You Can't Save Me ((Yugo,Mature))

Hearing his footsteps go away Kathrine peeked out from Chang's jacket and she rested her head against Chang's chest once more. She followed him back to her room and sat on the bed as he asked. She rubbed her eyes sleepily. "Chang?...." Kathrine asked softly. "What were you gonna say in the pool....you said....hic.......you said you wanted something....from me" She said as she slid off the bed and knelt on the floor with him. She sat in front of him, wrapped her arms around him lightly as she nuzzled against him and looked up with soft questioning hues

"Warden?" Shen blinked, his eyes on Kate now after he had taken in a few breaths. Finally, Shen shoulders dropped. What could he do? Besides there was no point in talking to Kate if she was drunk. Sighing he turned around heading back up towards the deck where he stayed until night came. Chang sighed in relief. He walked Kate back to his room. He wasn't surprised to find Tini snoozing in her bed. "Alright Kate just lay down for me." Chang replied softly. He knelt down on his knees to take off her shoes while she sat. Meanwhile, Shen found Revy who was hanging out on the deck. She looked at him with a side glance and offered him a cigarette. Shen took it gladly. He needed a good smoke.

Kathrine completely relaxed up until she felt Chang become tense. She glanced up to see Shen and groaned, burying her face back into Chang. Trying to hide herself within his coat. "The warden is back" She mumbled against Chang. Apparently not caring how Shen saw her. She was doing anything wrong. "Hic..." She hiccuped as she hid herself from Shen under Chang's jacket. She didnt seem to be an obnoxious drunk...or a sad drunk. Just a very relaxed one...

Chang mentally cursed Tini. He just knew that she was responsible and sure enough she was. He gazed down at Kate seeing her cuddle into him. Chang's eyes could help but to soften. Kate was just too cute to be mad at. "Thank you. I showered just a moment ago to wash the pool off me." Chang smiled as his arms wrapped around her. He turned Kate ready to take her back to her room when from around the corner came Shen! The older chinese male's eyes became sharpened daggers. "Shit.." Chang spat. This was twice in one day. "I'm just taking her to her room.." Chang muttered as he braced himself. Shen's eyes shifted over to Kate. She looked drunk...but the way she was holding onto Chang...he couldn't let it go. Shen suddenly closed his eyes taking in a very deep breath. Chang moved his right hand into his vest. Shen was unpredictable and he had no idea what was going to happen. He had orders from Lin that allowed him to shoot Shen if he needed to provided that he wasn't killed.

Kathrine had forgotten what she was doing half way down the hall. She looked up as her name was called. Her hazed hues focusing on Chang. "Ah..Chang-san" She said with a soft smile. She looked around as he mentioned she should go back to the room. "Hn....kay..." She said as she nuzzled herself against him sleepily. "Hm...Tini...hic....came in...and we had a few hic....drinks..." She said. Unlike when she had been high off the pain meds, now she was more of a shy cuddler. She nuzzled her face against his chest. Lightly burying herself in his scent. "Hm...you smell good" she said softly

Tini pouted. It seemed like Kate wasn't going to play ball so she'd have to think of something else. Out in the hall Chang was making his rounds. He had changed back into his clothes tho his hair was still wet. When he saw Kate he blinked twice. She was stumbling...like she had been drinking. It only took a second for him to think of the cause. "Tini." he muttered. Only she would have given Kate drinks. "Kate you ok?" Chang asked as he approached her. He reached out his hands to hold her steady. "I think you should go back to your room. If you wonder around the boat drunk you could get hurt." he told her while standing her upright. "God..you smell like rum, strong rum..the type Tini likes."

"Even so! It'd be one thing If I remembered who the hell I was at least, then sure...I'd know him and his quirks...but I dont...and I dont like it" She said as she fell back onto the bed. As Tini rambled off a plan Kathrine ran her fingers through her hair. "N-no...hic...." SHe muttered as she rolled onto her side. She was tired... tired from the swim ealier...she had almost fallen asleep when Tini had knocked. "I wanna...hic.....tell Shen...to stop...baby...ing...me" She growled and she stumbled her way over to the door. With some difficulty she opened the door and stumbled out. Her cheeks still red from the booze as she made her way a bit clumzily down the hall looking for Shen

"Oh stop it." Tini frowned. She had a small tint over her cheeks, but she wasn't anywhere near as drunk as Kate was..and she was still going. "I wish I had someone to fawn over me like Shen does you. What, would you rather be looked at like a whore, an expensive piece of ass?" Tini growled as she filled her glass. "At least Shen cares. At least he's willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you're safe even if it means looking like the bad guy." Tini stated. Then, it occurred to her. She knew exactly what they needed to do! "Lets switch rooms tonight!" she cried out in pure excitement. Tini drunkenly wobbled her way over towards Kate. "I'll Chang to my room tonight. I'll tel him...I dont know...something, but when he comes you'll be waiting for him instead. Meanwhile, we'll get a message to Shen that you want to see him but when he gets here I'll be waiting for him instead! Its cool proof..er..f-fool proof!!"

Kathrine blinked and stood up as someone knocked on her door. She looked at Tini with the rum and glasses and stepped the side. She could honestly use a drink now that she though about it. She joined Tini in her drinking. Letting Tini ramble on. She wound up drinking at least three glasses. A soft pink haze had crossed her nose after the first drink so she was pretty drunk compare to Tini. "Why cant he just let me be...I dont understand....I dont like being watched over like i'm a little kid. I'm always on guard around him cuz everytime I do something he brings up how it remindes him of the real me...what the fuck does that even me...I am me....I'm not some fake..." She growled and hiccuped . She rubbed her face against the sleeve of her arm. "I cant stand it...it's like im in a prison cell.." She muttered

A few hours passed and still Shen's side of the room remained silent. Soon came to Kate's door. It was Tini with a bottle of rum in one hand and two glasses in the other. She walked in, not bothering to wait for Kate to let her in. She filled both glasses and handed one right into Kate's arms. "Drink." she frowned before downing the liquor in one swig. "I just dont get it. I couldn't even get one word in. It was all, 'where is kate, is she ok, who is around her'." Tini growled and poured herself another glass full. "I mean after what happened to you I understand and I'm sorry..but really." Tini sighed just before letting out a gentle hiccup. She poured herself another three glasses feeling not nearly satisfied enough with her current level of intoxication.

Kathrine sighed lightly as she sat on the bed and laid back, staring up at the ceiling. Was she in the wrong?....sure...she had told Shen it was a fresh start....but she had also told him...there was no garentee that she would love him...that she would be the Kate he remembered. Was it so wrong to want her freedom....to not be guarded all the time because he didnt want to lose her. She rolled onto her side and curled herself up. It was all his nagging and protecting that was pushing her away from him and toward Chang... She couldnt say she loved Chang..she didnt know him. But she was attracted to him...and she wanted to get to know him. Shen on the other hand was being a little....well....clingly...

Shen had stepped out. For the last 15 minutes or so he had been frantically looking for Kate. Tini had tried to tell him...something, but he had paid her no mind. He walked up to the deck. It was about two in the afternoon so the sun was shining brightly overhead. Shen stared off into the distance of the sea. If he lost Kate a third time...he had no idea what he'd do. Part of him couldn't be too mad tho. She had lost her memory of him. It was natural for her to be attracted to other men..right? Then there was another part of him, a more bitter part. She had told him this would be their chance to start over and in yet..."Damnit.." Shen muttered. Just as they left he had looked back into Chang's eyes. He saw the longing within them. If he allowed Kate to be alone with him for too long surely..."No..I cant think like that. She wouldn't do that to me." Shen told himself over and over.

Kathrine looked up at Shen with a smile as he wrapped a towel around her. "Thank you" she said softly. She was a little startled by his silence. She looked down...as if she was being scolded. He was mad... She slowly walked behind him, hugging her clothes to her as she kept the towel wrapped around her. As he lead her into her room and had her sit down she thanked him again only to be responded with being told to shower. "O-okay..." She said. She stared at the curtain for awhile before she shed the chlorine smelling towel and walked into her bathroom and removed her bra and panties and hung them to dry. She jumped in the shower, washing out the chlorine from her skin and hair. After she finished she dried herself off and put on the white long sleeve button up that Chang had lent her since her other clothes were too revealing and she had forgotten the dark blue one in Tini's room. She buttoned the shirt up and walked out, rubbing her towel against her damp hair

Shen placed a towel over her body shielding it. He looked over at Jason threatening to knock his block off for staring so much. "Get her clothes." he ordered and turned Kate away from Chang. He walked back her to their room without a word. Once inside, he had her sit down on the bed. "You should shower. You'll get sick." he replied softly before heading over to his side of the room and closing the curtain behind him. Shen might have been dense, but he was no fool. He saw the smile KAte had given Chang. It was the same one she used to give him. It was a smile that held back hidden interest. He sat down on his bed, his hands running through his short jet black hair. "I'm losing her...and there's nothing I can do..."

"Eh?" She looked at him with slight confusion. Why was he apologizing. Kathrine blinked as he suddenly embraced her. "Y-yes?" She asked as he started to slowly lean forward. A soft pink blush slowly began to cross her cheeks as she slowly closed her eyes...Her body broze hearing Jason yell out. She pushed herself away from Chang almost as fast as he slid her off his lap. She looked over at Jason, Tini and Shen and blinked looking up at Shen. She looked down at her bra when Jason complimented it and turned red. and ducked under water... she had forgotten...about that... She looked up at Shen as he held his hand out towards her. She slolwy reached up and took his hand and blinked as she was lifted out of the pool so easily. She looked at Chang with a soft smile. "Thanks for the swimming lessons..." She said with a smile, trying to make it look less suspicious to Shen who was...of course guarding her...

"I'm sorry.." Chang whispered, tho he couldn't explain why, not now. He looked down into her eyes as her head came to rest on his shoulder. Their lips were close, their breaths mingling. Chang's arms suddenly came to lock around her smaller frame. He could feel the droplets of water that were running down her body. "Katherine.." Chang whispered softly. "There's something I want from you." he told her as his brown eyes stared deeply into her own. His hues were filled not with lust, but genuine love for her. He began to lean forward. Their lips were only inches apart. "HEY I FOUND HER!!!" came the irritating sound of Jason's voice. Chang jumped a little and pulled back. He managed to slide Kate off his lap just before Shen and Tini came up to the pool. Shen's eyes locked onto both of them. Jason was already drooling. "Nice bra." he chuckled. "Sorry.." Tini whispered. Shen stepped forward offering Kate a hand out. He didn't say anything tho, not yet at least.

"Hm...I guess thats true..." She said as she felt his hands lighten on her bruised spots. She blinked hearing his sigh and glanced back at him as he nuzzled against her. "Oh...the bruises..." She commented, just now remembering they were there. "I'm sore....but I'll live" She said with a very soft smile. She leaned back against him so her back pressed against his chest and rested her head against his shoulder. Her face, facing towards his neck. "I try not to think about them....if I dont.... they dont hurt as much as they probably should" She said softly

"I dont think it works that way. Babies will watch their parents walk but until they try and fall they'll never learn." Chang replied softly. Thanks to the water and his rubbing he noticed that what looked like makeup was coming off her back. He blinked, wondering why should put it on her back of all places. Then he got his answer. She wanted to hide her bruises. Some Chang new were caused by her raping while the rest had been caused by the explosion. He closed his eyes releasing a hard sigh. He had been against the order. It was the first time he had spoken out against something Lin wanted to do. He had tried, honestly he had. He had did everything to try to change Lin's mind, but in the end there was only one boss. Chang gently ran his finger tips down one of the deeper scratches on her back. Now that the makeup was coming off he could see a few darker ones on her shoulders probably from being held down. He leaned forward a bit resting his nose against her flesh. The warmth of his breath brushing over her bruises. "Is your body...ok?"

"It's frustrating...it feels like I should know this...or at least....It shouldnt be as hard to learn....Shen says I have a photographic memory...ah, maybe if you swim around while I watch I can get it" She said as she tilted her head back so she was looking up at him with a smile. "Well...its a thought anyway" She said as she looked forward again. "Hnn...." She lightly groaned as he came across tender spots on her back. Her hands lightly gripped his knees as she winced lightly. As he rubbed, the make up Tini had used to cover all her bruises was wiped away showing a few bruises and scrapes on her back from when she had hit the window so hard.

"That really surprised me. You always seemed like the type to take on any challenge." Chang told her honestly. He pressed his palms down into her shoulders kneading her skin to help get some of the knots out. Most had probably came from being thrown across their old base after Shen had lef of the grenade. "Well we have all today and night left at sea. Maybe after you've had a breather we can work on it again." He smiled and began to move his hands down along her back. For someone who killed people for a living, his touch was surprisingly gentle. Chang looked forward. She seemed to be enjoying his massage. Then, he heard it, the sound of her purring. He had heard the erotic sound before when she had more or less dry humped him in the limo. His eyes quickly shifted back to what he was doing. He couldn't get flustered, not with her sitting in his lap.

Kathrine shook her head. "Sorry....I lost my nerve when you let go..." She said a bit disappointed in herself as she looked down at the water. She nodded as he mentioned taking a break. She loosened her grip on him but still clung to him as he walked back over to the shallowed and sat down. She started kicking her legs trying not to kick to slow or too fast. She kept up with him for the most part. She smiled as she felt she was accomplishiming something but then he started to pull his hands away and she lost her nerve. "W-wait!" Chang got the impression that Kate was use to getting things on the first try. He knew all about how photographic memory. This experience would be good for her. There were certain times when she'd have to keep on trying if she wanted something. Now that she was making progress he guided her towards the deeper part of the pool. The water was about five feet deep so it came to about Chang's chest. "Now, I'm going to pull you along. I want to practice keeping your body up and kicking the water behind you." he smiled. He took her around the in small circles, but made sure that they didn't go any deeper. As she began to grow more confident Chang released her arms to see if she'd be able to keep herself up without holding onto him.

Kathrine looked at him as he encouraged her to try again. She smiled and turned around. blinking as she felt his hands slide down her sides and grabbing hold of her hips. She focused on his intructions and tried to calm herself down. She was being too anxious... After a few more failed attempts she started to get it. She went a full five minutes without slipping off the wall and was able to keep herself up...while holding the wall of course.
