You Can't Save Me ((Yugo,Mature))

As soon as the window rolled down and Lobo smelled the other dogs his head shot up and his tail started to wag. He walked up to the window and stuck his head out whimpering happily, his tail wagging at the site of other dogs, though they seemed to have little interest in him. "Lobo, down" Kate said and Lobo complied, sitting down and then laid down, but his tail was still wagging. "W-wow...this...place really is huge" She said as she glanced out the window. "Those arent all your cars are they?" She blinked, and looked at them all neatly parked

Shen nodded. He wondered tho if Kate still intended to have a separate room. Maybe it was still necessary. Their issues weren't going to vanish just because they had a few nights of passionate love making. Still, Shen was looking forward to living with Kate, and Ceres of course. This was a new chapter in his life. He could finally leave the past behind him.

When they got to the penthouse, Shen rolled down the window. In front of the complex was a very large iron gate that was being guarded by police and dogs. "Morning Mr. Li." the head guard smiled before whistling for the gate to be opened. "Morning, or good afternoon I suppose." Shen smiled. Once the gate was open Mike pulled in. Even the parking lot was huge. Shen had a few different cars parked outside; a Bentley, a Cadillac, a Lambo, and a few others. The cars belonged to the company tho and technically were not his, tho he did enjoy driving the Lambo.

Kathrine's eyes were wide. "Thats just...so much space..." She stated. What does someone do with that much living space? I mean...it was just him right? Well...he did have Himiko for a while..now he was going to have her and Ceres...Lobo as well but even still that was so much room. "I mean, I'll adjust...I managed to the last time I was living with you" She said with a smile

"Well...technically no. However, the apartment comes with my position in the company. You might not remember, but when I found out you were pregnant I threw away my dreams of being a doctor and caring for others. I wanted something that would insure that I could provide for you and Ceres. I manage my family's New York branch. I also have a stake in our stocks." Shen replied softly. "The apartment has six floors, all of which belong to me. The kitchen is on the third. Our rooms will be located on the fifth."

Lobo jumped in and sniffed all around the car, snorting at Mike's head before laying down. Kathrine smiled up at Shen as he kissed her and blinked. "What? But your other place was so big, you have an even bigger place now?" She asked looking at him in shock. "Do...we really need that much room?" She asked recalling his place he knew from just a month ago was huge!...And now the place they were heading was going to be even bigger?

"Hey hey I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that. Its just, the only girl I've every seen Mr. Shen with is Ms. Himiko. I swear I've driven her to just about every clothing store in the city. She looked good, cant deny that." Mike chuckled. He loved how Himiko would often purposely lean forward to give him a nice vice of her gorgeous breast. "Tease" Mike thought to himself. However, when he saw Shen coming back with Lobo on a leash he quickly turned around and sat up straight. The town car was big enough for him, Kate, Ceres, and Lobo to all fit in the back. "Take us home Mike." Shen ordered after letting Lobo in. He turned to Kate and placed a light kiss on her cheek. "You'll love my place. It makes the one I had when I was your teacher look tiny."

"Thank you" Kathrine said though quickly became annoyed with the boys next few comments. Her violet hues narrowed as she glared at him. "I dont think it's any concern of yours, nor do I believe you should be asking such rude questions" She said with a light hiss. She turned her head, clearly not interested in talking with the boy any more

"She's cute." Mike smiled. The boy had short dirty blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and very handsome smile. He knew he had to be careful with what he said around Kate. The last thing he wanted was to get fired, especially since the Li company paid him 500 bucks a week...just to drive a car! "So, whats a babe like you doing with someone like Mr. Shen? You two have a one night stand some time ago? Oh, are you his mistress!? Ms. Himiko is gonna flip." Mike smiled, tho soon wished he had put a little more thought into his words. He knew he had to be careful, but had issues keeping his trap shut.

Kathrine nodded and got into the car, sitting next to Ceres, holding the baby girl's tiny hand with her thumb and forefinger. "Yes, her eyes were darker but they've lightened up alot in the past couple weeks. She's only a two and a half weeks old" She said proudly. "Say hi to Mike" Kate said while waving Ceres's hand at the boy. Ceres started to blow her bubbles again and Kate wiped some of the drool. "Silly girl," She said. "She loves to make her own bubbles" Kate commented

"I'll do it. Just sit tight." Shen smiled. Mike closed Kate's door and took his seat at the wheel. He looked back and couldn't help but to notice just how attractive Kate was. He was knew the company so he had never been told anything about Shen having a girlfriend. "So..I'm guessing that little princess is yours and Mr. Li's?" he asked while turning some more so he could get a better look at Ceres. "Hehe she's got her mother's eyes."

Kathrine stepped off the train holding Ceres while Shen helped with the bags. As the boy quickly opened the door for her she thanked him and ignored the wink. Yep same old Kate ignoring any flirtatious actions from other guys. She hooked Ceres's car seat in and buckled the baby girl up. "I'm going to go get Lobo from the pet cart, or do you want to?" She asked with a light smile at Shen

The trip back to New York was a long one, but Shen didn't mind. When the train passed a farm, Shen held Ceres up so she could see all the cows and horses. "See that sweetie? Cows go Moooo!" Shen smiled brightly. When they finally reached their destination there was a car already waiting for them. A young man from the Li company eagerly opened the car door for Kate. "Morning sir." he smiled. "Good morning Mike." Shen smiled back while putting their bags in the trunk of the town car. "Mike this is Kate and my daughter Ceres. You'll be acting as her driver. I'll trust you to get her wherever she needs to go." Shen stated. Mike gave Shen a quick nod. The boy was maybe a year or two younger than Kate. He looked over at her with a wink. "She's in good hands, the baby too"

Kathrine chuckled softly. She was excited to see Mei again, but she was also...nervous as to what the women's reaction was going to be about being a grandmother and no one ever telling her sooner! She also wondered if she was going to be able to get her baby back after Mei gets her hands on her....but knowing Ceres she's fussy with new people when it was time for a bottle so maybe during feeding she'd be able to get her baby back for  a little bit

Shen looked back over his shoulder. His gut told him that he had. Even tho it had been a while since he had left the army he remembered to always trust his gut feelings. However, it wasn't like he could go investigate. "No, everything is fine." Shen smiled while turning on the car. "Ok Ceres, soon you'll be riding a train for the first time. After that you'll be meeting your grandmother....may god help us both...." Shen stated with a very long sigh.

((Ohh plot twist!))

"Everything okay?" Kathrine asked, seeing him pause. As he got in, she leaned forward, her hand came to rest on his arm from behind him. "You see something?" She asked. Lobo leaned his head down and licked Kate's hand. "All ready to go?" She asked and pet Lobo behind the ears.

Shen closed the door after Lobo jumped in. He made his way over towards the driver's side, but then paused. His eyes darted towards a series of trees just off to their left. Shen's body completely froze. He could of sworn he had caught the sight of a white flash from the tree tops. "Hmm...was it my imagination?" Shen muttered to himself. He shrugged his shoulders and moved to take his seat at the wheel.

Meanwhile,
Two men wearing dark green and black clothes sat hidden behind the trunk of a tall tree. They were up in the branches, cameras in hand. "He's good." one of them mumbled. "Well he was in the Chinese army." The other stated while pulling out a radio. "Lets report to the Captain."

Kathrine climbed into the back with Ceres, perfectly fine with being close to her baby girl. She continued to hum to Ceres to calm her down. Lobo jumped into the passenger seat once Shen gave a look of approval. The wolf obviously had some high respect for Shen, seeing him as an alpha figure, no problem.

"Alright. I suppose you can sit in the back with Ceres and Lobo can ride up front with me." Shen suggested, that way if Ceres needed anything they wouldn't have to stop. Shen walked outside. His eyes shifted back to the cabin. He wouldn't mind coming back for a vacation or something. "Already lets everyone." Shen smiled. He opened the passenger's door so Lobo could hop in.

Kathrine carried a calmer Ceres to the car as Shen went over anything. "No I think we got it all, we just have to get Lobo in the car with us, and the train station said they'd provide a dog kennle to keep in during the ride" She said as she walked to the car and hooked Ceres into her seat

Shen gladly handed Ceres over. MAybe when she got a little older they could go down to just one bath a day, but until then, Shen would continue to bathe her twice. "I'll grab the bags." Shen stated as walked back to retrieve the one suit case he had brought with him and the few that Kate had grabbed. After loading up the car, Shen closed the trunk. He headed inside to meet Kate and make sure that they weren't forgetting anything. "Lets see..I backed the tub, the baby bag is in the car, and we have all of Ceres' bottles. We can leave the crib here. The trunk is too full for it to go back there."

Kathrine could hear Ceres's wailing. Ever since Shen starting giving her more than a bath a day she became very fussy during her bath's. When Shen walked out with her Kathrine stood up and smiled holding out her arms taking Ceres. She couldnt carry the bags to the car, Shen had already told her not to, so she'd work on calming down Ceres. She walked around the living room humming softly, Lobo following at kathrine's side, every step

Shen let out a deep sigh. He knew this would happen. Ceres and baths simply did not mix..especially after waking her. "You're so moody Ceres..." Shen frowned, but then smiled. He bathed her quickly. The sooner he got her out the water the better. After rubbing lotion all over her Shen grabbed a fresh diaper. With his daughter bathed and dressed Shen carried her out into the living room where their bags were waiting. Unfortunately, Ceres was still fussing and nothing Shen tried seemed to be good enough to calm her.

"Good luck," Kathrine said as she slid on a pair of panties. She was still shy of exposing her stitches to him as they were right now so she waited till he walked out to put on a bra and shirt. Ceres whimpered and immediately began to fuss in Shen's arms as he woke her up from her sleep. She didnt calm down any when being put in the warm water, if anything it made her cry louder

Shen nodded. "Then I'll wake Ceres up and bathe her. She wont be happy tho." Shen warned her. He reached down into the crib and carefully scooped Ceres into his arms. He started rocking her, trying to wake her while he walked back into the bathroom where Ceres' baby tub sat. If his rocking didn't wake her the warm water would.

Kathrine jumped in the shower. She didnt take too long, only about ten minutes when she got out and dried herself off in the bathroom then wrapped the towel around herself and went to her room where her change of clothes waited. "I'll be ready to head out in about 20 minutes" She said. She hadnt really planned on doing herself for a train ride, if anything she'd put on a little make up on the train to save on time.
