Burrows stepped back when Shen walked in. "Who the fuck are you" He yelled. He glared back at Kathrine when Shen mentioned keeping her for the night. "Where the fuck is the pay huh you little slut" He growled. He reached around Shen and grabbed her hair, pulling her from behind him. "You back the fuck off" Burrow yelled. Kathrine winced,a whimper leaving her lips as she held her hair to keep him from ripping it from her head. Burrow's head turned when Shen mentioned money however. "Hn... more money eh? He looked at Kathrine, pulling her hair up so her face, faced him. "Here that, you'll get to enjoy all kinds of chinese men" He chuckled assuming Shen wanted her for her body. "Come in come in," Burrows said and shoved Kathrine against the wall. She coughed and slid to the floor again, holding her head. The same cold hard stair had returned to her eyes Shen had first seen her with

"The hell?!" Shen blinked and flinched at the sound of the shattering bottle. He quickly pulled Kate behind him. Great...they had just got there and she was already bleeding. Shen had to remain calm though. He stood up straight as he faced her uncle. "Mr. Burrows, I am your niece's teacher Dr. Li. I suppose..we didn't exactly get off on the right foot when we last met." he stated. "I apologize for keeping Katherine. However, a program has come up and I would like to enter her into it. I'd like to go over the details with you inside if you dont mind. There could be a great deal of money awarded."

Kathrine felt a little embarrassed about her 'home' She looked down, walking behind him. When her uncle didnt anser she dug through her bag. "He probably passed out" she said and pulled out the keys. She moved in front of him and unlocked the door. She opened it, peeking inside before pushing the door open more. When she took a step inside a wine bottle smashed against her head shattering. "You fucking little slut! Where the fuck were you last night" Her uncle bellowed. Kathrine winced, sliding to the floor as blood covered the side of her face, and hand that held the gash from the bottle. "F-fuck you old man" She growled out of reflex. "You little shit!" Mr. Burrow's cussed and stomped toward her.

The ride to her home seemed to take forever. Shen pulled into her driveway and the first thing he noticed was that there were beer bottles scattered all throughout the yard. The house looked like it was one step away from being condemned and the lawn hadn't been cut in god knows how long. There were weeds over taking the sidewalk and even the door looked so rusted that it would fall off the hinges. "Lets do this. Stay behind me." Shen warned her and placed his hand over her own for a moment. He walked together with Kate to the door and rung the doorbell. It was only about 2 in the afternoon so he assumed that her uncle would be awake.

"Just...hold me a little longer" She sighed as she continued to relax. His scent calmed her nerves... just like before she had taken a shower... his smell was soothing...or maybe she played it that way because he was different. She leaned back against him for a minute longer before standing straight and stepped forward and turned, pulling herself away from him" Let's go" she said with a forced smile. She grabbed her bag and hung it over her shoulder as she headed out the door toward Shen's car

Shen could feel just how tense she was. He'd have to make sure that Kate was always standing behind him while he talked to her uncle. "Is there anything I can do to make you relax?" he asked softly. The warmth of his breath gently rushed against her ear as he held her tightly. "If you want we can delay the visit. We just need to make sure we do it sometime before monday..no..we need his consent before then so he wont come to the school looking for you."

Kathrine was looking at herself in the mirror. "Kay..." She muttered. She was tense... it had been nice to relax this morning... now she'd have to be on guard the rest of the day... When Shen walked up she looked at him in the mirror and let out a sigh as she closed her eyes. Thats when she felt his embrace. She didnt fight it, nor take it as a pass. She simply leaned back against him, resting the back of her head against his chest and slowly opened her eyes as her body relaxed in his arms. This wasnt going to end well....she knew better then to think such a thing

"Kate." Shen knocked on her door. It had been a while since he had female company, but he still knew to knock before entering. "I'm ready to go if you are. Dont worry, we'll get this done quickly." Shen stated though had yet to open the door. When he did though, he did it slowly and peeked in. Kate looked a little stressed. He couldn't blame her. "Its going to be fine, trust me." Shen smiled and walked up behind her. He wrapped his arms tightly around her from behind. He knew it was wrong...but it just seemed to be the right thing to do at the time.

Kathrine froze when he said they were going to confront her uncle today... She didnt say a word...she simply looked down and went to 'her' room. It had aired out completely. Just the matress smelled like them...She sat on the chair at the desk in the room and rested her head down against the desk and sighed... "Fuck" she muttered... When her clothes finished she put them on.... she felt like she had been living in her school clothes... She fixed 'her' bed and made it look nice, making sure everything looked the way it had before she came. She pulled some cover up from her bag, touching her face up the best she could...

Shen's eyes shot wide open! He turned his head back towards Kate. His body was actually trembling a little. Why had she told him such a thing? What was he suppose to do what that kind of information? They could never to be together. It would compromise what Shen was trying to achieve. Also, she was waaaaaaay to young for him. Shen's eyes hit the floor. He didn't even know how to respond so he simply kept quiet for a few minutes. "Once your clothes dry...put them on and we'll go see your uncle." he whispered as he walked towards her. "I'll be there so dont worry. He wont harm you." Shen assured her before moving towards the steps. While her clothes were drying he was going to get some work done on his laptop. It was the only way he could get his mind off her confession.

"Studying isnt hard... I have a photographic memory" She said with a shrug. "Why do you think I'm getting straight A's without ever going to class" She asked. She smiled lightly and tilted her head into his hand and blinked when he pulled his hand away and looked off to the side. "I'm going to be blunt... I think....I may have a crush on you...Your the first adult I've been able to respect... and I'd like to look up to you...." She said with a smile as she moved her hands behind her back. "I dont mean to make you uncomfortable... I know I'm your student.. and there's an 8 year age gap... but I thought you should know" She said with another smile and turned to walk out of the kitchen

Shen was pouting like a five year old. He couldn't stand being laughed at, least of all by Kate for some reason. When she came up behind him and pressed her chest into his back his body froze. Was she teasing him again? Shen was about to protest, but slowly began to loosen up as she spoke. His thoughts had been correct. She probably had never been given a choice about sex. Sighing softly, he turned in her arms and leaned back against the sink with a soft smile on his lips. "IF you truly wish to thank me...please." he whispered, but then paused for a moment. "Please put your everything into these coming three weeks. Its going to be hard, harder then anything you've ever done. You can thank me by succeeding because their's only so much I can do for you Kate. I can connect you to the right people and buy you some time...but thats it." he whispered and gently slid his hand over her bandaged cheek caressing it. Shen realized what he was doing though and quickly pulled it back while looking off to the side.

Shen's protest had only made her laugh harder. When he sulked into the kitchen she walked silently behind him. She reached up and covered his eyes with her hands when we finished pouring his coffee. She was too small to whisper into his ear, she only came up to his shoulder blades. "I...wanted to thank you again Shen" She said softly, her chest pressing against his back, only because she had to stand on her tip toes to even reach his eyes from behind him. "What you did last night....giving me a choice...your the first...who ever did that" she said softly. "I thought older guys were all pervs and assholes.... your not...your nothing like them at all" She said softly

"!!!!" Shen's face suddenly turned bright red. He span around, his brown eyes narrowing sharply as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Dont mock me!" he wined, though it sounded more like a child complaining about being teased. "Work is different! I take it very seriously. I dont have the time to worry about who is making passes...and whatever. I dont notice because I happen to be a PROFESSIONAL. Here is different though. I'm not working and...and...i-its been a while...since...I had the company of a female..even if she's a student." Shen pouted and walked into the kitchen to refill his mug.

She turned watching him talk with his back to her and blinked, confused for a moment then chuckled. Her chuckle became a laugh, she had to hold her side. "This is hilarious! The girls make passes at you every single day at school and you just act like nothing is happening... I happen to lean over without intending to catch your eye and you get so flustered" She laughed. She ran her hand through her brown hair. "Sorry, I'm not making fun of you, I think its cute. I didnt think you knew how to blush" She said

"Hm...perhaps that came out wrong..." Shen thought to himself when he saw her response. Shen got up and slowly approached her, though stopped about half way when he saw caught a peek at her butt. He swiftly turned around and closed his eyes. God..why was he being tempted so much? Was it always going to be like this if she stayed with him? "Um..listen..I didn't mean to insult you. No..I just want you to be comfortable. Naturally, I wouldn't be giving you new clothes for free. No. You can consider it to be a loan for the moment, one which will be paid back eventually." she replied softly though still had his back facing her. What an odd way to have a conversation..

Kathrine's hues narrowed. "It's not my fault my clothes look worn, I have to go to the 2nd hand store for clothes" She growled while looking off to the side with a light blush. It wasnt her fault she didnt get an allowance and had to save up what she found laying on the sidewalks to buy clothing. She felt even more insulted when he offered to just buy her new clothes. She turned curtly and walked over to the washer, as she leaned over to push the sheets and clothes in her ass peeked out from under the hem of his shirt she wore

After Shen finished showering he got dressed and put on a simple button down shirt and some slacks. He tied his hair up too. He couldn't just walk around the house half nude even if it belonged to him. He was down stairs drinking some coffee when Kate came back from her shower. Shen was sitting of his luxurious feather like couch when she walked in. "Both question of your question can be addressed with one answer." he stated and turned his head back towards her. His face lit up. He wasn't sure if she realized it...but her nipples were even more noticeable through the shirt she was wearing since she had just got out of the shower. Quickly Shen turned his head back around. He held his coffee mug tightly in his hands as he paused to let out a long mental sigh. "Um..right..well like I was saying, I have no intention of keeping anything from your uncle. Rather, I will comfront him myself with you by my side. I plan to appeal to his nature. That should give us the time we need. While we're there you can grab some clothes or...well...I could just take you shopping." Shen stated with a small shrug of his shoulders. "No offense, but the clothes you wear look a little worn and tight. I wouldn't mind supplying you with a new wardrobe for the time being. Oh...and yes...you can do the laundry." He blinked and pointed over towards the dryer and washing machines.

Kathrine walked to 'her' room and opened the door. She shivered as the strong musk of sex hit her nose. She walked to the window and opened it to let the room air out before she walked into the bathroom and started the water. She took of the shirt of his she borrowed and paused, lifting her arm and smelling it. She had his scent all over her...and rather than being disgusted by it like she normally was... she actually felt somewhat comforted. She stepped into the shower to clean herself up, washing her hair, her entire body. When she got out, she dried her hair the best she could again and looked around the floor, seeing her clothes were already dirty again. She sighed and put on the black shirt she had put on this morning.

She walked out holding her clothes. "Can I do a little laundry?" She asked, she had the bed sheets, pillow cases and blanker bound up in her arms as well...she hoped the stains would come out... When she found him she looked at him. "So...IF...I were to agree to your terms... I have a couple questions... 1. when my uncle comes looking for me at school....what will you do? 2. what am I supposed to do about clothes" She mentioned as she displayed his shirt on her. "The only way I can get my stuff is to go home, but if he sees me leaving with a bunch of things he will put me on lockdown..." She said

ic: Shen's face turned pale. He thought it over and hung his head in defeat. He really did sound like a kidnapper and wouldn't be able to put up much of an argument if she went to the police. He looked up at her nodding about the shower and rose from the table. He placed the dishes in the sink and let out a long yawn. Kate had given him a real workout. His back was sore all over from their midnight games. "She...took it much better then expected..." Shen muttered to himself. He was still surprised. She hadn't screamed at him, cursed him out, cried...or anything. No...she actually seemed to be a little warmer towards him. "Well...it cant happen again." Shen told himself as he made his way upstairs and jumped into his own shower. "I'm her teacher. I need to focus on doing my job and helping her as much as possible. I have ignore her...perky nipples...smooth curves...a-and the uncannily resemblance she has to that person..."

Kathrine wound up yawning as he lectured on. When he proclaimed he wouldnt let her go home she placed her chin on top of her hand and smirked. "You know, legally you just became a kidnapper with that statement" She commented. She ran her fingers through her hair before stretching her arms upward. "Hm...I need to shower" She yawned She she stood up. "Thank you for breakfast, I'll do the dishes when I finish my shower" She said with a smile

"Have you learned about the law of equivalent exchange?" Shen asked, his eyes focusing on her even though she had laughed at him allot that morning. "To obtain that which you desire, you must first sacrifice something dear to you. That is the law of mankind. If you think about it, it makes sense. You cant do anything without some form of sacrifice. For example, babies are born with the ability to use a greater portion of their brain then adults. As one ages, one loses this ability. In order to grow, one must sacrifice something of equal value which in this case is the brain." shen explained, but realized that he was going into one of his rambles and wrapped up his point. "Uh...anyway, I'm not concerned with the sacrifice. I came to America to help. Even if I lose my job its not I cant find another. Actually...I'm somewhat of a prodigy in china." he whispered and stared down at his plate before letting out a deep sigh. "Point is. As your teacher I refuse to allow you to return home." he stated and crossed his arms over his chest...which was still bared...and still just as muscled as the other night.

Kathrine just looked at him as he continued to embarrass himself. She chuckled lightly as she took a bite of her pancakes and almost moaned from the taste alone, but she had done enough of that last night. When the topic of him helping her came up again she closed her eyes. "No" She said flatly. "When you can figure out a way to help me without it risking your job then I'll listen but until then, no" she said and looked at the clock. She would have to be leaving soon, no doubt her uncle heard about her and Brian's fight... which meant he would want to know where she had been.... She let out a sigh

"It would be nice if I could show you otherwise..." Shen whispered, though a little too loudly. His face flushed once more as he sat up and raised his hands in defense. "N-Not that I would! You're a student after all and what we...did...was....you know." Shen tried to explain, but wasn't getting anywhere. He pressed his palm against his face again. He was sure she'd be able to hear the sound of his heart racing against his chest. "Uh..m-moving on...are you prepared to allow me to help you? Are you prepared to follow my instructions?" he asked softly as he started cutting up his pancakes. Shen was a genius when it came to cooking. He owed his talent for it though to a certain special someone...

"No... without them... its just empty...It doesnt feel good at all, it just hurts..." She said quietly. She sat back down as slowly started to eat.
