You Can't Save Me ((Yugo,Mature))

"Yes, lots more. She often called Himiko...eh...my half breed whore..." Shen sighed. He had tried hard to get his mother to treat Himiko better, but the woman had refused. Nodding, Shen walked into his room to change. As soon as he was done, he walked back into Kate's room to check on Ceres who was still sleeping. "Its about time to wake you up baby girl." Shen smiled. "Today we're going on a train. You'll love it."

"Well...you said she still liked me more then Himiko right? On the ride, you should call her up and let her know we got back together...and then...hm..that wont work I cant just randomly lose my memories I guess...She'd need to know the whole thing..." She said. "Ugh...you think, I'll take a shower" She said and kissed him once more and then headed for the bathroom

Shen's eyes widened as well. He had forgotten about the rest of the tape. "No of course not. I'm sorry." Shen whispered. "I promise she'll only see the part where Ceres is born. All she'll need is an explanation for why...well...you're you I suppose."

Kathrine thought about it and had to agree...his mother would be easier to deal with if she got to smother Ceres with affection first. When he brought up the tape her hues widened. "Not the the whole tape!" She said. She had been dead set on letting him see pass the part where she gives birth. The sight of the footage of her dying gave her chills

Shen shook his head. "If I told her now she'd probably curse me out in Chinese...and then in English for keeping it from her. I figure she wont get too mad if we throw Ceres into her face as soon as we tell her. We'll have to be sure to show her the video of Jacob took tho. That should appease her...maybe..." Shen sighed again. Sometimes his mother was just plain scary. Then again, she had to be to have married a hardass like his father.

"Hmm...."She smiled into the kiss, not minding at all that he was getting her clothes all wet. "Ah...did you ever call your mother to tell her the news?" Kate asked. He knew he had been putting it off to keep his mother from flying up to MN...but they were getting ready to leave in the next couple hours.

Shen blinked as she pulled him down. He smiled tho when their lips met. He had already gotten addicted to kissing her. It wasn't hard. He loved her lips. "Well once we get to New York and we employ my mother as our official baby sitter we can enjoy many hot showers together." He grinned. His arms came to wrap tightly around her body. He leaned down kissing her deeply while pressing his wet body down into her own.

Kathrine was petting Lobo in the room when she heard the bathroom dorr open. She had tried to tell Shen only one bath per day was needed for Ceres, she didnt want the baby's skin to get too dry, but Shen was persistant and agreed to rub her body with lotion after each back...so they had agreed on two baths a day. Kathrine met Shen in the hall, instead of walking around him though, she walked right up to him and reached up, lightly pulling his neck, to have him lean down to her level. She pressed her lips against his softly. "Hm...you look so hot after a shower" She purred, loving seeing him in nothing but a towel and all wet from the water

Shen let out a long sigh of relief. The feeling of hot water running over his body felt amazing. He couldn't spend too long in the shower tho. Kate still needed to bathe. Shen also had to give Ceres a bath. He bathed her at least twice a day to make sure that she stayed clean. Kate had somehow managed to work him down from three baths a day. It was over the top, but Shen's doctor senses had kicked in. He knew nearly every single fatal disease that could kill babies in minutes, all of which were normally caused by poor hygiene. When he got out, Shen stepped out of the bathroom and into the hallway in nothing but a towel covering his waist. Small drops of water were running down his toned chest and between his abs. His hair also looked a bit longer since he hadn't tried it completely.

Kathrine nodded, "Yeah, I'll move everything to the door" She said. She planned on jumping in the shower once he was done. For now she lifted her shirt and put the cream onto her stitches, to help it heal faster. Then she made sure everything was all packed up before slowly moving the bags to the door. Jacob had been nice enough to get fake paper's for lobo, claiming he was a husky/malamute mix. He even had a family line for the wolf, so authorities wouldnt ask too many questions if they suspected something.

"She sure did. It was probably my story...tho...I'm not sure if thats something to be proud of." Shen blinked. As he stood from the bed, he stretched his arms over his head and released a long yawn. Today was the day. They'd finally be able to leave the cabin and return to New York. Shen, although cleared by the doctor, didn't want Ceres and Kate flying so he had purchased some train tickets. It would take longer, but he really wasn't in a rush. "I'm going to hit the shower. While I'm in, can you make sure we have everything in the baby bag?"

Kate ran her hand through her hair. "Hm....did Ceres actually stay asleep?" She asked. Usually the baby would wake up a half hour after being put back down in the morning. She got up and stretching again, walking over and looked into the crib and smiled seeing Ceres snooing away

ic: Shen had dosed off for maybe a few minutes. His nap hadn't lasted too long tho. By the time Kate was up Shen was sitting up reading a book of his. Smiling, he closed the book and shifted his gaze over towards Kate. "Morning sleepy head."

Kathrine slept soundly for another hour and a half before she began to stir on her own. She stretched, causing her body to press up against his. "Hnnn....." She groaned softly and blinked, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Morning" She said softly as she slowly sat up

Shen nodded and smiled happily. A part of him still couldn't believe that he and Kate were sharing a bed. Things had changed so fast within the last few days. Shen had originally come to Min for the sole purpose of claiming his daughter. Even though within his heart he still loved Kate, he greatly despised her for running off and having Ceres on her own. Of course, all that had changed now. Shen supposed he couldn't be too mad at Kate for running off and she had tried contacting him. "Its time to forget the past. Lagoon Company, Yui...everything.." he thought to himself. He had a new future waiting for him now so there was no need to worry about old concerns.

"I'd just down play the death parts a little until she gets older, and asks about them" Kate said as she curled herself up close to Shen, snuggling in the blanket. She yawned against and rested her head against his chest and closed her eyes. "Wake me in another hour or so" She requested softly and she slowly dozed back to sleep

"Yep. I'll just lay here." Shen smiled. "And you're right. She is just a baby. Heh, I've got a million stories for her. I think she'll especially like the ones from my days in the army. They're filled with action and life and death situations. Tho...I suppose those might be for when she's much older." Shen blinked. He'd have to make sure that he was carefully. He didn't want to terrorize Ceres at the young age of five or less.

Kate smiled. "She's only a baby. I'm sure when she's older, she'll love hearing your stories" Kate said softly and closed her eyes as he kissed her forehead. "Hm...you sure?" She asked when he told her to go back to sleep. She didnt want him to get bored sitting around the house with nothing to do

Shen shook his head. "Once she got her bottle she settled down. Tho...she did fall asleep while I was telling her a story. I was kinda disappointed." Shen smiled. He turned towards Kate and pressed his lips softly against her forehead. "I'm wide awake now thanks to her. You should go back to sleep tho. We have a big day tomorrow."

Feeling the bed shift, Kathrine's hues slowly opened. "She wasnt difficult...was she?" She yawned softly while letting him have his pillow back, and snuggled up against him. Apparently being a new mother, made her a rather light sleeper. Before she had been able to sleep through Shen getting in and out of bed

ic: Shen hadn't even realized that his daughter had dosed off. He looked down blinking twice. "I was just getting to good part..." Shen pouted. Retelling his childhood adventures had woken him up. "Oh well. Next time then." Shen whispered as he stood up. He carried Ceres back into Kate's room and placed her down gently into her crib. He pulled her small pink blanket over her and leaned down to place a soft kiss on her cheek. Hopefully she'd sleep for the rest of night. It was around 6am tho so there wasn't much of the night left. Sighing, Shen crawled back into bed. He closed his eyes, but realized he was completely awake now. "Damn.." Shen muttered.

Ceres looked up at her father with a bored expression. It didnt help that she was only two weeks old, her expressions were limited at this time. But her eyes never did leave Shen, except once or twice to look at the fan above them. She eventually dozed back off, lulled by the sound of Shen's soft voice.

Shen adjusted Ceres into his arms so he could wipe her chin. When he got to Kate's room he was surprised to see that she was still asleep. How anyone could sleep through Ceres' fussing was a mystery. "Mommy is passed out, but you're wide awake aren't you?" Shen whispered while turning around to walk back into the living room. He sat back down on the couch while holding Ceres securely in his arms. "I know, how about a story?" Shen whispered. "I'll tell you about the time I discovered a brand new world. I had just turned 12 years old..."

Little Ceres lightly gurgled as he held her. While hr started to pat her back, sure enough she spit up, while letting out a large burb. She fussed a little but then cooed in relief. Kate was hugging into Shen's pillow, fast asleep

Shen leaned back against the couch and closed his eyes. At last, Ceres had stopped crying. All he could hear now were the sounds of her chugging the milk he had warmed up. Once she was done, Shen pulled out a clean rag from the baby bag to wipe away any milk Ceres might have spit up. He placed her head on his shoulder and while walking back towards Kate's room, gently began to pat her back.
