You Can't Save Me ((Yugo,Mature))

Shen sighed. Honestly, this was why he hated dealing with Americans. Most of them were only interested in showing up for work and getting paid. Very few actually took pride in their jobs and helped customers. "Such an attitude would have never been allowed in China..." Shen muttered as he grabbed the crib. "No I got it." he stated while raising the box over his shoulder. "Does Ceres look happy in her stroller?"

Kathrine had never been so embarrassed. She had apologized to the worker he had snapped at and the manager for him causing such a fuss while he was getting the crib put in the car. She had explained how it was his first child and how he was very very over protective of her. When they got back, Kathrine got Ceres out of the car and put her in her new stroller. God the stroller was going to make things so much easier. Maybe later they could get her a walker when she started to walk too. "Need help with the crib?" She asked

"Thats good. I'm glad to hear that." Shen smiled brightly. Honestly...he had screwed up so much that he thought he'd never hear those words again. Hearing them now...sort of left a bad taste in his mouth, like he was cheating or something. "Well lets go." Shen smiled while turning back around. The gate was open.

Three hours later, the family pulled back into the Li property. Shen had bought a very nice and sturdy crib. It had taken awhile to buy tho. Shen had nearly gotten kicked out for starting a fight with the manager. The woman didn't know nearly enough about the products she was selling, which pissed shen off.

Kathrine blinked as the car halted and she looked at him. She nodded and smiled, She trusted him. She had no memory of when she had been raped by the gym teacher after he had promised her he'd keep her safe, so she had no reason to doubt his word at all. "Shen...I trust you more than anyone else in this world" She said softly

Shen nodded. "This isn't just my house, its also my office. The top floor is where I do most of my work. There are allot of company secrets up there so my father takes security very seriously." Shen stated. When Kate brought up her uncle, Shen stopped the car just short of the gate. When the guards were busy opening it, Shen so he was facing Kate. "He wont touch you. You're safe here. So is Ceres." he assured her. Shen would die before anyone harmed his girls.

"Sounds perfect" She said with a smile. She blinked as he mentioned having to have a card to get onto the grounds after leaving. "Oh wow...it really is secure then huh?" She asked as she looked out the window while he drove out. "So um...uncle....wont be able to find me then right?" She asked, in her mind set he was probably still looking for her

Shen nodded. That made sense. "Well I have no doubt that mom will take Ceres. Perhaps I can give you a few lessens then. Its not hard. You just have to pay close attention to your surroundings. Tho...maybe we'll go into the country. The city is probably the worse place for a first timer." Shen suggested. With Ceres strapped in her seat, Shen sat down behind the wheel. He started the car. The garage door was already open so he pulled out until he was ready to turn towards the gates. "Oh, I'll have to give you a special card if you ever go out on your own. The guards wont let you in without one. They can get pretty mean too." Shen warned her. The guards had been hired by his father..which told Shen all he needed to know about the men.

"Okay" She said with a smile and took the keys, walking over to the car and unlocked it. When he offered to let her drive her eyes widened before looking of to the side. "I...uh...dont really know how..." She said shyly and looked up at him. "I-I mean....I was never willing to ask the ass to teach me...so....yeah" She said as she handed him the keys. "Maybe you can help teach me when we dont have Ceres in the car?" She asked

"Well every now and then its ok to show off. Besides, I have allot to be proud of. The company is doing great, but more importantly, I have my baby girl and her mother with me." Shen smiled happily. He couldn't imagine going to califorina with Himiko. "Ah, I'll get it. Here you can unlock the car. Its the black one right there." Shen stated while pointing to the jet black town car that sat at the edge of the parking garage. When he came back with Ceres' car seat, he placed the seat in the back and made sure it was securely strapped in. "Hey Kate, you wanna drive?" Shen grinned. Actually, now that he thought about it...he couldn't recall ever seeing her drive anywhere. He wondered if she knew how.

Kathrine returned his kiss, glad to hear it was going to just be them in the car. She chuckled as he walked back to her with the keys. "You look so proud...never knew you were the type to want to show off" She said with a smile as she lightly bumped her hip into his and followed him outside. "Ah, Ceres's baby seat is in the limo" she said

Shen shook his head. "Nope, its just mommy, daddy, and the baby." he smiled and leaned in to plant a soft kiss on Kate's lips. When they got down to the first floor, Shen got the keys he needed from the front desk. The clerk wanted to call Mike, but Shen told her not to. He came back twirling the keys around his index finger. "Alright lets head out."

Kathrine nodded and followed Shen to the elevator. Ceres was beginning to fall asleep in the comfort of her mothers arms. The little girl yawned. "I know baby girl, we're going to go get you a new crib" She said softly while kissing her forehead. "So...no Matt, right?" She asked hopefully. She really didnt want to be hit on again

"Well...." Shen muttered. God he hoped that Lobo didn't decide to turn his suit into his own bathroom. Sighing, Shen nodded. He grabbed their baby bag and headed for the elevator. Rather then grabbing Mike, he'd get the keys to the Lambo from the front desk. He was looking forward to showing Kate around in it. The only problem was that it wasn't exactly a 'baby' safe car and the more shen thought about it...the more it seemed like a bad idea. "Hmm when we get to the first floor I'll just grab the keys to the town car."

"Of course I do" She said with a smile, her eyes lightened as he kissed her cheek. She got up and shifted Ceres again. "Alright, lets go them, Lobo should be fine if we leave him here" She said looking at the wolf who was still walking around, sniffing everything.

"You remember that?: Shen blinked in surprise. He of course remembered everything. He remembered feeling guilty after they had sex. The last thing he wanted was to be compared to the men who had taken advantage of her. Smiling, Shen pressed his lips softly against her cheek. "Well as comfortable as I am, why dont we go get those things? It shouldn't take too long, tho I do wanna make sure we get a safe crib."

Kathrine walked over to him and sat down, shifting Ceres in her arms. "We should do that before tonight..I dont want it to end up too late and have to worry about where she's going to sleep without waking up and wandering off." Kate said. She lightly glared at him, not finding his joking funny. "You know I dont like being hit on by other guys...." She lightly groaned and snuggled into him. "Thats one of the reasons I fell in love with you...you were always so dense, about things, and when we did have sex for the first time....you made sure it was what I wanted..." She said softly and smiled up at him while leaning her head on his arm

"Hmm not really. I say we relax. It was a long trip." Shen yawned as he walked over to the couch. They could unpack her things later. "Oh, we should definitely go shopping for a crib and maybe a stroller. There's a baby shop about two miles from here." he smiled. "Perhaps 'Mike' can give you a personal tour hm??" he grinned, tho he knew that Kate wouldn't find the joke too funny. Still, it seemed like ages since Shen had dealt with guys hitting on her. Himiko got hit on whenever they would go out..only she would encourage the flirting. Overtime Shen had learned to just ignore it,

"B-but its so big..." She said pointing over to it. "If I'm uncomfy I'll come sleep with you and then settle into my own room tomorrow...sound good?" She asked. When Walter and Matt took their leave Kate said goodbye, her goodbye to Matt was not as friendly. "Aparently..." She sighed as Shen teased her about having a new fan. She looked up at Shen as he tilted her chin up and smiled softly before closing her eyes and lightly returning the kiss. Lobo was walking about, sniffing everything. Ceres squirmed a little to get comfy in Kate's arms. "So...is there anything we should do before your parents get here?" She asked

"Kate...not the couch.." Shen protested. It was about the size of a small comfy bed, but Shen wanted her to have a real bed to sleep in. After the butler and Mike finished bringing in the bags the older man bowed his head. "My name Walter Winsworth. I've served the Li family for some time." he replied humbly. "And I'm Mike! Feel free to call me Katie." Mike grinned. Walter couched hard. He grabbed Mike by the back of his head and made him bow too. "Yes, you may call any of us if you require assistance." he stated before turning to leave while dragging Mike by his ear lobe. "Katie??" Shen blinked, tho wasn't jealous in the least. "You have a fan." he grinned. He walked up to Kate and gently took her chin in his hand. He leaned in and placed a tender kiss on her lips. "Tho I can see why. You're still a knock out and your boobs are huge." he chuckled. Seeing Ceres, Shen leaned down and placed a kiss on her cheek. "There, so my little girl doesn't feel left out."

"Ah...No need for the lady....just Kathrine or Kate is fine" She said to the butler and tilted her head. "May I ask your name?" She asked with a smile. As She followed Shen, Lobo followed her. She blinked as she stepped out and looked around. The place was Huge! But it seemed a lot less homey and more....cold. "It's nice" She said with a smile. "I um...If it's okay I'll take the couch on this floor...I....This much room is...um intimidating... "She said a little shyly. She knew she was safe but a place this big only made her wonder who could be hiding around the corner.

"As you wish Lady Katherine." The butler stated, this time using her full name now that he knew what it was. Shen stood up straight. The elevator took a few minutes to reach the fourth floor. "She was surprised." he stated, which was about all he could say. Mei hadn't heard a word about Kate in eight months. When they finally reached the fourth floor, the elevator doors opened revealing a very lavishly styled suit. As usual, Shen wasn't much for decoration so the suit looked a little plain, but damn was it huge! "This way." Shen smiled. The butler and Mike grabbed the bags. "Like I told you, dont stairs can be your own room. There's a hot tub in both bathrooms by the way." he smiled brightly. "I find them necessary for hard days."

Kathrine looked at the butler as he explained the layout of the building to her. "Ah, that makes sense, Shen's a great cook himself, he was picky even when I would try to cook for him" She said with a smile. "And...despite what Shen says, please dont treat me like I'm better then you...I'd love to get to know one another, and be more of friends...then well...master and servants" She said. She glanced at Shen as he stated his parents would be there tonight. "D-Did she sound angry when you mentioned me?" She asked

"I suppose..." Shen sighed deeply. He pulled out his phone. He'd make the call while walking Kate in. "Lady Kate, the first few floors are for the servants who take care of the property. The third floor is the kitchen. You'll find everything you need there. We did have a chef, but Mr. Li refused to allow...and pay for someone to cook for him." The butler explained. Meanwhile, Shen had a pained expression on his face. His mother was chewing him out. She'd been doing that allot lately thanks to his relationship with Himiko. "Listen mother...yes...no...y-no...look! Just come over please and bring father. It should be fine since you two are in Atlanta at the moment. Yes..I have something important to discuss...no...no...no mother...I'm not getting getting married to Himiko...listen, it involves Katherine. Alright." Shen stated and leaned over defeated. "They'll be here later in the night."

Kathrine unhooked Ceres from her seat and scooted over to the door of the car. She took Shen's hand and stepped out blinking and blushed as she was greeted by...well servants. She shyly bowed her head. Lobo jumped out of the car and started to walk around sniffing everything. "Lobo, come" Kate said. The wolf ran up to her and stood by herself, while still looking at their new surrounding. "I um..think you should give Mei a call now" She said looking at Shen after hearing the message she had left for him

"No no, everything you see belongs to my father's company. The cars are used mainly to to drive special guest or stockholders around. You know, the whole wine and dine thing." Shen sighed. Part of his job was keeping the stockholders in New York happy. If they weren't, he'd get a very nasty call from his father. When the car came to a stop, Mike jumped out and walked over to open Kate's door. A few other servants came up to greet Shen and Kate while Mike grabbed the bags out of the trunk. "Everyone, this is Kate and Ceres. Treat them the same way you'd treat me." Shen replied softly. The maids and butler all nodded and lightly bowed their heads. "Welcome home Mr. Li, Ms. Kate." The butler smiled. "Oh, there have been several calls from your mother. Her latest said...um...and I quote...'if you took off to fool around with that hoe...your father is going to put his foot...up...your ass....'.....end quote." The butler stated while rubbing the back of his head. Shen let out a deep sigh. "Message received..." he muttered while turning to help Kate out of the car.
