Come on. My dad will complain." he smiled and intertwined his fingers with hers. When they got outside Mei's limo was waiting with her husband inside sitting next to her.

Kathrine followed him out the door and blinked as he took her hand and stopped her. She looked up at him confused but turned to face him and smiled. She leaned up against him, wrapped her arms around his neck and slowly pressed her lips against his, sliding her tongue along his lips before softly deepening the kiss lovingly. She continued the kiss passionatly before slowly breaking it and looked up at him. "I love you Shen..." She said softly and slid her fingers down along his cheek

"Well thats no good. You know I suck at picking between ties." Shen sighed deeply and rubbed the back of his head. "Well...I suppose I'll just keep this one on unles you feel that I should just change." he smiled and kissed her forehead again. Suddenly, shen's phone range. He picked up immediately. "I know..we're coming." he muttered before hanging up. "No time to change. We need to go." he stated trying to force the brightest smile he could. Before they left though he took Kate by the hand. "Kate...kiss me." he requested now holding both her hands gently. "Kiss me like you did when you first told how you felt. I need to feel it. I..it wasn't suppose to turn out like this. I was suppose to simply help you, but...I've ended up falling for you..I mean really falling for you."

When she heard Shen she turned, feeling his lips on her forhead she looked up at him and smiled. She looked at his tie as he asked her oppinion and chuckled. "I think you should go with that nice emerald green tie in your closet" She said while straightening the tie he had on. "But this one looks good too of course" she said and smiled up at him. She was nearly back to normal... she actually seemed to have more life in her than yesterday

Shen was going to skip breakfast. There was no way he'd be able to eat. He was waaay too jumpy. When Kate left to make her breakfast Shen took the opportunity to calm himself. He was sure that if kate sensed anything off about his attitude she'd worry. If she was worrying then her life face danger. "Ok Shen...here we go." he whispered and walked down stairs. As soon as he saw KAte he placed a kiss on her forehead like he always did in the mornings. "Hey how does this tie look on me?" he asked and took a step back. "Its black with white poka-dots. Do you think the solid black one would be better? I dont want my mother accusing me of having no fashion sense."

Surprisingly Kathrine didnt seem too worried. She liked his mother, and knowing she'd be there seemed to help keep Kate calm. "Okay" She said and headed out of the bathroom and down the stairs. Of course she wasnt aware that Mei had suggested to Shen to leave her... She popped some toast into the toaster and leaned against the counter and waited, yawning again just as the toast popped up. She put some jelly on the toast and started to eat

Shen was dressed in his work attire minus the lab coat. He had just finished putting on his tie when Kate walked in from the bathroom. "I told you before that we only had two days.." he reminded her. He knew she was sleepy but it was time to wake up. "We're going to meet my parents soon. I dont have time to cook so..just go grab some toast from the kitchen." he replied softly and gripped his tie. His body was shaking. Shen had no idea how the whole thing would play out.

Kathrine sat up with a protesting groan. She changed into a pair of jeans and a t shirt, tying her hair up into a pony tail. She walked into the bathroom and washed her own face and brushed her teeth. "Done..."She yawned softly, covering her mouth as she did so. "So whats up?" She asked while rubbing the sleep from her eyes

"Get dressed." he told her and rose from the bed. Shen walked into the bath to wash and his face and brush his teeth. Today was the day. He could only hope that whatever his mom had planned would work. He had asked his mom for more information, but she hadn't given him too many details. It was better that way in case something went wrong. Still, Shen felt that he deserved to be included. He stared at himself in the mirror before coming out of the bathroom to grab a change of clothes.

Kathrine had really enjoyed last nights date. She thought it was going to be another dinner with him like they had inside the apartment but she had genuinly smiled through out the night. It almost felt like a dream, that she didnt want to wake up and forget a thing. But as she felt him shaking her lightly she slowly opened her eyes. "Hm...what is it?" She asked. He never did tell her what was going on when he had asked her to completely trust him

The next day, Shen awoke to the sound of his alarm going off. The other night he had pulled out all the stops to make his first date with Kate as real as possible. He'd even got her flowers, though he had to guess at the kind she liked since he wasn't sure and didn't want to ruin the surprise by asking. The two of them had really enjoyed each other. It was almost like they were two people simply living life without all the negative twists. When they got back to his place, he placed a passionate good night kiss on her lips that carried on inside. Though that as far as their passion went, shen came to a conclusion. He loved kate. It wasn't simply about trying repent for his past sins. He truly loved her. The realization had been staring him in the face and he had ignored it. Now that it was in plain sight Shen began to have major concerns for Kate's well being.

"Kate.." shen whispered and turned over to shake her shoulder. His brown eyes gazed happily down at her as he leaned down to place a soft kiss on her lips. "Time to get up." he replied softly. Today was the day and they had very little time to waste. They needed to meet Mei and Genzi out in the parking lot by 1pm and it was already 12:25.

When Shen moved from under her she sat up and grabbed the hem of his shirt and looked down. "I'll....stay awake" She said quietly. She didnt seem willing to be very far apart from him. "I'll....do whatever you want today..." She said. "I'll try" she said softly and looked up at him, wanting him to know she was trying to hurry up and overcome all of this

"I agree with you. I saw click and to say the least was gravely disappointed. I wish he made more movies like The Waterboy." Shen stated, but blinked when she went to lay across his lap. "Kate...you just woke up like an hour and thirty minutes ago..." Shen blinked again. It looked like there would be no stopping her from napping though. Sighing deeply, shen got up so she could have the couch. "Well you nap then. I'm going to up to my room to do some reading."

"Only his early work is good, the stuff adam sandler has been doing lately is just horrible... I also like mr deeds , thats a good one" She said while stretching her arms out in front of her. She laid down across his lap and buried her face into a pillow. "Nap time..." She mumbled into the pillow. She had no drive to really try and do anything today

Shen got a couple of good laughs in. He looked down at KAte a few times and saw that she wasn't laughing...or even smiling. He closed his eyes for a moment rubbing his head with a free hand. At least she seemed relaxed. When the movie ended he moved his arm from around her and stretched both arms above his head. "That was pretty good. I love american movies." Shen chuckled. He looked at his watch. They still had plenty of time before dinner.

Kathrine had eaten half of her half of the sandwich before she stopped touching it. She had left it sitting on the coffee table and focused more on the movie. When he touched her hand with his fingers she leaned in against him, moving his arm over her head and around her shoulder as she cuddle up into him. Even though the movie was a comedy she never really laughed or smiled but she was watching it.

"You like this??" Shen blinked looking back at her. A small smiled formed on his lips as he flipped back to the channel. He placed the remote to the side and grabbed his plate making quick work of his half of the sandwich. He didn't expect Kate to eat all of hers, at least not right away. He sat back against the couch making himself comfortable. His shoulder was lightly brushing against hers during the movie and every now and then he'd reach out and gently run his fingers over her hand just to let her know he was still there, protecting her.
