Fire & Ice II: Age of Rebirth(private/mature/continued)

"Cant take any chances." titus replied softly. He looked around her little base. It was pretty amazing especially considering that humans had built it. "Alright, I'm going to erase our tracks. If I'm not back in ten minutes shut this door and lock it down." he instructed. Titus' eyes then shifted over to his sister. He had only helped her because his life had been danger too. He hadn't forgotten how she had sided with Noel and requested for him to beg for her help. "See..if you can do something about 'her' too." titus stated and pointed to his sister before turning around towards the base of the stairs. He paused tho and took one more time to gaze over at Kora. She meant the world to him and he'd do anything to protect her. Titus felt that he might be f-f-falling..."I'll be back soon." he whispered, giving her a gentle smile.

Kora nodded and led the way. A little farher from where they had been she stopped. Approaching a tree he pressed a button that slid up a piece of tree. She inserted a code and a door slid up. "These are stairs be careful." She warned starting don the stairs as the door shut and small torches lit leading he way down. Onceat the bottom she set Soara down on a small bed. It was a rather large room with one bed, a couch, and a kitchen area. "We used these during demon attacks. They shouldnt be able to get in at all." She assued him.

"Ok...but I wont leave you. I'll stay with you." Titus insisted. "Before that though I'll erase our tracks so just in case Ama fails..." he stated and paused. If Ama failed...that would mean that she'd probably died. How would Titus explain that to his father and aunt? He shook his head of the thoughts and nodded to Kora to lead on. Meanwhile, Ama was running circles around Jabberwock. The dragon let out an annoyed hiss. He punched the ground, sending a mini shock wave in all directions. Ama jumped up avoiding the wave, but found herself locked within Jabberwock's sights. The dragon took in a massive breath causing his chest to expand and then released what had to be the largest blast of flame Ama had ever seen! The blast could have easily destroyed a mountain. Ama clapped her hands together while in mid air and summoned a wicked gust of wind that sent her up higher into the air. By some luck, she had avoided a direct attack but she could feel burns forming all along her arms and legs. Looking down, she took in the amount of damage Jabberwock's one attack had done. "What a monster..." she mumbled, her ears pinning back. Every bone in her body was telling her to run. Jabberwock just wasn't the type of enemy she could fight with and survive.

Kora slowed down slihtly. "Titus i know where we can hide. I have a hideout near here. We can get Soara and i in and u can run a little farther so they think we kept going. Then we can hide out till they are gone." She waited for his answer. Soara loved the sound of it. "Please..." she beged. It was clear she wasnt going to make it much farther.

Kim had no intention on going anywhere. No, he wanted to see Ama fight. The young hybrid sped towards Jabberwock till she was within a foot of his body. Suddenly, hers vanished! "Ooooooooh!" Kim whistled, spotting Ama appear right above Jabberwock's head. She brought a blazing kick down over his shoulder but the dragon barely flinched. "That tickled." he smirked and looked back swinging his fist at her body. Ama vanished once again though and reappeared about five yards to Jabberwock's left. "I see...so you're a speed type hm?" the dragon grunted. Ama's ears perked. It was true, she had gotten much faster and was probably the fastest demon living in the capital, but she knew that she'd need more then speed if she was going to give her cousins time to escape. Meanwhile, Titus was rushing as fast as he could. He pulled Soara on while never looking back. "Come on! We gotta get as far away as we can!"

"Thank you..." Soara whisered. Leaning against the two she sprinted as fast as she could wincing the whol way. "God it hurts..." she groaned. She needed to sit and rest to be able to heal herself but sh wasnt getting anytime like this. Kora ran with Tius her speed more hat Soara could manage at the moment. Kora was worried that the demons would follow the three.

"Fuck him!!" titus spat. Ama's eyes shifted over towards Noel's body. They didn't have time to argue. "I'll grab him, just go." she ordered and extended her claws. The moment her feet pushed off from the ground Titus grabbed Soara to make a run for it. He supported her the best he could knowing she wouldn't be able to move too fast. Kim stuffed his hands into his pockets. If his memory was correct, Ama had seemed to be the more skilled out of his three pups. He was looking forward to seeing how much she had matured. Jabberwock simply stood where he was. He cracked his knuckles as Ama came at him. Maybe if she could give him a decent work out he'd made her a death a quick one..

Soara blushed harder. Why had Ama even looked? She had to kno the decent ting was to look away. Soara appreciated her brothers help ad leaned on the two of them. Hearing the demon she froze. Turning she spotted Noel. "I...i cant leave him though..." she stated. She was pisedas hell about wat he did to her but she wouldntleave him t these demons. "Grab him and i'll go okay?" She was getting ready to put pressure on her soar legs.

"I dont wanna hear it...or remember it. I've seen much more of you then what I'd like." Ama stated, shuddering lightly. Titus' eyes shifted between his cousin and his sister. As usual he hadn't a clue what the girls were talking about. He moved over to Kora, helping her with Soara. His eyes then shot over to Noel's body. He had to assume that the human was dead and that they were leaving him, not that he cared tho. "Lets go then." he stated. Jabberwock started walking towards them causing Titus to freeze again. "Sorry, but you wont be going anywhere. To be honest, I think this entire tournament that Kim has set up is a waste. I'd much rather destroy you now then wait five more years." Jabberwock smiled. Ama's ears pinned back a little. "Soara...I know you feel like crap, but when I give the signal I need to run beside Titus as quickly as you can." she muttered. They weren't going to be able to talk their way out of this one.

Kora put her arm under soara ready to make a break for it but then A wind blew and Ama stood before them. Soara looked at her quizzically "What..." she stopped however when Ama explained. A bright blush crept along her cheeks at the idea of her seeing everything. "I....I..." she gave up not wanting to inform Titus of what had happened. Kora lifted Soara up allowing her to put all her weight on her. Soara winced and looked at the dragons. "Please let us go...this isn't a fair fight we are weak and tired. Don't you want to fight the Ogami's at full strength?"

Titus looked back at Kora. They really were screwed. Curse his big mouth! Sighing, he took a few steps forward. "Kora..grab my sister and run." he told her. Suddenly, a sharp gust of wind came shooting down from the trees kicking up a combination of dirt gravel everywhere. Titus raised his arm to shield his face. Once the wind died down he dropped his guard and his jaw fell open. Ama was standing right in front of him! He stared at his cousin completely dumbfounded. "W-Why are you here?" he asked. Ama didn't answer though, at least not right away. Her gaze was fixed on Jabberwock. If she, Titus, and Soara had worked together she had no doubt that they'd be able to kill Kim. Jabberwock was a completely different story. He was in a league of his own. "I've been following Soara since she left." she stated, her ears twitching as she gazed back at her cousin and her condition. "I've seen EVERYTHING." she stated and turned her gaze back to the dragons. "None of that matters now though. Titus, grab Soara. We're retreating now." she ordered. Kim shook his head. "I'm afraid that wont be possible. You see, I just wanted to play, but Jabby-kun is different. None of you will leave this forest alive." he giggled. Ama's eyes narrowed sharply. God, how she hated Kim's personality. Her memory of him was coming back even though she had put so much work into forgetting the dragon

Soara spotted Noel charging and cringed looking away. She knew he wasnt coming out unscratched. When she finally looked again she saw she was right he was spitting out gallons of blood. "Noel!" She yelled worry gripping her. And then the demon turned to her brother. She felt like crying. They were screwed at thispoint.

ic: Titus wasn't sure what do to. He dug his feet into the ground and extended his claws trying to look as strong as he could. His eyes shifted back to Kora. There was no guarantee that the dragons would let them leave even if he did back down. Soara was out of commission and Noel...well...he didn't matter. "Something wrong?" Jabberwock asked. Suddenly, Noel bolted forward bypassing Kim. If he could kill Jabberwock, this demon general...then everything would go back normal! Noel ran at the dragon's back and jumped high into the air ready to bring his blade down on the demon's head. His grip tightened around the handle of his blade as he brought it down with all his strength! However, the blade snapped in two like glass over Jabberwock's head! "You fool. A dragon's skin is tougher then diamonds..." Kim muttered. Jabberwock, for a moment, turned his gaze back towards Noel. "I told you..you're in the way." he growled and reached out flicking Noel dead center in the chest with his finger. Noel's eyes nearly popped out! He leaned over holding his sides as he coughed up a river of blood. His entire body felt..just broken. Blood began to drip from his eyes and nose. The human went down after that, hard. Most of the bones his chest had been completely shattered. "Now then.." Jabberwock sighed. He turned to face Titus once more, his grin returning. "Will you be coming at me...or will I have to destroy you..and those girls behind you?"

ic: Kora walked over to Soara bending down next to her. She had several burns and lots of cuts and bruises. The worst part was probably that she had been underground at the time so the rocks had dug into her skin in several places and would need to be removed. Kora opened one of her eyes and frowned "She has a concussion. Usually happens when you knock your head against a tree." she stated. She was surprised to see Titus actually worry about his sister for once. Soara groaned as he tapped her she slowly opened her eyes looking at him. "My...whole...body hurts..." she moaned. She was still trying to grasp the fact that Noel had still thrown the bomb without warning her or anything. Kora spotted the new dragon address Titus..."Titus don't..." she begged. The last thign she needed was two injured demons and Noel to be her company.

ic: Noel's eyes hadn't left Kim's position. He hadn't even bothered to look in Soara's direction. "Fuck.." Titus mumbled and ran over towards his sister and Kora. He looked her over. How could such a tiny bomb do so much damage? "Soara, wake up!" Titus yelled and tapped her face a few times. Kim pouted. He turned around stuffing his hands into his pockets. Just then, Noel moved right in front of both dragons ready to fight to the death. "You're in the way." came the stone cold voice of the taller dragon. Kim let out a deep sigh. "He belongs with my pups." he stated pointing back towards Titus and Soara. "Worthless..." the dragon muttered. Titus' ears perked. He shot to his feet feeling the blood go to his head. "I AM NOT WORTHLESS! MY NAME IS TITUS OGAMI AND AS SOON AS MY DAD IS BETTER I'LL COME AND KICK YOUR SORRY ASS!!!!!" HE SCREAMED. "Ogami?" the dragon blinked and slowly turned around, his golden glancing over at Titus. Kim pressed his palm to his face. "Interesting...I always wanted to try fighting Yugo Ogami. I'm curious what his runt cant do." he smirked and fully turned to face Titus. A crooked smile formed on his hardened face. "My name is Jabberwock, 1st son of Emperor Deathwing and Major General over the Imperial Winged Forces. Now then Ogami, come at me!" He roared. Titus' ears pinned back. He felt like he had just jumped head first into a pool filled with sharks. Meanwhile, Noel's emotionless gazed hardened. The dragons were crazy if they thought that they could just ignore him.

ic: Soara hadn't noticed the grenade until it rolled to a stop nearby she let go of Kim's leg and went to run but she was still slightly underground. "Shit!" she cussed as the explosion sounded off. She was thrown back several feet and slammed into a tree. Her body slumped down unconscious and scorched. Kora noticed Soara's burnt and unconscious body but she was pulled away by Kim's voice. "I have nothing to say to you, you monster!" she hissed at him. Seeing his hand coming towards her she flinched but it retracted as the elder and clearly higher up demon appeared.

ooc: time for another avy switch. This time its Green Day XD

ic: "~Hello puppet~" Kim grinned feeling her take his ankle and most of his leg underground. Noel pulled out a small rounded ball of paper from his pocket. He lit the fuse and tossed the ball right over Kim's head just before it exploded sending shockwaves along the ground! Titus gazed through the smoke. He couldn't help but wonder just how long Noel had been holding onto those grenades and how many he had. When the smoke cleared though Titus' eyes narrowed sharply. Kim was standing in the center of a wide hole without even a scratch! He stepped out of the hole eying Noel, but then shifted his gaze over to Kora. "You've been quiet." he smirked and stretched his hand out towards her. Suddenly, he stopped. His body didn't move a single a inch. Titus became frozen too. It seemed like only the humans weren't able to feel the evil twisted aura that was getting closer and closer. Something or someone with a ridiculous amount of power was coming towards them. "Kim." came the deep dark voice of a massive man. He had to be at least 8 feet tall..maybe 9. The man had spiked jet black hair that formed into a long ponytail in the back. His hardened face was lined with deep scars. "What the hell are you doing?" he asked Kim. The dragon slowly turned around letting out a soft chuckle. "Oh...just having a bit of fun...its fine right? The job is done Jabby-kun." Kim smiled. The mysterious dragon came to stand beside Kim. His cold golden eyes narrowed and shot down at Kim like a storm of daggers. "We're leaving." he ordered and turned around. He hadn't even once bothered to look at Noel, Titus, or Soara...

Soara was frustrated that no one was listening she wanted everyone to go home in one piece. However it seemed they didn't want the same thing. Seeing the huge blast of fire she ran to Kora stepping in front of her as she made a thick shield of ice. As the fire melted some of it she simply mended it until the flames had died down. Soara sent Titus a glare "We shouldn't be fighting him at all..." she snapped. She knew though that she would have to help. She sunk under the ground and her hand shot out of the ground grabbing kims ankle before the rest of her reappeared.

Noel's eyes were filled with nothing but darkness. At that point he could no longer hear Soara's pleas. Titus however could very well hear Kora's cries, but was in no position to stop fighting. Noel wanted him dead and Kim would kill him if given the chance. Noel came at Titus once more, their blades clashing while Kim jumped out of the way of the kick Titus had shot back at him. "Lets see you dance." the dragon smirked and took a massive breath of air till his chest inflated. Noel's dark hues darted over towards the dragon. He pushed Titus back and lunged forward cutting him across the cheek. Kim leaned backwards ready to unleash another blast of dragon fire. Titus jumped back and behind a large rock while Noel took cover too. "Soara make yourself fucking useful!" Titus yelled just before Kim unleashed his blast, turning everything within its wake into ash. It was a honestly a miracle that Titus and Noel had somehow survived. Noel slowly rose to his feet dusting himself off, his eyes filled the need to spill blood. Titus stood up too. There were burns running up along his arms and back. Between him and Noel, he had taken most of the damage from the blast. "Well now.." Kim chuckled and cracked his knuckles. "Shall we start round 2?"

Soara wincedas Noel c,harged but thankfully didnt receive any blows. "Stop it! He'll kill you both!" She yelled at them. Suddenly both of the boys fighting the same enemy an then just as quickly they turned on ach other. "Cut it out now! Kim is the enmy!" She screamed. Kora cringed as the three began to fight. "Titus dont!" She begged.

It was too late. Noel's blade had come just inches from Kim's body. Titus had dodged, but only barely. "What are you doing?!" Titus screamed. "Interesting.." Kim smirked and jumped back a few yards. "Shall we all play?" he smirked waving Noel over with his finger. Noel charged Kim. The human had nothing left to lose, he'd put everything into killing the dragon. "Stupid human.." titus mumbled and rushed Kim too. He still had questions that needed to be answered. Seeing Titus move, Noel moved in slashing at him with his blades. Titus stopped dead in his tracks and formed a long blade of fire to block Noel's attack. "Ignoring me?" Kim grinned, appearing right behind Titus. The hybrid hissed and pushed Noel back before shooting flames out his left foot in a blazing back kick aimed at Kim. The fight had suddenly turned into a three sided battle to the death!!

Soara shook her head in disapproval at her brother's actions. He was crazy if he thought that he could take on someone as powerful and skilled as Kim. Howeever her attention was drawn away from her brother and towards Kim who was speaking of their name. The use of their last name and elder Dai as if they were connected sent chills down her spine. Before she knew it Noel was charging into battle. "NOEL DON"T!" she screamed.

"I want some answers!!" Titus roared. "You say that this territory is..contested or whatever, but that doesn't explain how you found out about the village!" Titus lashed out ready to take on Kim. This was what he had been preparing for. "You pups really have no clue do you?" Kim blinked, twice. Suddenly, he cocked his head back letting out another one his tauntingly long laughs. "Oh wow. You know.." he paused and wiped a tear from his eye. "When that Ogami told me his plan I was skeptical. I kept thinking, there's no way he could get all this done without alerting someone. But, I see that he was right on the money!" Kim laughed. Titus became even more enraged, but paused. Kim had just said something that perked his interest. "Ogami...thats our last name. Who told you about this village?" he asked. Kim, who still had the giggles, stood there smirking. Titus rushed up to the dragon grabbing him by his suit. "I said who told you!!!" He asked again with a vicious snarl. "Who else? I believe you called him Elder Dai?" Kim chuckled. Titus' entire face went blank. How was the elder connected to all of this? While Titus tried to connect the dots Noel's rage began to boil over. It was demons like Kim that made his hatred so intense. Unable to hold it in any longer, the human bolted up from ground! He Unsheathed both his blades and in a sweeping motion attempted to cut down Kim. He didn't care if he got Titus while he was at it too..
