Fire & Ice II: Age of Rebirth(private/mature/continued)

Yugo let out a small sigh. He knew that even if it was only for a few weeks sending Titus away would probably break Kiku's heart. Yugo didn't want to do it either. However, he would rather send his son away then to have him killed later. "My temper isn't that bad. Nagi's is ten times worse." he mumbled and wrapped his arms around his mate. He pressed his warm lips against her own, returning her kiss. "We'll talk to him. We'll make him aware of whats at stake. Titus's fate is in his own hands. If he ends up leaving, it will be his own fault. Its high time he did some growing up." Yugo replied softly before shifting his eyes around the kitchen. "Now, lets go fine our son and have our talk. While we're at it...we really need to talk to Soara about her clothes..."

Nagi blinked and took a step back. Daichi had never pushed her hands aside before. It startled her a little. She stared at him wide eyed. Had his father filled his head with nonsense? Suddenly, a small growl left her lips. She walked right up to Daichi baring her fangs. "What are you talking about? No you're not a toy. You're the fucking father of my children you dumbass!" she hissed. How dare Daichi ask her such a thing! When he brought up the fact that he had no power Nagi sighed and pressed her palm against her head. "You know damn well that Nii-sama has been trying. He was JUST accepted as rightful Alpha. If he's just been accepted do you really think that the council would hand you a position before that? Daichi...do even realize how long its taken for us feel comfortable allowing Ama just to walk around the castle? " Nagi frowned. Suddenly, her hands came to rest over her belly. She had to calm down and began to take slow breaths. "So you think you've got nothing huh?" she whispered and now set on the bed. Tears threatened to spill from her golden hues. "Thats funny. I mean...you've got a daughter who adores you, another on the way, and...a mate...who loves you more then anyone else...more then her own brother. But, I guess that means nothing to you. I guess in the end all you care about is power. You're not satisfied with the love of your family are you ya FUCKING JERK!!!!" Nagi screamed and grabbed the closet thing in her reach...which was a lamp...and chucked right at Daichi's head!

At that moment, Yugo and Kiku were walking past their room. Hearing the yelling, Yugo walked in and blinked twice. "What the hell is going on??"

Kiku sighed she had no idea wha their options even were at this point. "Well you know he inheirited your temper. And your attitude so how do you deal with itm just try reasoning with him and if it doesn't work then we will talk about it okay? Just please don't send my baby away." She pleaded kissing him gently.

Daichi dint even look at Nagi as she entered the room. "It produced some things..." he growled. He stodd pushing her hand away. "Am I nothing more than a pet to you? A toy always listening? I've been here for years listened stayed in line and I get nothing! I gave up a kingdom for this and I have no power over anything. You haven't even tried to get me involved."

"Hey I dont want this any more then you do, but I've asked you twice for your thoughts and have gotten nothing. You dont know what its like to grow up in a wolf tribe. There is NO room for Titus's attitude. If we dont do something about it now, it WILL get him killed later." Yugo explained before shifting his eyes across the kitchen. He could of sworn that he heard a door slam. Nagi heard it as well and decided to check it out. "Anyway...this is a last resort. Unless you've got any other ideas we wont have much of a choice. Either our son changes...and I mean right fucking now...or he'll be sent off to the west."

"Hun?" Nagi whispered as she slowly opened the door. When she saw Daichi, Nagi walked up to him as fast as she could and gently ran her finger tips along his cheeks. "Baby whats wrong? I take it the talk with your father didn't produce any results?"

Kiku stared at Yugo in disbelief at his suggestion. "No way in hell areyou sendng my son away! Are you crazy?!" She exclaimed. Theidea of titus being away scared her more than anything else. "Find another option no way are you sending my baby off!"

storming into his room Daichi growled slamming the dor behind him. He was beyond pissed at this point. He slammed his fist into a wall leaving a dent. "Some pet yeah right. Nagi doesn't think of me like tha....does she?" Daichi put his face in his hands in frustration.

"So, what would you have me do?" Yugo asked again, his eyes narrowing slightly before shifting off to the side. "Maybe he needs to spend a little time out in the field. I know a guy who's commander of an outpost along our western border. The land is mountainous, cold, and unforgiving. Sending Titus there for a few weeks would surely change his attitude if not better it." Yugo stated and slowly began to stroke his chin. He didn't want to send Titus away, but at this point he was out of options. Another issue was Titus's temper. It needed some serious work. "So, what do you think? I can contact the commander and ask if he has any space in his squad. If the cold doesn't kill our son's attitude problem, the commander will."

Kiku sighed following him into the kichen. "I don't know. Yes his attitude needs to change but address that too not just tonight as he is truey sorry bout tonight." Se assured him. At this point she didn't know what to say he had a point this wasn't their sons first outburst.

Gripping the bars Daichi growled. "You better shut your god damn mouth! She's not a bitc and I'm no ones pet!" He yelled holding himself back from the urge to beat the sit out of his father. "You disgust me." He spat before storkming out of the dungeons he was on complete edge.

"Is that enough? I'm sick of his attitude." Yugo growled. He leaned up against the door that led into the kitchen and crossed his arms over his chest. "That boy has no respect. If he had issues with the celebration, he should have brought them to my attention at another time. Yet, he decided to do so during dinner...and in front of everyone." Yugo stated. Personally, he sometimes felt that Kiku was a little too soft on Titus sometimes. Then again, anyone could argue that he was that way towards Soara...which was true. "So how do you suggest I handle him? An outburst like that needs to be dealt with. If he cant hold his tongue among his family, how we he deal with other wolves?"

The old king let out a hearty laugh. He may have been a cold bastard, but he knew Daichi well. "Right, I'm sure." he smiled and shook his head once more. Suddenly, his laughing died down completely. "Leave me. The scent of that bitch is all over you and its irritating my allergies. Dont show your face to me again. I have no desire to see you or your sister. Both of you are nothing more then pets. Inside, you know this to be true. You'll never be anything more..."

Soara left the table heading out to walk around town. O course she was smart nough to sneak out and ditch the normal guards that escorted her around. She had made sure to put a hat on as well to cver her neko ears. Looking around she smiled enjoying watching people go around and interact with one and other.

"Take it a little easy please he understands what he did wrong and feels bad." Kiku explained to her husband as she had promised her son that she would.

Daichi narrowed his eyes at his father "I know plenty about love I wouldn't be here if it weren't for love." He retorted. As his father continued to speak h frowned. He was rigt of course but Daichi had always assumed that it was best. But now that he thought about it the situation wast fair. "You were dead to us long ago when you started abusing Kiku and treating us like shit before we hd done anythin! You don't deserve any honor."

After the dinner, Ama began to help her mother clean up and bring all the dishes back into the kitchen. Nagi's golden eyes shifted over towards the broken table...her broken table. "God damnit..." she mumbled. Ama smiled happily and gave her a mother a gentle pat on the back. "Its ok mom. We can always go shopping for another one." she smiled. "Yeah...but it took me three hours just to pick this one. Your father wasn't happy..." she sighed deeply while shaking her head. Meanwhile, Yugo was ready to have his 'talk' with Titus. However, by the time the alpha looked around Titus was long gone. "Where the hell did your son go?" Yugo blinked and let out a small growl. "If he thinks that he's off the hook he's sadly mistaken. His actions were inexcusable today."

"What do you know of love?" his father mumbled before turning his back to Daichi once more. "You know nothing of it. You were corrupted by the bitch and are still under her spell. Look at you. You're nothing more then a house cat, a pet to her. I knew I should have had her killed after she was captured. I was a fool to place her in your hands..." the old king sighed softly. He closed his tired eyes and leaned his head against the cool cell wall. "Let me ask you this. Its been a few years right? Has that wolf alpha given you any sort of authority? You're his brother in law right? Do you have any sort of power or influence? I'm guessing you dont. As a matter of fact, I'm guessing not even your own mate has requested you be given authority. No...you simply sit on your ass like a good pet and wait for your master to return. How sickening. You and your sister are dead to me and will forever be nothing more then a disappointment. Whats even more heart breaking is that rather then allowing me to die with some honor...you keep me caged up...under the city of my greatest enemy..."

Soara frowned "all I wanted was an apologie." She explained. She sighed grabbing a glass as her parents did accept with juice. Kiku lightly kissed her husbands cheek as she took the glass and toasted.
His fathers words really pised daichi off. "Shut up!" Heyelled. Gripping the cell bars he growled. "Maybe if you wouldn't have turned into such an ass aftermom died this wouldn't have happened!" He hissed. "After she died you acted like e didn't even exsist!"

"No matter what Ti-chan does, as his sister, you need to forgive him." Ama smiled happily. Titus let out a deep sigh and hung his head. "Seriously...when are you going to stop calling me that?" he mumbled. Ama had been using the nickname ever since he was a baby. As a matter of fact, she had a nickname for just about everyone inside the castle. "Alright everyone. Lets all have a toast now." Yugo smiled as he handed Kiku a glass of wine. Titus tried to take one, but after receiving an intense glare from his father, he grabbed a glass of juice instead. "To the future everyone!"

"Ha, you're such a fool..." The old King spat. He lazily shifted his gaze over towards Daichi. His white beard had grown so much that it reached his mid chest. "You have no power over my life. You're nothing more then a sell out. All the power rest with that flee bag alpha who 'spared' me and that cunt you dared to mix blood with." His father hissed bitterly. "How dare you show your face to me. You and that slut you call a sister have defied our bloodline. Whats left of our kingdom is in shambles. Its all your fault. May our ancestors curse you and your abomination like offspring for the rest of your miserable lives..."

When Titus let up Soara calmed down alittle but ofcourse Ama kept right at it. "Stop" she begged until her cousin finally released her. Standing she sat back in her chair catching her breath. "What kind of leson?" Sheasked inbetween breaths.

Daichi narrowed his eyes at his father. "I wuldnt be talking like that since I can technicaly have you killed." He hissed. "I'm not traitor I saved an innocent life and if it weren't for her I wouldn't even be down here."

"We sure did." Yugo smiled and licked her cheek. Nagi nodded and returned Daichi's kiss. "Love you too hun. Do try to talk things out." she replied softly. Meanwhile, Titus had stopped tickling Soara, but Ama hadn't. She had a sick smile on her lips. She enjoyed seeing Soara squirm. Her little cousin was just too adorable! Finally, Ama released Soara. She let out a soft giggle and licked her cousin's cheek. "Let this be a lesson to you Soa-chan." she smiled happily as her tail wagged behind her.

Meanwhile, Daichi's father sat back in his cell. He was being fed and given water, but besides that had been left to rot. "Well...if it isn't the weakest of my offspring. What does a betrayer want with me?" the old king grumbled as his ears flattened against his head. He hadn't even bothered to turn to face Daichi.

"O!!!!okay just stop!" She begged. She didt care at this point if she hd to forgive him the tears from laughter ajnd shortness of breath were too much.kiku looked at her husband and grinned "you know we raised some good kids." She stated with a grin.
Daichi looked at ama and laughed. Then looking at Nagi he frowned. "I should go get that task done in the dungeon. As much as I don't want to visit him I should eventually." He said kising her lightly. "Love you." He whispered then turn and headed into the dungeons to see his father. Hbe wasn't hard to spot as Daichi approached the bars. "Long time no see huh?" He asked him.

"~No way Soa-chan. You've got to forgive Titus first. I mean completely~" Ama chimed. Meanwhile, Titus dodged her feet and continued his assault on his sister. Yugo laughed softly. It brought back memories of when Yugo would pin Kiku to bed and tickle her until she begged for mercy. Oddly, most of time his attacks led straight the sex. The though caused his cheeks to turn a very dim shade of red. He wrapped one of his arms around Kiku's waste and pressed his arm lips against her cheek.

When Ama atcked as well Soara was helpless falling to the ground as she was pinned. "Stop! Oh god stop!" She yellled between laughs. She was kicking everywhere trying to et her attackers off. Kiku chuckled at the three as he daughter desperatly to escape. "Titus stop!" Soara yelled "come on Ama!" She yelled at the two.

"Tickle attack!!!" Ama suddenly screamed as he pounced right on top of Soara! Yugo blinked twice and got up from the table. Ama had pinned Soara's arms so she couldn't move. Titus continued to tickle her sides while Ama tickled under her arms. Nagi blinked and shifted her gaze over towards the twins and her daughter. A warm smiled formed on her lips. This was how family was suppose to be. Family wasn't suppose to fight among each other. They were suppose to laugh, play, and enjoy each other's company. A small smile formed on Yugo's lips. He was still mad at his son, but for now, he was more concerned with having a good time.

Soarqa heardhim spea as herears perked slighly. She snorted as that was all he asumed she was mad about when it was only one of them. She was pretty over him calling her ugly by now. Feelings the wed she surpressed a laugh but when he persisted she jumped hitting her knee against the table. "Ow!" She yeled between laughs. Rubbing her lg in pain.

"Hey..." Titus mumbled. It was never hard to tell when he was being ignored by his baby sister. He couldn't stand it. IT was perhaps the easiest way to piss him off. "How long are you going to ignore me? Look...I'm sorry ok. I just didn't see the point of celebrating, but mom cleared a few things up." he whispered while the adults were busy talking. Titus's eyes narrowed. If she was going to continue to ignore him, he'd pull out his trump card. Titus looked around. He found a small bushy weed and grabbed it. He then began to tickle Soara along her sides, one her biggest weakness.

Soara looked at her brother as sat dwn next to her. Her greeting wasn't friendly like Amas in act she ignored him all together. Still mad about everything else that had happened between them. Gving him the cold shoulder she turned towards her father.
Seeing her daughters reaction Kiku sighed. Fixing things with Soara would have to be Tius' job. She knew Soara didn't mind bein mesed with but Titus took it to far sometimes.

Titus nodded and followed his mother outside towards the garden. At the sight of him, Yugo frowned but said nothing. Nagi quickly recaptured his attention. She was busy talking about how she couldn't wait to have the baby. She missed her girlish figure. Also, she was sick of being so big that she couldn't even see her feet. Titus quietly sat down beside Soara. Ama smiled and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck making him blush a little.

It was clear that Titus had a better understanding of he situation. Sh looked at him and sighd. "Your father is a tough case. I'll do my best but no guarentees. Okay?" She asked ith a smile. "First though come back to dinner." She turned and headed back downstairs.
Soara saw her motherf reeneter the garde nd knew that Titus was on good terms with her.

"I guess..."Titus mumbled softly as his brown eyes shifted towards his mother. Maybe now he had a better understand. "S-So...just how much trouble am I in this time?" Titus asked, his voice shaking slightly. Yugo had gone as far as to break the kitchen table in two...that couldn't have been a good sign. "IS there any chance you can maybe talk to dad for me?"

Kiku sighed she understood her sons confusuion as she too had expierenced it when he first became pregnant with the twins. "Titus...we aren't celebrating that. We are celebrating tat your fatyher has finally obtained what he's alwas worked for his rightful place. Think of it like this Daichi will probably never gt to take the neko throne as much as he wants.your father thouh through it all has achieed this. Just elebrate hat." She said.

"Mom...I dont understand how you can have so much faith that things are going to be ok. I mean...no...I dont want dad to mate with someone else, b-but I just dont see Soara or I ever being able to take over when we need to." Titus replied softly. He could easily read the disappointment within Kiku's eyes and in made him feel like crap. "I'm not trying to push everyone away...I just...dont really see the point in celebrating when not much has changed." he whispered
