You Can't Save Me ((Yugo,Mature))

Kathrine was about to go into more detail when his phone rang. She crossed her arms while staring at him in dis-belief. When he hung up and asked what they were talking about she turned onto her side, facing away from him. "I think you should leave...." She said, she was straining her voice to keep herself from yelling...or crying...she couldnt tell which at the moment

"Just what is that suppose to mean?" Shen asked, his eyes narrowing a bit. She had called him dense before now that he thought about it. After she gave her example, Shen thought it over. "Well...thats kinda hard because you never do really." He stated. Suddenly, his phone rang and Shen picked up. The sound of woman's voice came blaring through the speakers. "~Sheeeeeeeen I'm starving! Where are yooooooou?~" Himiko whined. Shen pressed his hand against his head. "You just realized I was gone? I used your car just the other day..." Shen sighed while shaking his head. "Listen, I wont be back for a while. You'll have to take care of breakfast yourself. Also, be sure to brush your hair before you leave." be stated before hanging up and leaning back against the bed again. "Sorry, what were we talking about???" he asked while looking up at Kate

"You know....your density...is rather amazing..." She sighed, rubbing her head. "Okay, imagine it were me walking around the house, in nothing but my underwear....what would your reaction be..." She asked looking at him, her tone calmer....she was trying to not blow up...when it was her who kicked him out of her dorm room

Shen blinked twice...and then again. Kate's sudden 'anger' was unexpected. "Why are you so mad?" Shen blinked again while tilting his head to the side, as if he hadn't a clue. "I recall telling you that I'd be living with a women and you blowing it off." he stated softly. Tho, when Kate mentioned Himiko's reasons for walking around in her underware, he paused and thought for a moment. "Hm...I dont know...I dont think I'm being hit on. I mean, i do all the cleaning, cooking, and pretty much everything else...no...I'm sure I'm not being hit on. I'd know if I were." Shen stated, tho recent history would argue otherwise.

Kathrine's body instantly tensed. "Your....loving with a women...who walks around...in her under wear....and thought that was okay.....seriously Shen!" She yelled, her heart rate picking up. "You wonder why...hm, maybe to get you attention to join her in bed!" She growled

Shen closed his phone. His boss wasn't happy, but there was nothing he could do about it. "Himiko." he stated while sitting back. "I swear..all that girl is good for is walking around in her underware." Shen sighed. He recalled the frightful encounter between his roomate and mother. "All day long...she eats, sleeps, and walks around nearly naked...I have no idea why...":

"A dress?" She asked. She had always hated dresses...."Maybe a...nice nightgown.... of some sort" She said while sending Jazz another test. She blinked picking up on Shen's frustrated sigh. "What abou a girl being knocked out?" She asked confused

Shen's eyes shifted over her cast. Not bathing would be a 'minor' problem. "Well..I could always ask one of the nurses to give you a sponge bath, or I could do it if you want. After that we can get you into some clean clothes, maybe a long dress or something that can go over your head and easily be taken off should your doctor need to check on you." Shen advised before digging into his own phone. He dialed Himiko's number. As usual, she neglected to answer. "Damn girl is probably still knocked out.." he sighed and decided to dial the number to the hospital instead.

"I will...oh crap...." She growled and looked at her leg. "I dont get to take baths...." She whined and put her hand on her head. "Ugh....I feel fine, but having a cast...is going to suck" She said as she sat up to let him get up from the bed. She reached over to the tray table and grabbed her phone, sending a text to Jazz about some clothes. "Ugggh!....I cant wear any of my pants" She growled in realization.

"Good morning." Shen smiled. He leaned in giving her a small kiss before checking her pulse. It seemed normal. Her vitals were looking good as well. "You should probably call Jazz and ask her to bring you some clothes so you can shower. At the very least, you'll be here for a few more days while the doctors run tests on you. Hm I also need to call in to work...perhaps Himiko can take care of that.." Shen stated, but muttered the last part. He probably have to sell his soul again if he wanted a favor from the girl. "So, how are you feeling? You were given a high dosage of pain medication for your leg."

Kathrine remained asleep up until she felt Shen moving. Being on a small hospital bed with two people made sleeping comfortably...a little hard. She had woken up a couple of times through out the night due to the nurses coming in and checking on her. She kept getting annoyed and growled at one of them that Shen was a doctor and if anything was needed in the night he'd take care of it. "Morning" She said while glancing up at him and rubbed her eyes

Shen laid back. The two of them weren't going anywhere for the rest of the night. As he closed his eyes, he slid his hand down over Kate's head, stroking it lightly. He had missed this too, the closeness that they had once shared. When morning came, Shen was awakened by the sound of a nurse walking out of the room. Shen sat up and rubbed his eyes before gazing down at Kate. To his knowledge, she hadn't had any nightmares. Maybe she was finally getting some actual sleep

Kathrine rolled her eyes but hid her red face against his chest. She relaxed against him once more. Within ten minutes she fell asleep against him as she always had a year ago. She missed this. She had loved the security that came with sleeping against Shen

"Thats what I'm here for tho..." Shen whispered softly. "Besides, its not often that I've got to see you blush. I love it." he laughed while poking one of her cheeks. "Things are going to be ok for the both of us..er..three of us I mean." he smiled. His right hand came to down and gently ran over her stomach. "You'll see." Shen smiled. He couldn't tell her, but he planned on finally giving into his father. It was the only way they'd be able to afford to care Kate and the baby would need. Also...perhaps it was time for Shen to wake up from his dreams. Perhaps..it was time for him to be more responsible. He loved working as a doctor, but at the moment...he had other priorities...

Kathrine blinked as he tilted her head up toward him she relaxed against his kiss. She looked up at him with a soft blush. She hdnt been so shy and flustered in so long. 'I don't want to pass of my troubles to you...." she said. She smiled and nuzzled into him. 'Thank you though" she said

"You know..." Shen whispered as he gently turned her head back so she was facing him. "It's ok for you to feel that way. I know that...I haven't exactly been reliable, but I'm here now and will continue to be there for you." Shen replied softly. He leaned forward and placed another gentle kiss on her lips. "So feel free to depend on me Kate."

Kathrine wrapped an arm around him as he climbed back into the bed. She looked up at him and looked away blushing. "Sorry...."She said and ran a hand through her hair. "I hate feeling so weak..." She said with a slow sigh. "But...thanks for staying with me..." She said softly

Shen paused and slowly turned around. "Katherine?" he blinked. He could hear it in her voice...she was still terrified of being left alone. He couldn't blame her. Shen had only rescued her just a few hours ago. With a soft smile, shen walked back towards her bed. He slid in right next to her and wrapped his arms securely around her body. "I'm here." he whispered, his lips lightly grazing her own. "I'm not going anywhere."

Kathrine smiled as he promised and blinked as shifted and got up from the bed, "please" She said, her voice timid seeing he was about to leave. "Please...dont leave..." she said. "I dont...want to be alone" She said while looking off to the side, her bangs falling over her eyes

"You'll have it." Shen promised. Actually, Kate would probably have more space than what she needed. Although Shen was committed to raising her health level working at the hospital would demand the majority of his time. Also, if they were going to live in his parent's pent house he would have to drive a good two hours just to get to work. "A month is too long..." Shen muttered to himself and rose from the bed. "I'll be back. I need to talk to my father again. For this to work...I need to speak with him directly as soon as possible."

"I dont know..." She sighed and she laid her head down on his chest. As he mentioned that this topic wouldnt be negotiable. She let out another sigh. "Alright...But you have to promise to give me my space when I want it" She said and lifted her head and looked at him once again, her violet hues locking with his brown ones. "Promise?" She asked

Shen blinked and sat up a bit. There seemed to have been a misunderstanding between them. "Well...I'm happy that you're willing to work past our issues. I am too." Shen replied softly. "However...thats not why I want you to move in with me. Your uncle is still on the loose. That is my primary concern. There's no telling what he'll do. Second, it doesn't make sense for me to be an hour away from you. I need to be close in case you need to go to the doctor or for anything else. I want you to move in more for peace of mind and convenience...than...say personal desire." Shen stated honestly. "Kate...there will be a great many things that you can fight with me about...but not this. We wont even be like a couple or anything. You'll have your own room, space, and everything."

Kathrine closed her eyes and returned his passionate kiss once more. Her hands coming to rest against his chest. As he pulled back a bit she slowly opened her hues and looked at him. "You have to stop blaming yourself..." She said with a soft sigh. She blinked at his next statement...or proposal of sorts. She leaned back a little and looked down at him wit soft eyes. "....No..." She said after a moment. "Theres still alot...we need to work out...In honesty...I still havent forgiven you...But that doesnt mean I dont want to try and work past it

"Well thats good." Shen smiled. He leaned up placing another kiss on her lips. IT was suppose to be a short one, but shen had gotten caught up again. Both his hands were gently cupping her cheeks. For now, he simply wished to enjoy the mind blowing sensation he got from kissing her. If Burrow's had his way, he would have forever denied Shen access Kate's lips. "I almost lost you..." Shen whispered, his lips pulled back, but were only inches from hers allowing their breaths to mix. "I cant take that chance again..." he whispered again, his eyes partly closed as he cupped Kate's cheeks a little firmer. "I'm going...to move into my parent's Penthouse. I...would like you to move in..."

Kathrine ran her fingers through his shorter hair...she wasnt used his hair being so short, she kinda missed playing with his long strands of hair. She returned his passionate kiss, none the less, smiling down at him as she laid atop him, leaning her face into his hand as he carressed her. "Hm...more then I've been in a year" She said softly
