Chasing Time and Spells(mature)

Ayane blinked and looked at him as he turned toward her, the most serious she had seen him yet. She looked at him with soft blue hues before looking off to the side. "I-I dont know...But...I wish I did" She said softly. She wanted to understand what all was going on...but unless he would just sit and tell her about himself and this Kasumi person that would never happen

Yugo's head flung to the side! He looked back, growling, and promptly dropped her. "That fucking hurt.." Yugo hissed. For the second time that day, the imprint of her hand could be seen glowing on the right side of his face. "Why are you so out of shape? You're alive aren't you? That confirms it.." he stated while shifting his eyes back towards the school grounds. From the hill they stood on, Yugo could see all the destruction the birds had caused. "A normal human's body would have been melted by the demon's digestive juices. Yet, here you are...still kicking." Yugo frowned. He turned around, his brown eyes narrowed. "So I'll ask you one more time." he grunted while taking a knee in front of her. He leaned forward, their noses only inches apart. "Who the hell are you, why do you carry domain over Kasumi's book, and why do you smell and look so much like her????"

It didnt take long for Ayane to recover and wake up. Her blue eyes slowly opened and she blinked. "Wh-what...happened" she groaned bringing her hand up to her head. "Why...am I all stick--" She blinked and looked at Yugo who was holding her. "YOU JERK!" She yelled and smacked him hard across the face. His time limit was almost up. "I cant believe you threw me to that thing like meat!" She yelled

"Are you freaking kidding me?" Yugo sighed as he glared down her. "Kasumi was a first class warrior priestess. She would have never passed out from just being swallowed.." Yugo grumbled. With a deeper sigh, the wolf bent down to scoop Ayane into his arms. "Ewww she's covered in slime.." he groaned. "So not worth it.." he added before taking off. Unfortunately, he had neglected to finish the Zu off. After a few hours the massive bird began to squirm until it flipped itself back onto its feet."The woman who slayed us...we shall have our revenge!!!"

She screamed once more before the bird snapped its jaws, engulfing her completely. By the time he clawed his way into the bird's stomach she passed out from shock, stress tension, everything. She was at the point completely defensless to him and anything around her

"Calling me a jerk...how rude." Yugo frowned as he crossed his arms over his chest. He watched as the right head snapped its jaws shut and swallowed Ayane. Yugo sighed. His powered would fade in about ten minutes. "You owe me.." He grumbled and leaped high into the air. He slammed his fist into the left head of the Zu sending it flying back down into the ground. The thud from the impact sent hard vibrations through the ground for miles and miles. Yugo landed with a softer thud. The bird was was laying on its back, groaning. Yugo flexed his claws. Suddenly, his arm shot right into the side of the bird's belly spilling its internal juices all over the ground. "Hmmm...she's gotta be in here somewhere..." Yugo mumbled. He leaned in a bit trying to reach farther. "Ah, bingo." Yugo grinned. His claws locked around Ayane's foot and with a hard pull, dragged her out from the confines of the bird's stomach.

"W-what are you do--" She screamed, her nails slid along his arm, tearing his skin as he threw her. "W-what the hell!" She screamed. Her heart dropped as he panicked. "S-Someone!" She cried as she flew into the sky. She blinked as she felt herself beginning to fall. "You JERK HELP ME!!!!" She screamed looking down at the bird. She felt sick, her head started to spin

"Fine have it your way." Yugo growled. He reached back and sunk his claws into the back of her shirt to get a good grab. The wolf easily pulled her off. "Here's lunch!!" Yugo grinned while cocking his arm back. His biceps flexed. Suddenly, he threw Ayane high into the sky, way over the top of the crushed school. The Zu's heads looked up. Its winged quickly began to flap to lift its massive body off the ground. Yugo looked up. He placed his hand above his forehead to shield his eyes from the sun. "HEY! If you wanna fix our contract feel free to say so!!" he yelled from down on the ground. Meanwhile, the Zu's wings propelled it up into the sky. Both of its jaws opened ready to swallow Ayane whole...or rip her apart..whichever came first.

"H-How is that unfair!?" She yelled and screamed as he jumped to avoid the birds head. "I-I'm not offering that monster anything" She yelled and looked at him. "Five minutes....you dont need anymore than that, you dont even need 100% power to beat him. 80% was more than enough for the Zu's, it should be plenty for this thing....so 100& should make it as easy as killing a fly for you, right?" She stated while clinging to him

"Oooo...only five? I dont know..that sounds a bit unfair." Yugo stated while casually scratching the back of his head. Suddenly, the newly transformed Zu went into a dive aiming right for Yugo..well..technically Ayane. Yugo jumped out of the way just in time to avoid being crushed by one of the Zu's heads. "He looks mad too. Not that I blame him tho. I would have killed you too if not for that damn book." he grumbled. The Zu pulled its left head out of the ground. Slowly, its massive body turned around. "Hey, maybe if we offer him one of your legs he'll go away." Yugo grinned and jumped again after the massive bird lunged forward.

Ayane was trembling. How the hell was he staying so calm. "O-Okay fine! Full power for five minutes!" She yelled. If he was as great as he claimed he should have been able to beat the thing as it is now...but if he wanted full power, then five minutes would be fair right?

Sure enough, the Zu began to grow, grow, and grow until the weight from its jagged claws started crushing the roof. Yugo let out a deep sigh. He looked over his shoulder. "You're still there??" he growled while rolling his eyes. "I'm done here. Our contract stated that I would get rid of the Zu's. THAT thing is no Zu. Its a mega chicken pumped up on cactus juice." the wolf stated. He closed his eyes and slowly rolled his neck from left to right, cracking it. "If you want it dead you're gonna have to pay the toll. I suggest you hurry too. From the looks of it, that thing wants you, not me." Yugo stated and sure enough, he was right. The massive bird arched its duel heads towards the sky releasing a high pitched scream. Dozens of windows throughout what was left of the school shattered, causing glass to fly everywhere. "The woman who slayed us, she's near!!!" the two heads screamed. Yugo watched lazily as the bird's massive wings stretched out lifting it high up into the sky.

"W-what? You cant just leave" She said refusing to get off his back. She shuddered hearing the giant bird like creature speak and looked back over her shoulder at it with widened hues. She looked back at Yugo in awe. "W-wait...what do you mean? Cant you still kill it?" She asked looking at him. She didnt understand any of what was going on...this was all too surreal

"Dont be absurd" Yugo grunted. "I told you, my kind are vastly superior to yours. There's no way that could happen." he stated, tho the sound of bitterness could be picked up within the tone of his voice. "Well I'm done here. Off, now." Yugo ordered. The school looked like a war zone, but that wasn't his problem. Suddenly, an ear piercing shriek came from the roof of the school. There was one more bird left, the smallest of the group. "I can smell her. The blood of the woman who slayed us..she's near!" It screamed. Yugo's eyes shot over to Ayane. This couldn't be a coincidence. Suddenly, dark particles of energy stared flowing from the scattered corpses of bodies that Yugo had defeated. The bird perched upon the school opened its jaws and began to feed. Yugo looked up. His day had just become more annoying. "Well this is a problem.." he sighed. "You see there are three types of energy. There's your spiritual energy, which you humans have and use to different degrees throughout your daily life. There's also your life energy, which if used up, kills you. For demons, we have a third. Its called demon energy. Even if you kill a demon its energy remains and can be gathered. That little chick up there is about to turn into a twenty foot two head chicken in a minute."

Ayane clung to him as he evaded the monster birds. She blinked as he talked about how it was humans who destroyed his clan. She watched in amazment as he handled the birds with ease. Maybe 30 minutes was too much time... he was getting this done so quick. "So...humans and demons were never able to lie side by side?" She asked while glancing at him from over his shoulder

"Hmph this is nothing." Yugo grinned as he tore right through several other Zu's. With the presence of a strong aura, the birds seemed to be homing in on him. With a wide grin, Yugo stopped dead in his tracks. He looked up. Just above his head were three birds, each one with jagged fangs and wings as dark as night. "At my prime I commanded a force unlike none other. My tribe reigned supreme..." Yugo stated, but as he began to speak, his grin faded. "You humans took that away from me...and in return...I took your lives." he whispered softly. Suddenly, the already warm temperature of his body became hotter. "The score is not even tho...no...not by a long shot. So...dont you think for a single moment...that my rage has been nullified. No, it burns brighter..and it will continue to do so..until I've had my fill of vengeance..." Yugo stated with a long dark snarl. He tilted his head up towards the incoming Zu and opened his jaws. He drew vast amounts of tiny particles of demon energy and unleashed it in a MASSIVE blast that melted the flesh right from the bird's bodies on impact..

Aya didnt have to be told twice to hold on, She clung to him, her chest pressing into his still shirtless back, as her thighs squeezed against his hips. She blinked and glanced back as he sped forward after taking down one of the bird. "W-wow...that was amazing" She gasped and looked down at him. "Your really not all talk" She said impressed

Students were running everywhere. The army had showed up to defend the school, but the Zu had picked them apart. Not even the tanks were left. As Yugo sped through the streets, his eyes locked onto one bird that was hovering near by. It had a group of girls pinned down with no where to go. "Hold on!" Yugo yelled back to Ayane. It would have been a shame if she fell off. Yugo rushed forward. Once he was close enough, he jumped up again until he was right above the Zu. "Filthy vermin!" Yugo hissed as he drove his flaming claws right down the middle of the demon's body. The bird let out an ear piercing shriek. After landing on the ground, Yugo moved on. Behind him, what was left of the bird's body was being consumed by fire.

Aya looked up at him as he gloated about his powers returning. She looked up at him as he called her. "Cant you at least call me by my name..." She growled and yelped as he slung her over his back. "W-wait what are you doo--" She yelped and wrapped her arms around his neck. She opened her eyes and looked around, shocked by the height of his jump. She saw the school and gasped..."Oh...my god..." She blinked at the sight

While Ayane was blushing, Yugo was staring at his hands. His smile turned into a very wide grin. "Yes...its back!" Yugo roared. He stretched his hands up towards the sky shooting pillars of bright flames from his palms. "Yes! I haven't felt this good in decades! Finally!" He grinned. Suddenly, his golden eyes came to rest on Ayane. A deal was a deal. He was bound to her by a contract now. "Lets go girl." he smirked while grabbing hold of her arm. He slung her body onto his back and without warning her, leaped high into the sky, clear above the trees. They were so high that they were able to see the school..or what was left of it. "Close your mouth and hang on. When I start moving its hard to stop." Yugo smirked. He flexed his claws as his body quickly dropped back towards the ground. Yugo landed ontop of an inn. He ran a little and then jumped again clearing a good thirty yards of houses, trees, and other buildings.

Ayane opened her eyes and blinked. "Seal the--?" She blinked as he felt him grab her suddenly. Her eyes widened as he pushed his lips against hers, She blushed hard, trying to push him away but he didnt budge. As his tongue slid into her mouth her blush brightened, her eyes slowly closed as she gave in. When he broke the kiss she stumbled back blushing hard and touched her lips with her fingers

"F-Fine..." Yugo grunted. God, how could someone who was nothing like Kasumi be exactly like her at the same time? Yugo's eyes shifted down to the book. Honestly, he didn't believe she'd be able to do it. However, as the words started to appear on book's pages, his mind changed. He gazed down at Ayane with wide eyes. "Who is this human?" he thought to himself. Once she was done reciting the terms, the words started flashing shades of gold and red. "Alright, now we seal the deal." Yugo sighed. He hated this part..well..sort of. His massive body quickly closed the gap between them. He took her body into his arms bringing her into his chest. Yugo suddenly leaned down and pressed his lips against her. He closed his eyes, holding the kiss. His long dog like tongue pushed past her lips and slowly rolled over her own. By the time they broke the kiss, the words had turned jet black. The suddenly closed on its on. Yugo could already feel his powers returning.

She did as he said and closed her eyes before blinking. "15 minutes...y-you said these guys were weak" She said looking at him stubbornly. She closed her eyes again and focused as he told her. Words did come to mind...but they were foriegn...a language she didnt know, the same as the word in the book. She could translate them so she started to speak them in the ancient tongue

Yugo rolled his eyes. "Fine fine." he sighed. "Now, stretch your hands out towards the book and close your eyes. Do try to focus because if you mess this up it will fry your brain." Yugo explained in a softer tone. "Focus. The words or terms of the contract will appear inside your head. All you have to do is put them on paper. Once they're on paper all we have to do is put the finishing seal on the contract. Also, you need to decide how long the contract will last. For me..." Yugo paused. A dark grin slowly stretched around his lips. "I'll only need 30 minutes or so." he told her, which was a lie. He could have killed the birds in 5. He planned on running with his powers the moment he took care of the birds.

She winced as he growled at her. She looked at him, she trembled lightly. "A-alright..." She said, hesitantly...she couldnt waist time trying to bargain with him... "90%...but you cant harm any humans with your powers" She said looking at him. She had to set some sort of terms of her own
