Soara watched as he piked out a necklace. She smiled as he placed it around her neck. She blushedslightly at his compliment but as they were walkin away she frwned at the mention of thins getting complicated. "What do you mean by that? Things getting complicated?" She asked.

"Hmm...no?" Jann frowned. Suddenly, he spotted a pure silver necklace that had a small heart attached to the chain. "Things might be getting a little busy for me soon. We may not be able to see each other. Things are going to be...complicated." Jann explained as he took the necklace from the trader and gently placed it around Soara's neck. "I want you to take this. Its not much, but consider it a little something you can use to remind yourself of me." he smiled and once he was done, Jann took a step back back and nodded. The trader whistled and looked at Soara with a weasel like grin. "It fits her perfectly!" he exclaimed. "That it does." Jann smiled and turned to pay the trader. He then took Soara by the hand once more. He hadn't been lying when he'd said that things would get complicated.

ic: Soara curled itno his embrace needing the comfort. "Yeah I know..." she replied to his statement. Though it saddened her she decided to not let it bother ehr right now and just enjoy the time outside the castle. Spotting the trader she shrugged. "You don't have to get me anything really it's fine." she assured him.

ic: "Hmm I see..." Jann whispered softly. When he saw the that someone had actually dared to spit at her feet, he pulled Soara into his body let out a wicked hiss towards the male. Frowning, Jann guided Soara past the gates. Now that they were free from the city there was nothing but a long open dirt road ahead of him. "I'm sorry about that. This city...well...it was built for wolves. The palace is the only true place that you, your mother, or brother can walk freely. Dont worry though, as long as you're with me no one will lay a finger on you." Jann smiled and placed a soft kiss on her cheek. He had his arm around her shoulder as they walked down the road. While on the way to his spot they passed several traders. Jann stopped one who had a variety of silks, hats, and shoes. "See anything you like princess?"

Kiku helped the other tw ladies clean p the inner as she looked at her husband. Lhoney she'll be fine she can defend herself." Se assured him. At Nagis cmment Kiku nodded "so am i." She muttered taking a set of sshes into the kitchen.

The stares made Soara frown but she tried listening to Ann. "That sounds wonderful." She replied returning his kiss. When the man spit at her feetshe. Hung her head feeling like she was going to cry. At the mention of the keys se sighed "kind of...im pretty sure father has them as he has all the others." She replied.

"I'm surprised you let her go." Nagi whispered softly as she helped Anita clear the table. Yugo was leaning against the wall, his arms crossed over his chest. "What choice did I have?" he sighed deeply. Kiku was right. The more he protested Soara being with Jann the closer they'd get. Yugo wasn't about to pretend that he liked the boy though. He was tempted to send Titus to watch them, but figured that would only make the situation worse.. especially if Titus was caught snooping.

"Well your father said I couldn't take you to my club. However, he didn't say anything about not being able to take you out of the city." Jann grinned. He figured Soara only on rare occasions got out of the palace. He was sure that she had never set foot out of the city itself. "I know a nice shady spot by a river just a few miles outside the city gates. I thought it would be nice if we got out from under the eyes of your father." he smiled as he took her hand and pulled her into a soft kiss. As they headed to the gates, Soara began to receive long stares. Since she wasn't escorted by guards or wearing anything to cover her ears, it became crystal clear that she was a half breed. A few wolves turned up their noses. One spat at her feet. Jann pulled her along though until they reached the massive stone gates that defended the city. "Oh...about that thing we talked about yesterday. Were you able to find out who has the keys?"

Blushed crept onto Soaras face at his compliment. She didnt know Jann was rake number one, she knewhe was a high rank but not one. "Thanks for apologizing daddy." She said smiling at him. When sneaking out came up she frowned feeling Janns hands she took it her frown turning into a small smile.

Dinner was getting slightly more awkward as Yugo grilled Ann but Jann of course answered every question smoothly until he was asked about his futue. Soara frowned why was this not answerable? When h mentioned his fathers plans Sora frowned thinking that Jann had never made any others and jut plannd to do what his dad said. At the mention of going in the city Soara grinned "Please daddy!" She pleaded. His reply made her grin "thank you daddy!" She stood huggin him before running of wth Jann.

"So what are we going to do?" She asked excited.

"Well, I dont know if I'll ever be as smart as Soara..." Jann chuckled and looked over shooting her a wink. "However my grades are pretty good. I'm the number 1 ranked student in the entire academy. I can give you a guess who's ranked number 2." Jann smiled. Ama glared daggers at the boy. He ALWAYS found a way to make her angry no matter what time of day it was. Smiling, Jann turned his attention to Yugo. "Yes, what would you like to know about me Ogami-sama?" he asked, though there was a bit of sarcasm in his voice and Yugo picked up on it almost immediately. "Well for starters..." Yugo stated and took a moment to clear his throat. "I want to...apologize...for the rough treatment you received the other night. You must understand, this building isn't for the common people. Its MY palace. My family lives here and this is where business is conducted. You understand this right?" he asked and surprisingly in a calm manor. Jann nodded. "Good. Then I'll trust that there will be no more sneak ins right?" Yugo asked again. Jann thought for a moment and shrugged his soldiers. "Cant make any promises. Your daughter is amazing." Jann grinned and slid his hand under the table taking hold of Soara's. Yugo's dark brown eyes narrowed.

As the dinner progressed, Yugo tried his best to get Jann to slip up. The boy was good though, too good. It felt like he had rehearsed the answers for any question Yugo would throw at him. To the rest of his family though, Yugo was sure that they saw Jann as a witty charming guy with a promising future. "Alright last question." Yugo frowned. Everyone was working their way through desert now. "What do you want? What are you plans for the future?" he asked softly. "Well..." Jann began, though paused for a quick moment to think the question over. "My father has many expectations. I suppose its my duty to fulfill those." he answered. "Thats not what I asked you." Yugo smiled, his brow raised ever so slightly. "I asked, what do you want?" he stated. Jann frowned. For the first time in their conversation Yugo had him trapped and he didn't like it one bit. "Can I take your...silence as lack of ambition?" Yugo asked. "I've got plenty of that." Jann replied calmly and eyed Soara. "Dinner has been lovely. However, I was hoping to surprise Soara and take her out into the city tonight. Hope thats ok." he smiled and squeezed Soara's hand. Oh, how badly Yugo wanted to shoot him down. How badly Yugo wanted to see the boy crash and burn. Sadly, he honestly couldn't think of a 'legit' reason to refuse. "Have her back ON TIME. Also, you're to take her anywhere near the Red District or your little club. "

Soara fet awkward as Ama andJann argued "both of you stop...plase." shejust wanted a peacefuly dinner. When Nagi bga to ask questions Soara lookedat Jann feeling bad. As he answered tough she smild "hes pretty well rounded." She staed. Daichi seemed interested in th conversation as he ate after all Soara was close to a daughter as well.kiku looked up. "Hm? Yes a couple. How are your grades and such? Hope youre as smart as Soara." Shestated. Se looked at yugo "no idea get him to slip up." Kiku whispered back. "But i tink my husband hs more questions than me." She stated.

"Nice to meet you all." Jann smiled. The boy was looking pretty sharp. Nagi seemed to be impressed even if her daughter wasn't. "Hello Ama." Jann smiled. Ama rolled her eyes. "Thats Amaterasu to you. Actually, you should be addressing me Ogami-san. I dont recall giving you permission to use my first name." she spat harshly. Jann simply chuckled. Meanwhile, Yugo's right eye was still twitching. He leaned over into Kiku's ear unsure of what to do. "What now? That little punk wasn't suppose to show. I bet he came just to spite me..." Yugo whispered into his mate's ear. Titus raised a brow. His sister looked...well...really pretty. That wasn't enough to stop his quest to finally eat though. "So...can we eat NOW?" he asked. Yugo nodded and sighed. Dinner was..a little awkward after that. Nagi shifted her eyes between Yugo, Ama, and Jann and decided to get the ball rolling. "Um Jann, what do you do? I'm sure a young male like you must have a side job or something." Nagi smiled politely. "Hm yes. I spend most of my free time working for my father and doing whatever errands that he needs done. Aside from that...I do help run the club we own, but I'm hardly ever there. School and training take up allot of time too." he stated. "Where do your whores fit in?" Ama muttered, though maybe a little bit too loudly. Jann didn't seem phased though. "Haha...uh...yea...anyway, K-Kiku is there anything you'd like to ask Jann-kun?" Nagi smiled. She looked over at Daichi to make sure that he was awake. She was starting to feel a little bad for Soara.

Ic: sora hd taken all ay to pick out an outfit and do her hair admake-up for tonight. Now sianding outside the dining room she frownd sarting to doubt that Jann woul come. She could hear Amas cruel comments from in the room and shot her a glare. Just when she felt like crying and giving up he spotted Jann and grinned hugging him tightly. "I was worred you werentgoing to show." She stated. Returning his kiss befre taking the flowers. She smeled them and smiled "they smell amazng." She stated. "Nope we were waitin for you." She replied leadng him to the dning room shehnded te flowers to Anita and sat down as Jann took his spot next to her. "Daddy this is Jann, Jann this is my father and thats my mothe..." she also went on to introduced the rest of herfamily formally.

ic: The next day, as promised Yugo had asked Anita to prepare something special. The entire family was going to eat together. Titus let out a low groan as he placed his elbows on the table. "Can we eat yet?" he wined. "Hush." Nagi frowned as she took her seat next to Daichi. Everyone was there, even Ama. "He wont come. Thats the kind of person he is." she stated. "Quiet." Yugo growled. His eyes shifted down the hall where Soara was waiting. Jann was already ten minutes late. "Maybe he didn't get the invite?" Titus asked. Ama shook her head and removed a few long strands of white hair from her face. "I was there when he opened it. Serves Soara right for not taking my advise." She stated and causally shrugged her shoulders. "Thats enough you. This means allot to your cousin. You two girls need to put all this petty fighting aside. Family is everything. You should know that Ama." Nagi growled and continued to scold her daughter. Yugo let out a deep sigh. It hurt so much to see his daughter just standing there...waiting for a boy that obviously wasn't going to show. "Well...at least now she knows that I was right. Kiku, we should talk to her." Yugo whispered and rose to his feet. His right eye soon began to twitch though. There hugging Soara in the hallway was Jann! He even had flowers for her too. "Sorry I know I'm late. My dad likes to keep me plenty busy. I'm sure you know what that feels like." he smirked and placed a soft kiss on her lips. "Have you eaten yet?"

A laugh escaped Kikus lips "i cant help it as long as they are alive and safe i can stay calm." She assured him. She folloed him to their room andsighed "Not so sure about that...if he is distasteful with his choices i wont keep the opnion to myself." She stated. At the mention of Jann not coming tomorrw night she frowned. "Maybe he will and is better than you think who knows?" She said.

Soara had made sure the invitation was sent and recieved by Jann right away slightly excited he wanted her father and him to get along.

"I felt like I was gonna have a heart attack." Yugo muttered as they walked back to their room. "How the hell do you stay so calm and cool? You didn't even bat an eye when I told you that I caught her daughter getting felt up..." Yugo sighed. He always knew there would be a day when he would have deal with this kind of thing. He only wished that the day hadn't came so soon. "I wonder if you'll be this cool when Titus starts bringing females around. Knowing you though, you'll probably handle the situation better." he laughed softly. Yugo placed an arm around his mate and placed a soft kiss on her cheek. He had no doubt that Kiku was the better parent. Half the time he didn't even know what he was doing. "Kiku...that boy wont come. Its going to break Soara's heart. That bastard is going to hurt my little girl..."

soara sat up on the edge of her bd staring at her father. When he apologized she sighed "fine i forgive you...but you have no right talking to mom like that..." shemuttered. As he continued she frowned "you have no right attacking him though!" Se exclaimed still furous. She froze though as he mentioned dinner with Jann. "A...are you ssserious?" her eyes were wide in surprise. "Fine...he will be there." She replied not sure what her father was up to. Kiku looked at Yugo at the next part. "What he means is boys just want sex dont give i to them." She explained. Kissing her daughter gently before following Yugo. "Love you daddy..." Soara whispered hting their strainedrelationship. "You did good." Kiku complemented him.

Yugo let out a deep sigh. He really wasn't looking forward to this conversation, not in the least. When they got to Soara's room Yugo entered and paused to looked back at his mate. He still wasn't sure of what to say regarding Jann. "Um...well." he began as he scratched the back of his head. "First things first, I'm sorry for the conversation you heard. I was wrong, flat out. I was...angry and I took it out on your mother. Nothing I said was how I feel. I love ALL of you. Protecting you guys ins't a hassle. I just...allowed a member of my staff to get under my skin. I'm sorry Soara, honestly. You should know that I love your mother more than anyone else. You should also know that things are fine between us. No one is leaving, no one is going anywhere. Though, the two of us will be going on a vacation within a week or two." he explained and let out a small sigh. So far so good. "Now...about that boy..." Yugo growled. Why couldn't have Soara picked someone...well...anyone who was the opposite of Jann? "Tell you what." Yugo suddenly smiled. He knew that Jann was trash, but Soara didn't know that. "Since you like him so much, I think that means I should give him a chance no? Invite the boy to dinner tomorrow. We'll all sit down as a family and you can introduce him to us. I'll have Anita make something special." Yugo replied softly, though then frowned. "But Soara...no more late night visits. No boy should be seeing you that late into the night and certainly not all alone. Also...um..." Yugo mumbled and looked back at Kiku once more. It was clear that he was VERY uncomfortable. "Now...I know what I saw. You need to know that young males only want one thing. You...um...w-well...AH just dont let him touch you!" Yugo hissed and left the room. That was about the best he could regarding the topic.

Kiku frowned at his request for herto talk to Soara. "This is between you two. You never apologizeddid you?" She asked. Then sighed "tell you what..." she stood grabbing her towel. "I'll go talk to her with you. Howver you ned to try doing some of the talking." She offered. She began to get dressed and laughed at Yugos comment "you told her that? Serously? Of course she turned it down you probably scare the boys shitless first. You have to make it eem like the just found her and then pretend you ont like te that much. Not a lot but jus alittle bit of a dislik." He explained. "Lets go.." she said leading him to Soaras room knocking bfore enterng. "Your father wishes to pea ith you."

"How does this make any sense at all??" Yugo blinked and let out a defeated sigh. What had happened to Soara? Yugo could of sworn that just yesterday she was crawling up into his bed because she couldn't sleep during the night...that an Titus tended to kick his feet in random directions. "Actually...I was hoping that you could talk to her maybe? I mean, you did the whole teenage girl thing right? That boy is no good just like his father. Today proved that. He crept into the palace, saw her, and then acted like he was more then willing to fight me. I should have barbecued his cocky ass..." Yugo sighed deeply. He turned to Kiku and gently ran one of his fingers along her long silky legs. "I have no idea how to handle this. I can deal with Titus. I can deal with the training, the fighting, and even the book stuff. I cant deal with this...boy...obsession. I mean, I even told her that I had hand picked a few guys for her to go out with! She said ok, but anyone can see that she completely rejected the idea..."

Soara looked at her father a new defiance in her eyes. "Im just hanging out with him. Hes nice and i like him." He snapped. "Hes not a punk andyeah you should apologize after what you said to my mother!" She retorted. As her father wet to ttack she growled "no i wont moe you want him you go through me." Her attention turned to Jann as he spoke "i hope so..." she replied quickl kissing him before he took off. "Fine i will!" She yeled at her father storming to her room.

Kiku lookd up as Yugo entered she could tell he wasupset. "Dint go too wel i take it?" She askd raising an eybrow. Whe he evaluated she frowned. "Honey shes a teenage girl youve made a boy forbidden of course she wants him." She replied. A the mention of him being challenged she was surprised "what? Ell its Tyren's son right? Makes sense." She pointed out then sighed. "Just talk to her calmly if you can."

"Soara what the hell are you doing with this guy?!" Yugo snapped. "How did he even get inside the castle? You know what..never mind that. I came here to apologize to you and yet I find her pinned up against some wall swapping spit with some punk?" Yugo hissed. Jann let out a hearty laugh. "Soara, this is why I didn't go to your father about 'you know what'." Jann smiled. Oh, Yugo was pissed now. "You're fucking dead. I'll bury you boy!" He hissed, but couldn't really make a move since Soara was still standing in the way. "Soara, out of the way now!" Yugo commanded as he tried moving past her. Jann let out a small sigh. Most of the blood from his face had been cleaned thanks to Soara. "Perhaps I should go now. Dont worry, I'll see you again. Maybe later you can help me...and in return I can help you." he grinned and shot her a wink...and right in front of Yugo. The alpha male could feel his blood boiling. "GUARDS!" he roared out. That was Jann's signal to get the hell out of there. The young male made a dash and managed to escape from the grasp of several guards that had come running into the library. "Find him! I want that boy!" Yugo hissed out, but then paused to turn and look back at Soara. "G-Go to your room...we'll talk about this later." He frowned. Honestly, Yugo had no idea what to say to Soara now.

A few minutes later, he walked back into his bathroom to check on Kiku. He sat down next to the tub sulking. "I just...caught your daughter getting felt up by the piece of shit she meant at the club last night..." he whispered softly, his eyes completely lost on how to handle the situation. "That punk...he looked me dead in the eye and challenged me..."

Before Soara een knew what washappening she felt Ann torn away from her which frightenedher. Falling she stood and wiped her shorts off. Seeing her father beating the crap out of Jann she frowned "daddy what re you doing!? Stop this instant!" She yelled. As Jann fell to the ground she saw the bloo and gasped. She stepped inbetween the two males staring at her father. "Daddy stop it! Wbat the hell? I like Jann dont hurt him! Its not his fault." She growled. "Im growing up accept it." She turned going to Jann she took a clothe and wiped the blood from his face. "Im.so so so..sorry..." she felt terrible for this.

Soara wouldn't have to worry about stopping Jann. Yugo had entered the library searching for his daughter so he could apologize for whatever she had heard. He headed straight for her corner where he knew she often camped out. For last three seconds, Yugo had stood in the middle of the hall, his eyes wide as he watched Jann grope his little girl and her moan in the result. Yugo suddenly let out a violent roar! He rushed Jann and slammed his fist into the boy's face sending him flying through several book shelves. The blow completely caught Jann off guard. Before he could even get up Yugo was on top of him. The alpha male grabbed the boy by the neck, picked him up, and chucked him through another book shelf! "I'll fucking kill you boy!" Yugo snarled out. Blood was bleeding out from Jann's ears. His vision was blurry at best. He rose to his feet though, his brown eyes narrowed sharply. He stood in pure defiance of Yugo and took an attackers stance against him. A big mistake. Jann might have gotten off if he had submitted. Yugo cocked his head back and grunted. Was this boy really challenging him? The alpha male let out a dark hiss as he bared his curved his fangs and readied to beat the snot out of Jann

Soara was enjoying thi maybe a little too much. She fel him deepen the kiss and matched it. "Mmm..." he moanedas he bit her lower lip. Feeling his hand on hr breast she paused not sure about this advance. She likd i which was obvious as she gave another moan but she was worrid things were going too fast. She decided however to wait to ee what hppened before stopping him.

"Hmm so I was her first...father was correct." Jann thought to himself as he continued to kiss her. He pressed her body more against the wall, more against his own nicely built form. His fangs lightly nibbled on her bottom lip while his finger tips traced up along the curves of her body. Jann had to admit the sounds of her soft moans were definitely turning him on a little. The wolf had to stay focused, but little by little his mind began to slid. As he deepened their kiss, his right hand gently slid over one of her breasts groping it.

Soara noded embarassed that he foun it werd. "I jut lik it...youre the fist person ive ever kissed." She explained she returned his kiss with a grin. As he kissed her neck she bit her lip a soft moan escaped from them anyways. Feeling hi warm lips kiss her once again he deepened i as she jumpd up wrapping her legs around his waist.
