"I already explained that its for a project." Jann sighed again, though when he saw her attitude change, Jann gazed down at her with a small grin. "Well if you're not who else would be?" he asked with a small chuckle. He gently wrapped his arms around her body and placed a soft kiss on her lips. "Could it be that you dont want to be with me?" Jann asked. Of course, he already knew what her answer would be, he just felt like teasing her a little along with changing the subject.

Soara stared up at him and frowned. "I just dont get it...thats all...why would you want a unreadable bok. For all i know that book has something dangerous." She explained. When he mentioned girlfriend she raied an eyebrow. "I...i didnt know i as your girlfriend..." she stammered smiling slyly.

"Really?!" Jann exclaimed as he hugged her tightly and returned her kiss. "Elder Xing hm? Well you and I will work something out. I'm sure we'll be able to get it." he smiled, though frowned when she brought up why he wanted it again. "Soara...you've asked me that how many times? When are you going to be satisfied?" Jann asked and released her from the hug. "I only asked you to do one thing. You're not getting into trouble and no one is getting hurt. I dont understand why you continue to ask me the same questions over and over again." Jann sighed deeply. It was clear that he wasn't happy with her at the moment. "You know...I think that my girlfriend should have a little more trust in me dont you think?"

Soara recievedhis note andsmiled. At lunch he headed straight for th roof. Entering on the roof she lookedat him befoe rnning over and hugging him. Then she gave him a soft kiss on the lips. "So i got one key for the book and i know where the othr is. I hve a apointment scheduled with the elder but i dont know if i will work. I still dont get why you want it...you cant even read it."

The next day, Jann had managed to sneak into Soara's school during lunch time. After receiving her note, he had left a note of his own in her locker telling her to meet him on the roof during lunch. The young male stood on the rooftop looking down upon the student below. "I really hope she worked something out. Dad is getting impatient..." he thought to himself. There was allot riding on his actions and Jann was starting to feel the heat.

Soara shrugged "not sure whenever i et in i guess." She sighed knowing this way coul take awhile. "Guess i'll go schedule a meeting then." She stated before headin out the door. Setting up the meeting she went to her room excited to tell Jann that she had finally fiured ou how to handle the book.

"You're welcome hun." Nagi smiled and returned the hug. Nagi had no idea what the contents of the book were. It had been locked away for that very reason. Soara's great grandfather hadn't been able to translate it and so figured that it was best kept in a safe place as a precaution. There weren't that many written books left over from the times of the ancients. The leader of the time couldn't risk harm befalling his tribe. "So, when you will see Elder Xing? He's a busy old wolf you know." Nagi stated. Titus let out a yawn and rose to his feet. His level of interest in the topic had just dropped to 0. "I'm out of here. Only sis would get all crazy over a book." He groaned. A sly grin suddenly formed on Nagi's lips as she eyed her young nephew. "Hey Titus, when are you going to start becoming interested in girls hm? At this rate Soara, your 'little' sister, will become an adult before you." Nagi teased. Titus spun around, his face a deep shade of red. "I-I dont need girls! They're weird and smell funny!" he roared. Nagi let out a hard laugh. Tears nearly rolled down from her eyes. "So in other words, you intend to stay a child?" she grinned. It was hard to stop laughing and if there was one thing Titus hated it was being laughed at. The young half breed turned on his heels and stormed out the room. "I dont need girls! Besides, I could get a girl friend if I really wanted one. I choose to be single damnit!"

Soara lookd at her father curious as to how he would answer. As he began to ant she frowned "dad i know but im curious why it i locked up so tightly." She asked. Whe the guard entered she frowned. Then went oer to Agi. "So what do you hink it says? You dont think its dangerous do you?" She asked. Standing se took out the key and tucked it into her pocet. When she spoke of theelder she figured Jann could help her with that part."thak you auntie." She hugged Nagi.

Yugo frowned, but accepted Soara's hug. It was going to take a couple hundred years for him to get use to his little girl dating other males. When Soara brought up the 'book' Yugo raised his brow. Nagi seemed a little interested too. After hearing her explanation, Yugo let out a deep groan. He pressed his palms against his hand and slowly shook his head. "How many times have I told you to stay out of that room? Just because you've ready every damn book in the library doesn't mean that you can just go inside that room whenever you want." Yugo stated. He stood up straight now. He knew exactly which book she was referring to. "That book is-" he was about to explain when suddenly a messenger walked into his room. "Yugo-sama, your attention ins needed in the throne room." the young boy announced. "Now what?!" Yugo spat. As usual, his attention quickly shifted to the matters of the kingdom. Nagi sighed softly and after watching her brother leave, she signaled Soara to join her on the bed.

"Dont take it personally. You know how he gets wrapped up with business." she smiled. "Yes that book, well...if my memory is correct...its been locked in that room since the time of your great grandfather. I'm sure you know that Muguni Ogami was the demon who drew the lines for our territory. Naturally, back then our land was ten times smaller." Nagi stated and took a moment to clear her throat. "That book, no one knows what the insides contain. Its written in the language of the ancients from a time when we demons roamed as phantom spirits. For all we know...it could be a cook book." Nagi shrugged. "A cook book?" Titus blinked. Nagi gave the boy a nod. "If you wanna get the lock open you'll need two keys. Nii-sama has one." she smiled and pointed to her brother's bottom left dresser. "Its the rusted black one. He might not approve..but I've always been a little curious. As for the other key...well...." Nagi trailed off. Her eyes shifted to the side for a moment before coming back to Soara. "The only other person who would have the key is Elder Xing Sho. He is the leader of the Council. He doesn't oppose your father, but he doesn't support him either. You're going to have to come up with something creative if you want to get the key from that old fart."

Soara smiled as se waked ith heraunt. Nagi comment made her blush. "He is..." she replied softly. When she kept going Soaras face grew redder. "I know Aunt Agi." She was gettn embrassed. Entering the palce she looked at her father. "Dad im fine. Im srry we were technically back on time." She pinted out. She gave her father a hug."thanks for letting m go dad." She smiled. "Now that im bck though dad i anted to ask you about this book..." she decided to deal with his book thing now befoe she forgot.
"See shes fine." Kiku laughed and walked off.

"Yeah, soon." Jann smiled. With any luck, Soara would give getting the book he needed an honest try. Sighing softly, Nagi ran her hand over her bulging baby bumped. Her feet were killing her but she hated having to sit down for too long. "He looks like a good kisser." Nagi smirked and looked back at her niece with a small grin. It may have been Yugo's job to freak out, but Nagi was just Soara's aunt so she could tease her niece a little. "He looks strong and handsome too. I could see those abs of his through his shirt. If I didn't have Daichi, I would maybe steal him from you." Nagi laughed softly, she was on joking though. "No no I'm kidding. I've never been...well...boy crazy. Nii-sama tried to marry me off a years before I met Daichi and well...lets just say I was single again after like two days." she smiled softly.

When they got back to the room, Nagi opened the door and motioned Soara to enter. Yugo looked up, his eyes wide. He rushed over to his daughter and gave her a very thorough...and perhaps slightly embarrassing once over. "You're a minute late." he growled and crossed his arms over his chest. "Nii-sama she was just saying goodbye." Nagi replied softly as she took a seat by her nephew and ruffled his hair. Titus let out a low grown. It took allot of laying around the palace to get his hair exactly how he wanted it.

Kiku sighed "Calm down one minute late won't kill you." she stated. Hearing Nagi she looked up and smiled. "That sounds like a good idea." she replied watching Nagi leave the room. "Yugo honey calm down she's fine." she assured her husband.

Soara felt the cool bars of the gate pressing into her back but it didn't bother her as he continued to kiss her. Feeling him bite her bottom lip she gave a soft moan as he pulled back. Hearing his compliment she blushed "Thanks...that's what I get for being a half breed." she replied. As he stroked her tail she smiled but froze as she heard the cough. She turned seeing Nagi and blushed embarrassed. "Right...um bye Jann thanks for everything." she stated hugging him tightly. "See you soon?" she asked more than stated. Before slipping through the gate.

"But its time!" Yugo exclaimed as he pointed to his watch. "Whats going on?" Nagi blinked as she peeked inside. She had caught the scent of burning floor tiles from all the way down the hall. "Dad is going crazy..." Titus explained. Nagi let out a small chuckle. "Nii-sama you've got to relax. Soara is a good kid. I mean, at least you dont have to worry about her flirting with the guards everyday..." Nagi sighed. Yugo stopped dead in his tracks, his brow raised. "She's been flirting with the guards?!" he grunted. Nagi pressed her palm to her head and let out a deep sigh. "Tell you what, why dont I go check the gates hm? She's probably just saying goodbye." the pregnant female replied softly. Yugo gave her a nervous nod

Jann moaned softly against her lips. He had her entire body pressed into the gates. Technically, he had returned her on time, she just hadn't entered the palace yet. A small grin formed on his lips as he nipped her bottom one and pulled back some. "Did I ever tell you that I love your lips? They give off this mixed sensation of heat and coolness. I love it." Jann grinned as one of his hands move down to gently stroke her tail. Suddenly, there was a hard cough from behind the gates. Nagi stood there, her eyes on both of the kids. "Hate to break this up, but if she doesn't come in side her father is going to go crazy...literally..." Nagi sighed and ordered one of the near by guards to open the gate. "Say your last goodbyes Soara."

Kiku sighed as she saw that her husband was still pacing int he same spot burning a hole in the floor. "Yugo please stop pacing. Or at leastpace somewhere else and stop burning a hole in the floor." she requested.

Soara looked up at her home the castle was defenitly bigger than most people's homes but that didn't mean it was better all the time. She stopped as Jann looked at his watch a sly smile coming to her lips at his words. As he kissed her with his hand wrapped his arms around her waist she smiled returning his kisses as she wrapped her arms around his neck deepening the kiss.

Yugo was pacing back and forth inside his room. His feet had built up so much static that he had literally burned a hole in the floor. "Where is that boy? I swear...if he so much as lays a finger on Soara..." Yugo grumbled. Titus stared at his father with lazy eyes. "....why...exactly am I here???" he blinked. Yugo stopped pacing. Soara still had a good two minutes, not that Yugo noticed. "I may have to send you after her. If so, you have my permission to rip that boy apart!" Yugo grunted. Titus sat up wide eyed and raised his hands in defense. "Hey, I like a challenge as much as the next guy, but he's in Ama's grade isn't he? Plus, he's older. Besides I doubt I could get a hit in without Soara scratching my eyes out.." titus huffed. Yugo let out an annoyed snarl.

Meanwhile, the couple had just reached the palace. Jann stood just outside the gates and looked down at his watch. "We made it with 60 seconds to spare. Hmm now how should we use our remaining time hmmm?" Jann grinned as he leaned in and gently nipped her lips. His fingers slyly moved up along her waist as he pressed her back into the gate.

Soara wasnt sure if ahe believed him or not. "I still.dont.see.why your teacher wants a forbidden book. but i'll try no guarentee though." she clarified. Taking the strawberry in her mouth soara made a mental note to ask her father what was in the book firat before takjjg it. But for now she focused on enjoying.her time with Jann.

"I told you why. I mean, do you honestly think your father would believe if I just walked up to him, explained the situation, and asked for the book?" Jann blinked. He sensed her tension, yet his own voice remained perfectly calm. "I'm not asking for a major favor, just that you try, thats all." he replied softly and grabbed a chocolate cover strawberry from the basket. He smiled up at Soara as he placed the sweet treat up to her lips.

Soara frowned not sure sheliked the iea of her mother pregnant. She pused hpwever as he spoke. Again he addressed the book and it was starting to annoy her slightly. "Why do you want it s bad? Its a little weird u want a locked up forbidden book dont you think?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "If i get it will you drop it? I can try ut no promises."

"You dont know??" Jann blinked and let out a small laugh. He reached up thumping Kiku on the nose. "Well I could be wrong, but when I met your mom I could have sworn that I picked up two scents coming from her body. Maybe it was all in my head though." Jann stated with a small shrug of his shoulders. It seemed like Soara loved her current life. It made Jann almost feel bad about the fact that he would bring her entire world crashing down around her. "Hey, about that book.." Jann mumbled and turned his face so his warm lips gently pressed against one of her legs. "Do you think you'd be able to get it for me? I'd bring it right back you know."

Soara laughed as he nippled on her fingers. Looking down at him she sighed not sure how to answer the questions. She wasnt offended as it was normal questions she expected. "Well...i dont know the securty is annoying but i like living in the palace and learning everything i et o. When i imagine my father not ruling i seethe nation in chaos. I know people dont like him but he tres his best and i think he handled the war very wel we won didnt we? People focus too much on his personal life ad not enough on what hes done for our country." She finished. "Yes my mother could technically lead but s you said it wouldnt be accepted....wht do you mean ses pregnant?!"

"You're welcome. I figured that you dont get out much." Jann smiled and nipped her finger tips while taking the mint she had offered. It was a perfect day. The sun was shining down brightly, a light breeze was blowing, and Jann and Soara were far away from the eyes of the capital. "Hey...let me ask you something." Jann whispered. He smiled as and moved back some so he could lay his head down on her lap. "Do you enjoy being a princess? I mean, you're always caged up in the palace right? Have you ever considered what life would be like if say...you're family wasn't in charge?" he asked softly. Jann closed his eyes. He knew that he had no business having this kind of conversation with Soara. "I mean...only your dad can lead right? Your mom technically can, but I doubt the elder's will approve since she's younger then your father...and pregnant it seems."

Soara followedhim o the shady spot and smiled. She ejoyed the sound of the river as it rushed by. Sittin next to the basket she laughedas Jann pulled her coser. "Mmm...i do enjoy sweets." She agreed. Taking a chocolate cvered mint she poppedit into her mouth before bringng one to Janns lips. "Thank you."

When they got to the shady spot by the river Jann had described, waiting for them was a large basket and some white wine Jann had gotten from home. He smiled as he pulled Soara over to the blanket and sat down. "Now, I know we just ate, but I figured a girl like you has to love sweets right?" he smiled and reached into the basket. He didn't know what Soara's favorites were, so he had brought a little bit of everything from candy, dark chocolate, and even small chocolate covered mints.

Soarafrowned "not realy...i mea i do what he asks and i tr to please him but i still make time for things i want." She stated. "I guess hes only said he was diappointed once though." As he hugged her she sighed. "My fathers tol him no you know." She pointed out before rturning the kiss. "No i guess we didnt." She agreed.

ic: "Oh...you know how it goes right? I'm sure your own father has certain expectations of you right? If you dont fulfill them, he tells you that he's disappointed right?" Jann frowned, though continued to hold Soara's hand, just a little tighter now. "I'm afraid thats best picture I can paint. My old man is pretty demanding. He gets whatever he wants. No one, not even I can tell him no." he stated softly. Suddenly, Jann pulled Soara close into his side and pressed his warm lips firmly against her own. "But thats enough about parents. We didn't come all the way out here to talk about them now did we??"
