Kathrine blinked as he moved over to the bed and sat in front of her. She looked at him as he whispered her name, her hues widened as he confessed his feelings. Chang got up from his desk and walked around towards the bed. He sat down beside Kate. He knew she was confused, but he just couldn't pass up the chance to convey his feelings. "Kate.." Meanwhile, Tini had been looking for Kate for a good while. She was sober now, but still felt like shit. She happened accross a few of Chang's men. They were all gossiping like school girls. "Whats going on?" she asked, her eyes narrowing. One of the men pulled her close and began to whisper into her ear. "Five hours?!" Tini screamed, but then quickly covered her mouth. Kathrine looked off to the side. "Its not....that he failed...its just...." She trailed off and looked at him. "Chang...what....did you want from me?" She asked again, referring back to the pool. "Will you tell me?...." She asked asked as she folded her legs and leaned forward a little. "I'm sober...so... I'm okay to talk now, like you said...what was it?" She asked softly

"I'll..be honest with you Kate." Chang replied softly. He turned in his seat so he was facing her. He might have been a murderer, but he was not a liar. "I dont think I can tell you whether or not its right or not. I think all that matters is how you feel and whether or not you intend to act on these feelings." he replied softly, tho looked down for a moment. He had a pretty good feeling they were talking about him. "B-But even tho Shen has failed...I think he deserves to hear the truth before any decisions are made."

"Hi..." She responded as she sat up. She ran her hands through her hair before she hugged her legs. "Chang....is it wrong.....to wake up one day...not knowing who you are....having the man who loves you there...wanting to protect you....but your interested in someone else....?" She asked softly and looked at him, as she ran her fingers through her hair. She looked so lost. By the time she awoke, Chang was sitting at his desk looking over a few notes on his pc. He had finished all his work for the night. Tomorrow morning they would dock and from their make their way to the capital where a special contact was waiting. Chang had already set up the room he, Tini, and Kate would be in. They were going to stay in a hotel that was owned by the Triads. It was safest place to be as far as he could tell. "Oh you're awake." Chang smiled, seeing her rise up from the bed. "I left you some dinner. You'll need to heat it up tho."

Kathrine's body was completely relaxed. As his hand slid along her face she tilted her head into his touch as she slept with a small gentle smile on her lips. As he wished she slept for the a few hours. She wound up sleeping up until about 8pm, so roughly 5 hours. She began to stir and sleepily looked around. She recalled most of what happened. She stretched her body out and then buried her face back into Chang's scent, hugging his pillow against her

"Well...yes you are but its not your fault." Chang smiled. Once she was down he let out a deep sigh. He moved to pull the covers over her body making sure she was nice and warm. If he was lucky she'd sleep for a few hours so he could get some work done. Mainly he had to make sure that his guys were doing their jobs. Chang was about to pull away from the bed, but found himself pausing. He sat down by Kate's side. He gently slid a hand up along her face running his finger tips through a few strands of her hair. "Sleep well.."

Kathrine could hear his sigh. "Sorry....I'm being...hic.....difficult....arent I..." She spoke softly. She hugged his arm loosly. Not at all as tight as she had when she was high. Chang let out a frustrated sigh. All he wanted was to lay Kate down, but she seemed to be unwilling to give him a break. "Fine." he finally mumbled and took her by the hand. He led her to the third level where his room was located. Unlike hers, his room was much smaller and his bed was a full size instead of a queen. "Here, just lay down." he told her as he brought her over to the bed. She'd find that the sheets were covered in his scent. Although his bed was smaller his pillows were nice and fluffy too.

Kathrine blinked as he pulled her back up from the chair. She looked up at him and leaned her body against his. Nuzzling into him again. She shook her head as he asked if she'd sleep on Shen's bed. "Yeah..thats her habit." Chang laughed softly. He blinked as Kate got up. Would he ever get her to sit still? He stood there watching as she sat down in a chair. He walked up to her pulling her up. There was no way he'd let her sleep there. "Shen's room is through the curtain right? Since he's not here why dont you just use his bed?" Chang asked. In the back of his head he considered asking Kate if she wanted to just use his, but he figured that it might be best not to push Shen's patience. It wasn't that he was afraid of him, no far from it. However, it was Chang's job to insure that the boat ride went as smoothly as possible.

Kathrine looked at him after he kissed her cheek. She blinked as he suddenly lifted her back onto the bed and stretched. "Hnn...kay" She sighed softly and glanced over at Tini. "Now, no more wondering down the halls. Just stay here and rest ok? I'm charging you with keeping Tini from drinking too much." he smiled and reached over pulling a nearly half empty bottle of rum from between Tini's arms.
