Chasing Time and Spells(mature)

"No I'm not...I'm shocked my mother is allowing us to stay in the same room alone...." She said and sighed as he talked about wanting to rip her apart. "Yes yes, I know you do..." She said, getting bored of his repeating tune. As he walked over to the closet she blinked as he pulled Kenji out of the closet. Her cheeks turned red as he talked about her purity. "Kenji get out of here!" She yelled while getting up and grabbed his arm. "Stop listening to all the stuff gramps says" She said and shut the door, her face still red. She let out a long sigh

Yugo snorted. He hated that every time he turned around she was forcing something onto him. When she mentioned the bed, his eyes narrowed sharply. "You're too trusting. How do you know I wont rip you apart? I've already said that I want to kill you..and trust me..boy do I." Yugo growled. He flexed his claws and slowly started walking towards her. However, he paused. He turned his head towards the closet and sniffed the air. "What the..." he muttered, now walking towards the closet. He opened the doors. There, behind a few clothes stood Ayane's 7 year old brother. He had ladle between his hands and a pot on his head. Yugo grabbed the boy by the back of his shirt and carried him over to Ayane. "Hey let me go!!" he squirmed. "Grandpa said that as the only male it was my job to protect Sis's purity...whatever that means..."

Ayane sat back on the bed and looked up to him. "Im...I'm sorry..." She said and looked down. She hugged the earring in her hand. "N-no way, pendants break to easily...I dont want it getting lost" She said. "Your a demon right, getting an ear pierced will be nothing" She said looking up at him and blinked looking around the room when he asked where he was sleeping. "Um...well...this is the only bed...so here with me or...on the floor" She said

"The hell I cant. That ring belongs to my family. It...It was my mate's..." Yugo hissed. When she touched his chin, he snapped violently at her hand. He had been burned too many times by humans. He had watched his entire tribe divided and hunted like animals. "Look...just make the earring into a pendant. No..guns or whatever." he muttered. As she turned, Yugo's nose did pick up the scent of her body wash. He loved it, but would be damned before showing it. "So..where am I sleeping?"

"No...you cant kill people...not humans" She said looking at him and stood up. She walked up to him and tiled his chin to the side, then turned to look at his other ear. "Hm...your ears arent pierced..." She said looking at him. I'll have to buy a piercing gun tomorrow" She said as she stepped back, he'd get another good wiff of her body wash on her as she pushed her hair back over her shoulder and turned back toward the bed

Yugo nodded. He actually understood where Ayane was coming from and sympathized with her. "One is fine." he whispered. "Now all we need is to get my ring. As soon as your grandfather finds out where they are we'll travel to...this China...and then I'll kill them all." Yugo growled while flexing his claws. The ring was his. Humans had no right to hold something that belonged to him.

Ayane looked at the single earring she had in her hand. "They do?" She asked, examining it. She shrugged. "I mean...I suppose its possible...our family has lived on this land for generations upon generations according to gramps," She said. "So...will the earring not do? It's really the only thing thats precious to me" She said looking down at it. "Thats why...I'm only willing to give one up...I cant part with both pairs... it's hard enough to give up one..." She said looking down at it. She had some fond memories of her grandmother, she made their history and past seem like a fairy tale...gramps just made it sound like a boring lecture

Yugo followed Ayane into the guest room. The rooms in the temple looked so different from the ones in Kasumi's village. His eyes scanned the bed. It looked big enough to fit them both, but there was no way he was going to sleep beside a human...especially one that smelled and looked so much like Kasumi. Sighing, Yugo's golden eyes shifted towards the silver earrings. He moved towards the bed smelling them. "Your grandmother left you these?" he asked, brows raised a bit. "These have small traces of spiritual power." he stated before letting out a light snort. "Are you...related to Kasumi somehow? The spiritual energy coming off these earrings smell allot like the spiritual energy that Kasumi used..only weaker."

Ayane tried to think. "Um...well yes...but its a country occupied by a different race of humans..." She said not really knowing how to explain it. She blinked when he said her mom said they'd share the guest bedroom. "Really?" She asked looking at him, her blue hues traveled along his body, god the shirt made looking at him just as hard as no shirt. "U-Um, alright then, its this way..." She said and headed down the hall. "Oh...you said we needed something special to me for the contract right?" She asked as they walked into the bedroom, it was a full size bed...both of them could fit but...Ayane thought that would be awkward. She sat on the bed and took out one of the crescent shaped moon earings she wore and held it up for him to see. Would this work? My grandmother gave me these when I was little. I've always worn them...so...giving you one should work right?" She asked. They were pure silver

"W-Wait...whats a continent?" Yugo asked, still not understanding. "I know what a country is. Its like..human territory basically." he stated. When handed a shirt, Yugo glared at it. He was fine with wearing pants, but didn't understand why he absolutely had to wear a shirt too. "Fine." Yugo muttered. He took the shirt, but made sure to sniff it first before slipping it over his head. No one in the house had a build like Yugo so the shirt was nice and tight. It showed off about every muscle had and nicely displayed his abs. "So...your mom said that since your room is toast you and I have to share the guest room...or something."

"Oh right um...China....is...the continent...its a country and a big one at that....gramps is going to give the family who has it a call to see if we can get it back" She said. She stretched and looked at him. "So, did you enjoy dinner? Your eyes were so fixated on the food It's like you never had a good home cooked meal" She said as she walked toward the laundry room to grab him some form of shirt. She walked out and walked up to him handing him a t shirt. "Here...in...this era its decent if you cover yourself" She said glancing away from him with a slight blush

The moment Ayane stepped forward, Yugo let out a vicious snarl. He snapped his jaws at her, a warning..and the only one she'd get. His brown eyes locked onto her movements. "Wait...she's just a puny human. She's not Kasumi..and doesn't have a clue how to use that sword..or the book." Yugo thought to himself. Sighing, he stood of straight and relaxed a bit. There was no need for him to get so worked up..at least not yet. "What?" Yugo blinked. He didn't understand a word she had said. All he knew was that his family ring wasn't where it should have been. "Ok two questions. One...what...or where is this China. Two, how large is this family? I should be able to kill them all..but I still need to know how many I'll be dealing with."

"Yeah...but like I said, It seems to be rusted shut" She said while trying to remove it from its sheath. She looked at him seeing him growling and on edge. "Ah, s-sorry" She said turned, setting the sword down by the door and walked back into the kitchen lifting her hands. "I'm not going to use it on you" She said. She wanted to try and earn his trust if they were going to work together. "So, um...I have some...bad news" She said while running her fingers through her freshly washed hair. "Um...the ring...is with a family...in China..." She said and glanced at him

"You stubborn girl! As the next head of our family you must-" Grandpa lectured, tho he was soon cut off...as usual. Sighing, he promised that he'd contact the family as soon as he could. Back in the kitchen, Mom had left Yugo to do some laundry. The wolf sat leaned back against his chair. He smelled Ayane's scent long before she reached the door. However, when he saw her holding the sword, his body tensed. Yugo started growling. He wasn't even aware that he was doing it. His body slowly rose up from the table. His biceps flexed, as if preparing for an attack. "So...you did find it hm?" Yugo growled and slowly started moving towards the other side of the table.

Ayane took the sword and looked at it before glancing at gramps as he went into story mode. "Yes yes, okay, thankyou gramps" She said, even after all this she still wasnt willing to listen to his stories. "How soon can you get in touch with the family about the ring?" She asked as she turned to head up the stairs. She needed to go tell Yugo the bad news of it being in China. When her granpa confirmed he'd get in touch with the family as soon as possible she went back to the house carrying the sword. "Hey, Yugo" She called as she walked in the door

"Indeed." Grandpa stated. Strapped to his side was the rust covered sword. "This, according to our records, is the official sacred sword of Kasumi, which she dubbed Harmony. Its said that this blade cut through over 20,000 demons in her lifetime." Grandpa smiled proudly while handing the sword over. "Ayane..when the time comes you will need to use this sword to slay that demon. He must not be allowed to live. He has no place in this era. Bide your time my child. I can promise that he'll be expecting your attack. For this, is the very blade that Kasumi used to cut him down. The story goes that they battled for seven days and seven nights. According to legend, Kasumi used the last of her life energy to seal that wolf into a statue. She used a combination of her book and sword. THATS how much of a threat that demon is."

"Oh hey gramps" She said and sighed. "Yes, please do, it's important we get it back...I need it if I have any chance of sealing back all the demons into the book" She said with a sigh. "Oh, you said the sword was down here too right?" She asked looking at him

Yugo was content where he was. The beef stew that Mom had made for him made was heavenly. It actually made his mouth water a bit. Back in the basement, Grandpa was slowly making his way up the stairs when he ran into Ayane. "Ah, I found the name of the family who has that ring. Its the Li family. Right now they reside in Hong Kong. If you'd like, I would be happy to call the family head and see if we can work something out."

"Hm, I'm fine, besides the girls said they were ditching today, but I'll be sure to call and double check on them" She she said as she ate. When she finished she stood up and stretched. "Hm....Thanks again mom...I have to go see if Gramps found the heirlooms I asked about..." She said and cleaned up her plates and brought them to the kitchen. She headed out of the house and toward the basement to first look for the sword

"You're welcome honey." Mom smiled. She was just about done with Yugo's meal. Once finished, she placed it in front of him. "T-Thanks...I guess." Yugo mumbled. To Mom's surprise, Yugo had no difficulty using the chop sticks she had given him. "Yugo, do demons normally eat with tools?" Mom asked while taking a seat beside her daughter. "No." Yugo stated simply. "Then why do you know how to use them?" Mom asked. All she got though was a low grunt as Yugo continued to eat. Mom sighed softly. Having Yugo around felt like she was raising an undisciplined child. "Ayane. I heard that due to damages your school will be closed for the next few days. The principle is trying to find a replacement. The news said...that allot of people died today. I'm so sorry sweat heart. Maybe you should call your group of friends just to..you know..check and see."

Ayane changed, she was now wearing a jean mini skirt and a black tank top. At least her favorite skirt hadnt gotten burned. She walked back into the kitchen running her hands through her damp hair and sat down. "Thanks for dinner mom" She said as she grabbed a knife and fork

Yugo let out a small bark. He didn't take kindly to being pushed. Besides, he wanted to smell her some more. Sighing, the wolf headed back down stairs. He wasn't sure where the book was so he decided to sit back down at the table. Meanwhile, Grandpa was in the basement searching their family records. "Ah here we are. Hmm...yes its as I thought." he muttered while closing the old dusty book. "I suppose that demon is going to be rather upset when he finds out that his ring is in china." Grandpa sighed. "Well as long as he doesn't burn down more of my home. We've got to find a way to seal him. Ayane has no idea what he's capable of."

"No, I havent touched the book since we made that first contract" She said stubbornly. "Feel free to look in it" She said. She was half way from the stares when he stopped her. She gasped, dropping her basket and blushed as he smelled her. She shivered feeling his warm breath on her skin. "Wh-what...are you talking about..."She said her hues widened as she pushed him away, keeping control of her strength for once and just pushed him hard enough to move him back away from her. Her cheeks were red. She leaned down and grabbed her basket again. "N-Now wait here...." She growled and got up to the stairs and went into the bathroom

"Yea right. I bet if I were to check the book I'd find a spell written in there. I'd be willing to bet an idiot like you did it without meaning to." Yugo frowned. "Behave children." Came a warning from Mom. Yugo snorted. As Ayane started walking away Yugo sniffed the air. The scent..it was knew. He'd never smelled anything like it before in his life. "Wait." he ordered and grabbed her shoulder. He pinned her right up against the wall, making her drop the basket with contained her...unmentionables. "This smell..what is it?" Yugo blinked. He leaned in taking a deep whiff of her neck. His nose slowly moved down along her neck and across her bare shoulders. "This smells....good. Its a big improvement." Yugo blinked. The wolf continued sniffing her, tho he started moving further down her body. He sniffed her breasts, along her stomach, and was working his way down to the edge of her towel...

Ayane sighed and walked down stairs. When she got to the kitchen she blinked seeing Yugo there. "Y-yo..." She said. As he started walking toward her she stepped back till she was against the wall. "Um...I dont know...I didnt know I could" She said while scratching her head. She no longer had any of the scents of her purfume on her now, just the light scent of burnt sugar (smells so good, body wash X3) a scent he wouldnt know. She moved past him and grabbed her clothes. "Thanks mom" She said. "I'll be right back" She told Yugo and headed back upstairs to the bathroom to change
