You Can't Save Me ((Yugo,Mature))

"Sounds like mom." Shen smiled happily. He pulled her into his chest and leaned to steal a quick kiss from her. "I know you've only been gone for a few hours...and I knew you'd be safe with my mom, but I missed you. Your scent, your presence..your lips." Shen shuddered and leaned in kissing her again, only more passionately. "I love this outfit. I'm sure I'll love everything you got." he smiled as he ran his hand gently down her cheek. "Maybe you can wear this when we go out? I feel the need to show you off."

Kate looked down as Genzi continued to disprove her, not that she was surprised by it. She blinked as Shen pulled her into 'her' room. She looked up at him, her hues looking at his bandaged face. She reached up, her finger tips carefully touching his bruised face. "I'm okay.... It's not hard to understand his side of things. As for your mom, I really like her...though...she likes to tease me a bit" She said blushing. "So...you like it then? Your mom bought me several different outfits..." She said. "She wouldnt let me say no" She sighed with a smile

Shen pressed his palm into his head. All things considered though, it was better that Mei liked Kate. She wouldn't want to see what Mei could be like when she disliked someone. "Mei have you gone mad? What do you even know of this girl? We cant accept someone like her into our family!" Genzi exclaimed. Frowning, Shen gently grabbed Kate by her arm and pulled her into 'her' room. He closed the door shut and turned to run his hands over his face. "Ok...first of all, I'm so sorry about him." Shen apologized as her finger tips ran over his bandages. "I'm so very sorry. You dont deserve to be talked to like that." he whispered and leaned forward taking hold of her hands. "Second...you look so amazing. I mean...damn Kate." Shen chuckled and even spun her around a couple of times. "My mother has some awesome tastes. I hope..she didn't make you too uncomfortable. When she finds something...or someone she likes she tends to squeeze the life out of it."

"W-why do you keep saying when we get married, O told you He's not interested in me like that" She said flusted as Mei walked through the door. Kathrine hesitated to walk in, but hearing Mei yell made her curious so she slowly stepped in. "D-does...it not look good?" Kathrine asked as Shen stared at her with a blank expression. When Mei announced her to be her future daughter in law Kathrine dopped her head. "She's been talking like that all day at the mall" She said. She had given up on trying to talk sense in the woman

"Its no problem. Oh, and when its just us you can call me Mei. Though if you were to hurry up and turn 18 you could marry my son and call me whatever you want." Mei giggled softly and grabbed the knob to Shen's door. She stepped in seeing that Shen and Genzi were sitting at opposite ends of the couch. Shen had bandages lining the right side of his face and Genzi hand bandages over the left part of his face. "Genzi!!!" Mei screamed and stormed over grabbing one of his ears. "You promised to be civil! This is our one and only son!" Mei hissed and started twisting the larger man's ear. Gen squirmed in her grip trying to get free. "YOUR son is a fool. He's wasting his time with this piece of shit trash who comes from-" Genzi stated, but paused as Kate stepped in. Shen rose to his feet, his face completely blank. He had already been attracted to Kate physically, but seeing her all dolled up made his heart beat ten times harder. "K-Kate?" Shen blinked taking a step closer, his jaw hanging open. Mei smiled, though looked back at Gen and continued to twist his ear. "When did my husband develop such a mouth? How dare you speak ill of my future daughter in law." She frowned. "YOUR WHAT?!!" Both Gen and Shen yelled at the exact same time.

"Really? thats it?" She asked. So...in lamen terms she just had to keep the relationship exciting? She took the card as Mei handed it to her. "O-okay..." She said, with a smile. "Um...Li-san....thankyou.....for all of this...I.... I've never gotten to do anything like that before, it was a lot of fun" She said with a genuine happy smile. When she got out of the car and looked down at herself another blush crossed her cheeks. She was about to walk back upstairs....looking like this... god this was going to be more embarrassing then at the mall!

"I make sure that my Gen-kun always keeps BOTH eyes on me. Chasing after all these hoes will wear you down to the point that you wont even care. No. You have to always deal with your husband..or in your case..shen first. Make sure that you are the only women he'll ever want to look at. You see, he may be dense, but sooner or later all that temptation will catch up. Believe me." Mei frowned, though soon after placed her hands up waving them. "Not that Gen-kun ever cheated, I'm talking about other past experiences. Point is, you do what you must to make sure that your guy only has eyes for you. It also helps if the guy you're with is already loyal. And, if all else fails...you could always shape your guy to your liking. Though, that takes time and doesn't always work. Its a risky game. You're better of finding someone who's willing to play by the rules, aka my son." Mei smiled brightly. She loved Kate even though she was sure that the young girl had many dark secrets. When they pulled up to the apartment, several members of the staff came out to help with the bags. "Oh, here's my card. IF ANYTHING ever happens to you or should you find yourself separated from Shen, call me. Thats not a request." Mei stated firmly. She had only just met Kate and already she wanted her for a daughter in law. She wasn't going to give her up, not to anyone.

Kathrine was fidgiting in the chinese dress. At the salon they had clipped in hair extension in order to do up her hair in a half bun, with a couple small strands braided. Her nails and toes had been painted. When Mei brought up the lingere store she blushed more. "I-i have plently of thongs thank you" She said shyly. "N-no, no toys....We...do fine without them" She said blushing harder,. How could a mother be willing to buy the guy he was helping sex toys of all things. "H-how?" She asked, iterested when Mei mentioned she had a way to deal with all the unwanted attention from other girls.

"I'm fine with that." Mei smiled looking over at Kate as she promised to pay her back. Naturally, Mei wasn't worried about how much she had spent. The day went by faster then what Mei would have liked. Hanging out with Kate..it was almost like she was spending time with the daughter she had never been blessed with. Mei had felt the same about Yoko which made her like Kate even more. By the end of the day both girls were looking pretty damn good. They were back in the limo surrounded by all kinds of bags, most of them Kate's. "So.." Mei whispered shifting her gaze over towards Kate. She loved teasing the poor girl and watching her blush. "Shall we stop by a lingerie shop..or do you already have that area covered???" Mei asked curiously. "Perhaps we could pick up a few toys on the way? Though...I doubt my shen is that adventurous. His father surely isn't." Mei pouted, but smiled too. "He's much like his father. Both of them are dense. They have no idea when they're being hit on. Back in china, women love a strong man like my Gen-kun. You have no idea how troublesome it is dealing with the attention he gets." Mei frowned as she leaned back in her seat, her eyes still on kate. "You wanna know how I deal with it?"

Kathrine's eyes widened as Mei declared she ware the chinese dress back to the house. She stared at Mei as she started listing off things to do and sighed. Its not like she had much of a choice.... "O-okay" She said with a light smile. She tried to relax a little more as Mei dragged her from store to store. She had never done anything like this before. Bonding with another girl. "I swear I'll....I'll pay you back as soon as I am able to Li-san" She said as she carried some of the bags. She felt bad having Yugo carry them, so she had insisted helping as much as Mei would allow her.

Mei came back with several pairs of shoes. Some were normal sneakers, some were dress shoes, and others were just fashionable for everyday wear. When she saw Kate come out in the chinese dress she started jumping for joy! Shopping was her passion and it had been ages since she had been given the chance to shop with another girl. "Yes! Thats the dress you must wear back home. Can you walk in heels? I have some black ones that will go perfect with it! Oh, we should get your hair done too..maybe just a little makeup..." Mei muttered and pulled out a pen and paper from her purse. She started making a list...a very long list of the things she wanted to do. "Oh, lets also go get our toes and nails done hm? Mines well make this a pleasure day since I'm sure the boys are still fighting." Mei sighed and rolled her eyes. "Ok take that off and we'll hit the nail salon first!" she smiled while grabbing her shades. That day Kate would be going back to shen with 7 new outfits, matching shoes, and a few ear rings.

Kathrine blinked again as Mei piled clthes into her arms. Was this woman a shop-a-holic? She sighed but nodded as she walked back in and tried them all on, a few of them she wasnt willing to show because they revealed too much of her bruises. There was even a blue and gold chinese dress mixed in! She blushed harder then she had before as she stepped out, thankfully the slit of the dress was on the right side, her right leg had little bruising thankfully. "This is so embarrassing" She said as she stepped out

"Oh relax!" Mei giggled and took a few steps back. While Kate was changing Mei set out on a quest to find her more clothes. By the time she was done Mei had Hugo holding ten different dresses and outfits. "Very nice." Mei smiled while circling Kate. He walked over fixing her top a little. Her two toned hues came across the scar on her shoulder blade, but she said nothing. "I especially like your jeans. You've got good hips, good child baring hips." Mei smirked, already considering what her grandchildren might look like if Shen could stop pitying himself. "Now, strip and try these on two, every last one of them. I'll decide which ones go and which ones stay." she smiled and grabbed the dresses Hugo had been holding for her. "Oh we need shoes too! Hm..and maybe a sexy hat or two.." Mei snapped. She leaned over piling the dresses into Kate's arms. "Come Hugo." Kate ordered snapping her fingers. The tall chinese man let out a grunt, but followed along behind his mistress without any complaints.

Kathrine watched as Mei scowered through the clothes. She looked and some here and there, but everything was so expensive. She kept looking at the tag as soon as she'd find something and almost faint. When Mei pushed her toward the changing room she just went along with it. "Your enjoying this arent you" Kathrine said looking at Mei, a blush formed across her cheeks as she teased him about Shen. "Li-san! I cant talk about those things with you, your....your his mother!" She said completely flustered as she was pushed into the changing room. She looked at the clothes she had been given and lightly sighed. She undressed and put them on. The jeans fit perfect. Hugging her legs and hips in all the right places. The shirt was a nice lilac shade with black floral designs to it. She pulled it on, the neck space was so large the shirt hung off her shoulder. She had seen girls where shirts like these before...was this suppose to hang off one shoulder like that?She didnt have any dark bruises on that shoulder, but a light scar on her shoulder blade that she hadnt seen. "O-okay" She said and stepped out, her cheeks red

"Or something." Mei smiled shooting Hugo a wink. The man stood emotionless. He hadn't even returned Kate's wave. "He's kinda a stick-in-the-mud. Pay no mind to me." Kate muttered waving her hand as she roamed through the clothes. She had a strong feeling of what Kate was running away from but lacked the specifics. She could also tell how uncomfortable she was. "Now anything you see that looks appealing just give me a shout out. Think of this as...me helping my son help you." She smiled and pulled an out a purple top and some jeans that went great with it. "Now you try this on." She ordered and started pushing Kate towards the back near the changing the rooms. "Relax hun. I wont put you in anything distasteful. You're in good hands." Mei smiled, but then soon paused. A twisted grin formed on her lips as she leaned forward a bit to whisper in Kate's ear. "Or...could it be that you'd rather be in my son's hands hmm??"

"Ah, n-no but it's just ahh" She blinked as Mei quite litterally dragged her into a store. Kathrine looked back watching at the giant of a man followed behind them. She tilted her head and waved to him to see if she'd even get a response. "Hugo?" She asked and looked up at the man. "is he like...a body builder champ or something?" She asked and looked back to Mei as she looked through the clothes. Kathrine looked at all the expensive shirts, her eyes falling to the price tag. There was no way she could let her pay for something so expensive. That and she wasnt used to picking out high class clothing. "I-I'm not sure" She said shly. "Im not much of a shopper" She said

"Now now. Do I look like the kind of woman who takes no for an answer? I'm married to my husband dear. I'm a certain kind of special if I do say so my self." Mei smiled brightly and grabbed hold of Kate's arm literally dragging her into one of the higher end shops. "If its dresses you're worried about leave it to me. You can be classy and sexy at the same time without showing off the junk god blessed you with." She smiled still pulling Kate along. Behind them followed a very, very tall tank like built man. He had a grim faced painted on his lips and wore his hair back in a long braided ponytail that came to his mid back. The man had to be at least 7ft 3...maybe 7'5. "Oh dont mind Hugo." Mei smiled, forgetting that they were being followed. "He's my body guard. I've told Gen-kun a thousand times that I can take care of myself." Mei sighed and pulled Kate over towards some fancy tops and pants. "Hmm..you've got beautiful purple(??) eyes. Perhaps something in that color.."

Kathrine blink and froze, her body becoming tense as Mei hugged her for a second time today. She wasnt used to being embraced randomly. By Shen sure, by his mother, or anyone else....she'd have the same stiff reaction. Kathrine's violet hues widened as Mei mentioned shopping. "O-oh no, I I cant afford stuff like that" She said but was pulled out of the car. "No really, I cant just let you buy me new clothes Li-san" She said, her cheeks flushing. She was a little embarrassed....more so for Mei, to have to be seen with such a second hand girl at the mall while she wore the finest of clothes. "D-dresses??? n-no I cant, really" She said shaking her head. Her legs and hips were too bruised, the new ones from Shen, the old from....well the past she hoped she was going to be able to escape

Mei listened quietly to every word Kate said. She was a very good judge of character. It was one of the reasons that Genzi trusted her opinions on who he should and shouldn't have done business with. The older woman gazed down at Kate, her eyes softening a little. Her cold expression became warm. She leaned forward embracing Kate while gently patting her head. "There there. Sorry, I didn't mean to come off so harsh. I just get a little defensive when it comes to the boys I love." she smiled kindly, releasing Kate as the car stopped. "Well enough of all this sad talk. Shall we do what we girls do best?" she smirked and reached into her silver coated louboutin purse. It was top of the line, the best of the best. The purse probably cost more money then what Kate had ever seen. "Its time to shop!" Mei squealed in delight as she pulled her a black credit card. "Come on. No offense but you look like you could use some new clothes. I'm thinking maybe a few jaw dropping dresses? I happen to know what Shen likes and what will leave him speechless!"

ooc: dont know why I googled a freaking purse. I guess it was because I had no idea what a loubountin one looked like, but remembered a conversation where there were a few girls going on and on about purses and shoes. They looked at me and asked if I liked the brand and I was like "uhhh....yes??" XD

"No...He hasn't told me anything about her really. But he has mentioned bits and pieces of his hesitance if becoming close with someone" she said while looking down. His mother seemed to have really liked this Yoko girl. She kind of wish she could have met her, even if that meant she would never have had a chance wih Shen...at least he would be living a happy life. Kathrine looked up as Mei bluntly asked if she was merely planning on using him to get to new York. "Absolutey not!" she said firmly and looked Mei in he eyes. Shen is the only man I've ever cared for he is the only man who gave me a choice! He is the only one who ever cared enough about my feelings while everyone else around me just..." he stopped herself from saying anymore. She looked down taking a breah and let it out slow. "It was Shen's idea to help me study... So I can go to a school far away from here, ad when I finish school and can live on my own I'd come back so... We can maybe be together. He said he would come out and visit me as often as he could. And I was thinking if I study really hard and try to get my assignments done early then I could come here and visit him secretly" she said softly. "I know he would get mad at me for taking the chance of coming back here once I've gone to school... But I know I'll want to see him. I don't know of he likes me enough to be with me someday. I told him before that I liked him. He kind of turned me down nottht I didn't expect him to since I'm so much younger but... I wanted him to know how I felt about him." she said her hues had softened as she spoke about Shen

"I see..." Mei replied softly. Her soft gaze shifted towards the window of the limo. "Has Shen by chance told you anything about Yoko? I'd imagine he hasn't. She...was special. He'd known her since they were children." Mei laughed softly recalling the times that she would watch her son play all sorts of games with the girl. "She had a strong will. It was because of that will that she often got into trouble and somehow ended up dragging Shen into the thick of it. I cant even count the number of times Gen-kun yelled at Shen for getting caught up in Yoko's shenanigans." Mei smiled softly. The smile, which was brighter then any angel's, suddenly vanished though. "Im curious. Do intend to use my son in order to escape whoever you're running from?" she asked, her eyes now locking onto Kate. "I mean the point of running away is to escape. I believe you mentioned New York. Is that your objective? What happens to Shen? What of his feelings?" Mei asked as she released a slow and steady sigh. "You're the first girl I've seen him take such a defensive stance towards since Yoko. He blames himself for her death. For a while...I thought that he would never rise from the hole he buried himself in. However..at the very least..he seems to care for you. My son is a careful, calculating man. He's never once made a reckless decision without first examining the logic behind the action. He's risking his job AND the reputation of our family. So, my question is..are you using him? Are you taking advantage of his kindness..of his weakness?"

I'd rather die then have to make Shen have to suffer because of me. " she muttered quietly before looking up at Mei. She looked down when the woman asked who it was she was running from. She knew it was technically her business since it was her son that was putting his job and his life on the line but she didn't feel the need to have to explain her reasons for running. It had only been by chance that Shen had even found out at all... "I'm sorry...I'd rather not say" she said. She didn't want to sound like a little kid she was already depending on Shen she didn't want to have his mother feeliń sorry for her too.

"I see." Mei replied softly, her eyes forward. "So then you're running from this city. I would think that would mean that you actually have a lack of power...yet to talk about protecting my son." Mei frowned shaking her head softly. "Well he's a grown man so he's responsible for his actions. Still...I cant believe that he would actually become involved with a student. That doesn't sound like him at all..." Mei frowned looking disappointed. She took off her shades and shifted her gaze over to Kate giving her a hard stare. "But then I suppose you do bare a striking resemblance to Yoko.." Mei thought to herself. She leaned back again letting out a soft sigh. "So, what exactly are you running from? I'm guessing...its man?"

oh....this was a mistake. As soon as the door shut and she bluntly asked if she and Shen were having sex her face turned beat red. She looked down. "Y-yes....I know....I'm the one who mentioned that to him" She said quietly. "I'm seventeen....I'll be eighteen in another month...." She said softly, keeping her hues down. She looked off to the side. "That and...I woundlt let anything like that happen to him... She didnt know if she should tell her why she was staying with Shen. The fact that her uncle beat her to a pulp and sold her off to the highest bidder for the night including the police chief. "We....have everything worked out though....Im studying hard.....so I can past the exam to go to school in new york...and...and escape this place" She said quietly.

"To be honest...things would have gotten out of hand even if you hadn't been here." Mei sighed. Once they got to the 1st floor a white limo pulled up. "After you." she smiled and opened the door for Kate. She slid in right next to her and sat back against the expensive leather that felt more like furr. "To the mall Vincent." she ordered kindly and looked over at Kate. Her clothes looked faded a worn. "So..." she smiled and leaned back crossing one leg over the other. "How long have you been screwing my son?" she asked, and completely serious. "Oh you dont have to hide it. My shen sucks at lying...just like his father. Also, he's protective towards you. He wouldn't bother arguing with his father if he didn't feel something for you. It was the same with Yoko." Mei smiled, though it soon faded. "You must be 16 yes? Are you aware that Shen could be arrested and charged with rape even if it was consensual? "
