You Can't Save Me ((Yugo,Mature))

Kathrine turned at the mention of cake. She walked over to him "We can split it" she said as she leaned up against him, her body pressing agaisnt his as she reached up for the cake. "Come on, I'm nearly full from the dinner, I cant eat it all by myself, and you have to feel the same way" She pouted as she reached up a little more, her breasts pushing against his chest. Her focus was entirly on the cake and didnt even realize what she was doing

Shen's brown eyes widened a bit. He was leaned against the fridge as she stretched. He looked away thanking himself for not having that third glass of wine. He was buzzed too, but it was a light one. "Um..o-oh there's one more piece of that cake left." he stated and turned to pull it out of the freezer. "Hmm...how should we decide who gets it? Any ideas?" Shen asked with a slightly pervy grin. Shen...being the man he was though...was actually thinking about challenging to a little competition involving answers from the book he had given her.

By the time Kathrine finished eating and finished her wine, there was a soft red blush on her cheeks. "Hn..." She looked at him. "Oh, I'll do them" She said and stretched, arching her back forward, making her chest still out a little. She stood up and started to collect the plates. She had a lovely buzz goin from the wine.

Shen pressed his palm to his face. It was hard to teach someone who already thought they knew everything. Actually...Shen recalled his own mentor going through something similar with him. Maybe this was payback. He looked up nodding as he took a sip of wine himself. "So I take it that this dinner pleases you?" he smirked softly. Shen had made enough chops for them both to have at least two. There was also plenty of bread and carrots. When they finished, Shen had drank two glasses of wine. He wanted a third, but had stopped himself. "Do you think you can wash the dishes?" he asked as he cleared the table. "If you're in too much pain though I'll take care of it."

"I know he structure of the human body, it was in the books I've read. I know every muscle, and every bone, how much pressure to apply to release tension in another area." She commented as she finished her salad. She fixed her plate with a porkchop, her eyes sparkled as she took in the scent. She took a bite. "Kyaa.....it's so good!" She cried out and took another bite, followed by a sip of the wine. "Hm...." She moaned softly

"Yes there is, however you need to at least learn the basics dont you think? Even people who enter the field of massage therapy need to know the structure of the human body." Shen sighed, though smiled when she complimented his food. "You're welcome. I'm happy you like it." he stated and poured himself a full glass of red wine. The flavor would work like magic when tasted just after biting into one of the pork chops. "I'll make sure to leave you a lunch for tomorrow. I cant have you starving for the entire day...though...I suppose if you needed to you could just order something from the lobby kitchen. The staff here are friendly."

"A little" She said as she looked at him. "I can't help it, I have no real interest in medicine...I'm better at massage therapy, isnt there some kind of course for that?" She asked as she leaned on the table. She blinked when he set a glass of wine in front of her and smiled. If she had a dog tail it'd be wagging like crazy right now. "Okay" She said with a wide grin. She started eating some of the salad, a blush crossing her cheeks as she took a bite. "Hm... you should become a chef" She said happily, having yet to touch her wine

"Am I boring you?" Shen frowned and let out a soft sigh. "It may not interest you, but you're going to have to learn that sometimes its not enough to rely on your memory. As a matter of fact, memorizing data is no way to learn. To need to understand the topic so that you can utilize the information." Shen replied softly as he took his seat. He handed her a small bowl for the salad. Even though she had lost his game he decided to reward her with some wine anyway. "Remember that you only get one now. No sweet talking me."

Kathrine pouted and crossed her arms. "I knew you hid the bean, I was hoping you were going to be fair" She said and sighed. She didnt look worried about this school and passing it and all. She had no real interest in medicine...She was doing this... because Shen said it would help her get out of her situation. She leaned back in her seat and looked at him. "Cant we save school time for when I'm not bruised and exhausted from a night full of sex?" She asked as she looked off to the side, uninterested

Shen simply shrugged his shoulders. Sure enough, the bean wasn't in his right hand or his left. "As a doctor, often we are forced to make educated guesses on how to treat a person. Its sad, but thats simply the way it is. However, how do you explain to one of your patient's love ones that you guessed...and now the patient is dead?" shen asked and once again folded his arms behind his back. "A doctor must be able to think outside the box. You must be able to see what cant be seen with normal eyes. Its that ability that will separate you from the other applicants at the school I mentioned in New York. Before, I asked you which hand was a hiding the bean in. Rather then looking at only those two choices you should have considered all of your options." Shen stated and brought out his hands again. He revealed that he had hidden the bean up along his left sleeve. "Understand? Its your choice of course whether you do enter medicine or not, but until you graduate you will need this knowledge."

"your not pulling one of those tricks where its not going to be in either hand are you?" She asked and looked at both his hands and gave a thoughtful look. "Hm... I pick....this one" She said and pointed to his right hand. she looked at his hand, focused wanting to see if she had picked right or not. She glanced to him then down to his hand. "Come on, dont keep me guessing, I pick the right hand, thats my final choice" She said

"Very good. I'll look it over after we're done." Shen stated and placed the chops down on the table. He was about to sit down, but paused to walk back towards the pantry and grabbed a single bean. "Tell you what, I'll make you a deal. If you can guess which hand I have hidden this bean in I'll allow you to have a single glass of wine." he stated and gave her a mischievous smile. He placed his hands behind his back, fumbled the bean around, and then placed his closed hands in front of her. "Pick one."

"Ouch" She winced and rubbed her nose. "Meanie....I bet it would have tasted amazing with the food" She pouted. She sighed lightly and winced as she stood up and slowly got the plates and silverware. She set the table and sat back down with another wince. "Ow..." She groaned lightly. She looekd at Shen as he brought out the food and smiled. "Oh, theres my test" she said. She knew she had gotten them all right, even the trick questions, everything she had read in the book gave her clues on how to answer the questions

Shen frowned and walked over towards giving her a 'light' flick against her nose. "I refuse to take any part that results in a minor drinking. You'll have soda." he stated firmly. This was the one time when her teasing wouldn't get to him. He raised a brow looking back towards the chops and opened the oven. A wide grin formed on the corner of hips lips. The pork chops had been browned to perfection! "Can you grab some plates and forks? Dinner is all done."

"Your lucky to have a hobby like that. If I had to pick something as a hobby...I suppose its reading since Ive never really wanted to do anything else" She said with a thoughtful expression. When he sighed about not having wine she smiled and put her fingers to her lips. "I wont tell if you dont, after all it wouldnt be the first time I've drank" she said softly. She wasnt really expecting him to say yes or anything, she thought she'd just tease him a little as she winked at him while still giving him a 'shh' sign with a smile

Shen's face turned a dark shade of red. He hadn't been paid a complement like that in..well..a long while. He looked at her smiling, his face still a little red as he opened the oven to check on the chops. "I do. For a person like me who loves science and math cooking provides the ultimate thrill. Also, it relaxes me too." Shen laughed. He walked over to the fridge and pulled out a 2 liter bottle of coke. "Mm too bad you're under age. Wine would go great with this meal." he sighed and placed the bottle on the table along with the bread and carrots. All they needed was the meat now.

Kathrine set the test on the table and reached for the pills, taking one as he directed. "God...your like a beast in bed..." she said as she arched her back, trying to crack it. She said down and stretched her hands up above her head. "Hn....it all smells so good!" She said with a smile as she leaned on the table and looked at him. "You really like to cook dont you?" She asked

"Still in pain?" Shen asked while his back faced her. He nodded towards a small capsule of pills that were sitting on the table. "Take one and one only." he warmed her. "Dinner will be ready in a little bit. We're having porkchops cooked in a secret gravy I learned about while in china. We're also having freshly baked bread, salad, and some steamed carrots." he smiled. Shen absolutely loved cooking! There were literally thousands of different variables one could combine. Each time a different result could be obtained simply by mixing and matching.

Kathrine blinked when he handed her a test. She lightly glared at him and grabbed the test and looked around for a pencil. She sat on the bed, crossing her legs and read through the entire test first. By the time she started to smell the enticing aroma of food she had finished her test and placed it off to the side, then laid back on the bed. She tried to relax her sore muscles sighing lightly. The food smelled amazing from up here, she could only imagine what it smelled like in the kitchen. She sat up and grabbed the test, slowly making her way down stairs, wanting to wince every step she took...god her thighs and hips hurt...

Shen looked back towards the steps a little surprised. Within a few minutes he came back with what looked be a four page test. "All the questions are multiple choice. Take your time because there are trick questions." he instructed and gave her a small grin. "Sorry but it seems I'm one step ahead of you. Good luck." Shen smiled and once again left to start their dinner. A few hours later some rather delightful scents were flooding the apartment. The salad Shen had prepared was already ready. It contained fresh strawberries, unsalted sunflower seeds, freshly baked croutons, and strips of pan seared chicken. The salad alone looked pretty amazing and it wasn't even the main dish.

"I guess I could...." She said, she didnt really care for cooking... she knew how but it wasnt her favorite thing to do. When he called up to her about finishing the book she smirked. "I already did" She yelled back. She had finished it last night when he asked her to sit and watch tv with him. SHe stretched out on the bed. She wondered what his parents were like. Part of her wished she could meet them... if it werent for their current circumstances

"Is that so?" Shen blinked. He always figured that she couldn't cook since she was always so hungry at school. "Well then next time how about you cook dinner for me hm? Just let me know what ingrediants you might need. There's a large kitchen on the bottom floor that has a little bit of everything. Technically the staff are suppose to be cooking for me, but I enjoy preparing my own food." he explained and shot her wink before leaving to make his way down stairs. It would take him a while to get everything he needed ready. "Oh, while I'm cooking I expect you to finish up that book!" Shen called out. Kate was crazy if she thought he'd let her lay in bed all day without doing some homework.

Kathrine smiled and clapped her hands together. "Yay" she said happily when he mentioned her special dinner. She blinked looking at him when he mentioned learning to cook for herself. "I already know how. When I first moved in with uncle I did all the chores and cooking and cleaning... but he made it a point to make a mess of whatever I just finished cleaning...so I just stopped bothering with it." She said. She had a photographic memory after all. Any recipe she read once, was stuck in her mind, she could duplicate anything. Technically she could have been a prodigy like he had claimed himself to be, only her talents had never been recognized

"Oh..I suppose that makes sense." Shen whispered and released her from his hold. He nodded agreeing with her strategy. "Right. No one needs to know that you're living with me. It would seriously threaten my plans to get you away from your uncle and out of this damn school." Shen stated with a hint of aggression in his voice. He couldn't believe that the Principle was in on it. It made him wonder how many other teachers were abusing Kate as well. "Well..tonight we can enjoy each other's company. Oh..speaking of which I had better get started on your jaw dropping dinner." Shen smiled. He knew exactly what he was going to cook. "Oh, you should prepare for the time when you'll be living on your own. A girl your age needs to know how to cook for herself so in addition to medicine I'll be teaching how to cook as well."

Kathrine blinked as he pulled her into him. She looked at him as he firmly decided what they were going to do tomorrow. "I'm not going to school tomorrow" She said. "I'm more sore then usual and I have too many bandages, when I'm like this I dont go to school. It'll look suspicious if I do" She said while looking up at him. "Speaking of...dont take it personally when I act cold to you... but I cant let the other students think anything is going on between us for obvious reasons" She said
