Fire & Ice II: Age of Rebirth(private/mature/continued)

Soara felt his arms rap around her and she flinched. She didnt pull away but she didnt hug him back either. As he spoke she frowned. "But you did." She retorted accusingy. "You used me for youre fathr's stupid plan. My dad could have helped you but instead you used me." She snapped. "Dont say that.... she whispered when he said he loved her.

"Soara dont!" Ama screamed, but it was too late. She released Titus and stood completely dumbfounded. "This is the shit I'm talking about! This is the shit thats going to spell the death of our family!!!!" Titus spat. Outside, Jann stepped in and wrapped his strong arms around Soara. He didn't care if she pulled back, but he needed to hug her. His nose pressed into her neck taking in some of her scent. His lips gently pressed against her cheek before pulling back some. "I want to believe that I didn't betray you. I love you Soara Ogami.."

Soara jumped as her brothers fist nearly collided with herhead. "Titusstop it!" She screamed. "His fathermade him do these things you idiot!" She growled."jus like Uncle Daichi and elder Dai." She frowned as she looked back at the door. Then at Ama who shook her head. "I...I..." sepaused "maybe he can help?" She said hopefully in Ama's direction. She sowly opened the door a crack and not seeng anyone she stepped out. Then shut the door again. Leaning against it she looked at Jann. "What is it you want?"

"I want to see you. Just give me a few minutes please. Everything...Everything is messed up. Believe me when I say that I never wanted to kill your father. I just...wanted him to step down from his throne. Thats all." Jann whispered as he pressed his forehead against the door. Titus slammed his fist into the door and deadly close to Soara's face. "FUCK YOU! Its because you and your fucking father that our mother is suffering! Do you have any idea what she's been through?! She can hardly lift her head up!!!!!!" Titus spat. Again, Ama had to hold him back from the door. There was a long pause after that. "Soara...just please come talk to me. I've missed you so much. I just wanna talk." Jann whispered softly. Ama covered Titus' mouth to keep him from screaming. She looked over at Soara and slowly shook her head.

Soara sighed as Am left her side. Hearing the knock she stood. Her heart was racing as she wasnt sure what was going to happen next. Then she hear her name called. It was Jann she could tell. And he was alone from wat she could tell. She went up to the door. "What do you want?" She asked through it. It wasnt likehe couldnt open the door anyway though.

Ama got up from the floor and walked over to the tray that Konna had left. Everything was so uncertain. Their entire future depended on Yugo waking up. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Ama and Titus froze. Konna would have no reason to know so it couldn't have been here. Then there was another knock. "Soara...open up I know you're in there. I can smell you." It was Jann on the other side! Titus let out a wild snarled. "That dick has some nerve showing up here. This is all his fault too!" He spat and rolled up his sleeve. Ama grabbed him and shook her head. "Konna said not to open the door..." she whispered.

Sora was still staring are the floor when Ama nudged her with hr nose. She didnt understand why she was doingthis since she hadnt been exactly cooprative with her. As Ama hugged her she noddedd at her words. "Well we can only hope. She whispered in reply. If herfather didt wake up she wasnt sre what she would do.

Ama's eyes shifted over towards her younger cousin. Unlike titus, she didn't hate or Soara or blame her. She was however pissed off that Soara had refused to go with them if things got worse. She moved onto the floor and nuzzled her nose into Soara's neck. She lightly licked her cheek with the tip of her tongue and wrapped her arms around her. "Its going to be ok. Uncle Yu-san will wake up, our mothers will be free, and everything will go back to normal..you'll see."

Soara nodded absently at Konna's words. Once she left Soara slowly sat on the floor. Staring at the ground she didnttouch the food. At the mention of why the elder brek the sword she shrugged. She didnt have a clue and had nothing to contribute to the conversation. Not that they would want her to anyways. They both hated her and blamed her for everything.

Konna read the expression on Soara's face. Perhaps she had misunderstood her comment. Her eyes shifted between the twins as she moved back towards the door. "Well there's your food. I'll come check on you three in the morning. Again, please stay here until I come for you. If there's a knock on the door dont answer it. If someone opens the door...do what you must to knock that person out and hang a white cloth from your window." Konna instructed and pointed behind them. "I can see your window from my office. I'll know to come up and see whats going on." she replied softly. Titus and Ama both nodded. Inside Ama felt a little better, but she was still worried about the condition of her father. When Konna left she sat down on the bed. They hadn't eaten in a day, but she wasn't hungry. "When we were in that skeletal pit with elder Dai...he grabbed a sword left by our great grandfather...and then broke it. Why'd he do that?" Ama asked, though she was more so thinking out loud. Titus shrugged his shoulders and grabbed an apple from the trey. "Cuz he's a sick freak who plots behind people's backs??"

Soara stared at Konna angrily. She was sick of people blaing her for evrything. She couldnt have possibly known of Janns intetions. Her attention tuned however to her Uncle. Daichi in truth had barely woken from his slumber. Once in awhile he| lightly stir but not much. He was though as Konna said locked in a specal chamber incase he did awaken.

"Yeah...ok. Though I'm not the one you should apologizing too. IF things go wrong and you three end up dead it will be your own fault." Konna spat flatly. She wasn't going to bullshit them on the current situation. Things were looking pretty bad. "Oh, there's been no change with Yugo-sama either." Konna announced. Titus looked down and pinned his ears back against his head. "What about my dad?" Ama asked, her ears perking and she moved to grab Konna sleeve. Konna looked up and thought for a moment. What had happened to Daichi? He had been captured...that she knew...but she wasn't sure what Tyren had done with him. "I...dont think he's dead...but I haven't seen him either. I'm pretty sure he was still freaking out so we had to throw him in a special cell that cuts off demonic energy. Your father had plenty to spare."

Soara cringed as her cousin grabbed her by the neck. Shefell silent as Ama becamedarker. Hearing te door she fell t the ground. Rubbing her neck she slowly stood. Starin at Konna she frowned. "Sorry..." she muttered. She knew that Konna was right and that they all needed to grow up. However so far that wasnt happening.

"I dont think you understood me..." Ama stated as her brown eyes suddenly turned blood red. Her pupils became narrow cat like slits as a twisted crimson aura formed around her entire body. "So..allow me to repeat myself." Ama muttered as she grabbed Kiku by her shirt and brought her cousin up to her face. "You're coming with us even if I have to chain you up and gag you..." Ama stated in what had to be the deadliest tone that she had ever used. Titus pushed himself up from the floor. Even he was a little surprised. "She's serious..." he thought to himself. Suddenly, the door to the room came swinging open! "Whats with all this noise? I thought I told you three to sit quietly..." Konna growled. She had a large plate of food between her hands. Ama looked back towards the older female and released Soara. She crossed her arms over her chest and stared off to the side. Konna let out a deep sigh and closed her eyes. She wasn't good with handling demons their age. "Its time for you three to do some growing up. Your future is uncertain...dont shame your parents by falling apart."

Soara glared at her brother. "I dont think i'm perfect." She snappd. She was about to toss a new load of insults his wa but stopped as Am yelled again. Feeling the ice chain she growled breaking it with her own powers. "That worked real well." She snapped. "Listen im sorr that youre going through this too but you arent going to make me do anything."

"And I'm sick of your 'look at me I'm perfect' attitude! Even now..even though all this is your fault you are still acting like you've done nothing! You're the asshole and I swear if anything else happens to our mother I'll never forgive you.." Titus spat bitterly. "ENOUGH!" Ama spat and clapped her hands together. She formed water over her hand and shot ice like chains around Titus' and Soara's necks. She yanked hard on the chains slamming her cousins onto the floor. "You two are so fucking selfish! All you do is fight fight fight! Have you ever stopped to think how I might be feeling? The last time I saw my dad he had so much hate in his eyes t-that he hardly recognized me! I dont even know if he's alive. My baby sister's life might be in danger too and she hasn't even been born yet!" Ama hissed and slammed her foot into the ground. Her ears pinned back as tears threatened to roll down her cheeks. "If the time comes...WE will leave our home. I dont care if I have to chain the two of you together and gag you...WE will leave!"

"I think its the other way around." She snapped back. Soara looked at her brother than to Am. "You know Titus i've put up with your shit for years. Your constant yeling at me and belittling me! But now when you need to stop being an asshole you cant." She spat. Then froze as Ama screamed at them. "You two can leave but i'm not i'm staying here."

"Could say the same. The fact that I have to share a room with father's murderer makes me wanna gag." Titus spat back. Ama pressed her palm against her face. This wasn't good. The twins had always fought like cats and dogs but somehow it all seemed a little more serious. "Stop it you two!" Ama suddenly screamed. Her brown eyes narrowed sharply as she shifted between her cousins. "Eventually is a long way off. I dont want to leave...but if we have to...WE will."

Soara glared at Titus. "Shut up. I dont even want to be in the same room as you." She growled. After everything he had said to her she didnt even want to look at him. "I dont mean right now i mean eventually. If we dont he'lll still kill them." She retorted.

"Are you stupid?" Titus frowned. He was leaning against the wall his arms crossed over his chest. "Konna told us not to do anything and Mom said to obey her. Right now we just need to stay put and let her deal with all the complicated stuff." Titus stated. It sounded so weird...him being the one against action. Ama nodded in agreement. "I wanna do something too Soara...but there's to much at stake. What if we mess up and Tyren decides to kill both our moms? We..We cant take that chance."

Soara enteed the rom after Ama hd unlocked it. Sitting down she looked at her cousin as she began to lay down ome ground rules. Sora nodded though as she agreed with everything. "Thats true. But why hide when we can do something about it now." She asked looking at her.

"You understand Tyren very little. The soldiers weren't just loyal to your father. They were loyal to Nagi-chan as well. As a matter of fact, Nagi-chan had her own personal guard. They were wolves she had trained herself. The issue is complicated.." Konna explained before she sent the hybrids on their way. When they reached the room, Ama entered and closed the door shut. "Ok here are the rules." she frowned and glared daggers at both of the twins. "We wont get anywhere by blaming each other. Whats done is done. Right now...we need to focus on us. If...I-If something happens to our mothers..." Ama stated, but had to pause to keep herself from breaking down. "We need to survive. We need flee so that someday we will be able to return to claim what belongs to our family." She stated. Still, in the back of her mind she could only wonder if it all would work. Also, Ama had yet to be told anything about her father. Had he been killed or was he still alive??

Kiku watched as the twins and Ama left. Sitting back in the cell she bgan to sob once more. More afraid of her childrens fate than her own.
Soara stopped as Konna explained what they were to do. Noddng she watched her hand Ama the key. Wh she mentioned the guards Soara made a look of digust. "Isnt that an obvious attck on my father? Though he was trying to frame my mom." She muttered. But made no further comment as they headed out.

"Aunti-Kiku..." Ama whispered and walked up to her cell. She hugged the battered neko as best she could. Konna ushered the hybrids out from the dungeon. She need to find a place for them to hide for the time being. "Alright. I need to go back to the throne room." Konna said and handed Ama a key. "You're the oldest yes? Keep the twins quiet. That key leads to a room located in the northwest tower. Go there and stay there until I come and get you. I'll check on you later tonight. There should be food already in there. Under NO circumstances are you to engage any of the guards. Not even I know who exactly is loyal to Tyren and who still carries loyalty to your father. What I do know is that the ones who were loyal to your father are very few seeing that most of them were executed the other day."

Soara stod from the bars as Kiku let go of herson. "I love you dont forget that all three of you." She assured them. "I'll be fine Titus i promise." She smiled weakly. "Now go with Konna and do what she says." Sheordered. Soara didnt hesitate she said one last i love you to her mother and then followed the other wolf.
