Fire & Ice II: Age of Rebirth(private/mature/continued)

Titus followed the scent of the trail. It took about an hour, but when they finally reached the water there were an entire crowd of animals gathered. Titus held Kora back though. A gathering that large would bring predators. He eyed the area, his ears and tail standing straight up. After a few minutes he looked back at Kora giving her a nod. "Alright jump in." he smirked and stood up taking off his jacket and shirt

Kora frowned frustrated with the situation now. "Ugh...l she huffed. It was getting unreasnably hot for hr she began to fan herself with her hand. At the mention of another water source she tried to be enthused. "Yeah..." but it came out sounding sarcastic. She quickly followed Titustowards the new water source.

"No I'm afraid I cant. I never inherited that ability. I've tried to use it and I fail every time." Titus sighed softly. Now would have been a good time to have the ability to use water or maybe wind. Frowning, Titus got on all fours and lowered his nose to the ground just like a dog would. He sniffed the entire area around the pond, his tail wagging slightly. "I think...there's another water source near by. I've got the scent of several animals heading..north-west all at the same time."

Kora followed him through the heated landscape. When they found the water source though it was no lnger big enough to swim in. She wiped at her forehead. She had no real ways of cooling herself like Titus besides her body's natural uses such as sweat. "Great..." she muttered. "Can you control water? If so blast me..."

Titus nodded and pointed his nose up towards the sky. The sun was blazing that morning and would probably only get worse as the day grew longer. "Alright this way." Titus mumbled while wiping some more sweat from his forehead. He was able to lead them to water, but what they found was a shrinking pond with nothing but dead fish inside. "Damn.." Titus sighed hanging his head in defeat. His eyes shifted over to Kora. For him, the heat was just annoying. For her though he wondered how long she'd be able to stand it without fainting.

Catching the canteen Kora took a swig. She made a face as it was warm. The water wasn't super refreshing because of this. "Sounds good." she stood as she made her way to find a water source. The heat was intense and she didn't know if she could handl e it.

"Sounds good." Titus smiled and tossed her a small canteen. The water had grown hot though thanks to the heat. Titus let out a small sigh. He reached up wiping the sweat from his brow. "Damn. Had I known there's be a heat wave I would have packed some cooler clothes..." he groaned and wiped his forehead again. "Since we're so close, what do you say we find a nice cold spring to play in for a bit?"

Kora clung tightly to Titus as he ran though the landscape. She gawked at the bears even though he ran past them lik nothing. When he stopped she jumped down from his arms. "Yes i would. We are probably gonna make it by tomorrw afternoon." He said. "We ca start heading south again." She knew he would be releaved to hear that after going west for so long.

"Alright.." Titus sighed softly and started to move. God he hoped she knew where they were going. It was the second day and they were running out of time. Titus began to move quickly through the woods. He didn't even stop when they came across to 15 foot tall bears fighting each other. He simply ran around them leaving nothing but a trail of fire in his wake. Titus had been running for a good hour before he decided to stop for a break. "Need some water?" he asked while holding her close. The sun was shining brightly that day and even Titus was starting to sweat a little. Heat waves could be seen rising up from the ground all around them baking the earth

"Yes i am sure." Kora wasnt sure why he was doubting her now. When h xplained she nodded understanding. "Right I will keep my eye out and make sure you dont go to far okay?" She smiled tryin to reassure him. She just wated to get going.

"Are you sure?" Titus asked. He turned in the direction she had mentioned. His ears pinned back against his head as he sniffed the air. "If we're not careful we'll end up crossing the boarder and find our selves in dragon territory. We still have a bit way to go till then...but we need to be careful. There's not much marking the boarder so its easy to pass without realizing it." Titus explained. The last thing he wanted was to cause more trouble for his father. The dragons were already pissed off enough as it was

Kora smiled as he lifted her into his rms. "Nope i like it. Nice and easy." She laughed. Looking around she gatheredher sense of direction back. "Right then. We want to go a little more west today. We have traveled south a lot more." She explained.

"Yep." Titus smiled and scooped her up into his arms like he always did. "You know sooner or later you're going to get sick of me carrying you all over the place." Titus chuckled. Truth was he didn't mind. Kora was pretty light and he enjoyed having her scent close by. "So where do we go now? We haven't strayed that much so you should still have a general direction of where we are."

Kora finished her food and stuck the stick in the ground. She looked up as Titus spoke. "Oh thats good." She stoof. Unwrappingthe bandages and taking off the leaves. "Yeah you are all good." She smiled tucking the bandageinto her pocket. "Well should we go?" She asked.

Titus nodded and took his seat. If it hadn't been for the dire conditions of his mission, camping out with Kora wouldn't have been that bad. He enjoyed her company even if she seemed to be an optimist and always sided with his sister. Once he got done eating, Titus rose to his feet. "Oh, my arm is all better thanks to you." He smirked and flexed his bicep. "I'll have to come up with a way to thank you. I didn't think that human medicine would work but it did. I owe you one Kora."

Kora sighed there was no getting through to this boy and it drove her insane. His stubborness was extremely hard for her to deal with. "I think he does..." she whispered. When he mentioned them not knowing each other she shrugged "Big village different parts. I am sure that when we were young I probably saw him in passing." she amended. Looking at the birds she smiled "Since you are running I will take the smaller one." she took it from his hand biting into it.

Titus snorted and shook his head. There was no way that anyone who had chosen the life of a demon slayer could have any good in them. "So you two lived in the same village, but you dont know much about him? I guess thats not too strange. I just thought that you humans stuck together." Titus replied softly. He looked up smirking at the scent of the pheasants. He got up walking towards the fire and pulled the pikes that he had impaled the birds with from the ground. "Which one ya want?" Titus grinned as he turned to face her. Both of them smelled amazing, but the left was a little bit bigger then the one on the right

Kora looked over at Titus as he sat by her. "I have a feeling that she is probably not as far behind as you may think." she stated. When he spoke of Noel she shrugged "In all honesty I know very little about him. He is very reserved. Even for a demon slayer. He isn't always cold hearted and cruel. He just...losed everything at a very young age. That does stuff to people." she explained. "As for the execution...I think your father sees the good in him. I beleive he has it he just has repressed ti for so long."

"I caught them this morning." Titus smiled while looking up at her. "I want to travel as far as we possibly can today so make sure you eat as much as you can." He smiled and moved to sit beside her. "I cant smell any trace of my sister. Knowing her she's probably pretty far behind..either that or the human she's with ditched her somehow." Titus sighed softly and leaned back a little. "What do you know about that guy anyway? I dont like him. There's this..unpredictable glare within his eyes. He smells funny too. Its almost like he carries the scent of death..yet its almost too faint to pick up on. That human..he tried to kill my father right in front of everyone without fearing for his own life. Someone like that cant be trusted. My father should have ordered his death rather then simply leaving it up to Soara.."

Kora was comfortable sleeping next to Titus. She slept with a smile on her face cozied up to him. When he left though she frowned looking for him with her hand. The smell of the fire finally fully woke her. Sitting up she rubbed her eyes. "There you are..." she muttered. "Smells good." she commented finally smiling once more. Taking a fruit she bit into it.

When morning came, Titus found his arms wrapped tightly around Kora's body. Her scent had relaxed every bone in his body. As the sun began to climb higher and higher into the sky Titus let out a low groan and turned over. He sat up rubbing his eyes before looking over at Kora. She' be happy that he hadn't groped her in his sleep again. Though, Titus thought that it might be funny if he 'accidentally' did. "I guess I'll let her sleep a little." Titus smiled and got up. He was starving now and figured Kora would be too. He left for about an hour before returning with two pheasants in his hand. After plucking off the feathers and taking out the innards Titus began to roast the birds. He also had some fruit waiting by the fireside for their breakfast.

Soara wasn't sure what she was feeling now. She had defenitly enjoyed that kiss a lot more than she should have. In fact she was already craving more. Sighing she turned on her side as she started to drift to sleep. The feeling of Noel's lips still in her mind.

"S-Sorry...Soara..." Noel whispered after seeing the clear disappointment within her eyes. He watched her get up and move towards the fire. His body leaned against the cave wall letting out a long sigh. His mind was complete mess now. Noel was sure that sleeping wouldn't be possible at least a few hours. His lips were still tingling. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back while running his tongue across her lips. His curiosity had been satisfied. He definitely wouldn't mind kissing Soara again

Soara cotninued to explore his mouth until he pulled away. She frowned staring at him clearly disappointed. She looked away as well. "Right then...." she muttered. "I should probably get off of you now then..." she stood detaching herself from him before laying ont he ground byt he fire. She stared into the flames savoring the feeling of his lips.

Noel was absolutely loving the feeling of her tongue sliding against his own. Hearing her own soft moans made his heart beat faster and faster. Suddenly, he pulled back from her lips, his cheeks turning bright pink as he looked off to the side. "Um..we..should stop now." he whispered, his eyes avoiding her own. "If this continues...I might not be able to stop at all." he confessed. Noel didn't want to admit it but he was becoming very, very turned on. A moment later and a very hard erection would have been grinding against her. "Um..this was..nice though, different...but still nice."
