One everyone had left Kiku turned to her husband. Looking at the kids she shooed hem withb a wave of her hnd. Soara preceeeded o the dining hall ith the others. Kiku put a hand on Yugos shoulder. "What were you doing? You ant just attack someone like that yourealread under enough criticism." She poined out. She knew yelling at Yugo was probably wrong but she didn't promote him treatening someones lie.

ic: At that moment, all the generals turned to Kiku. Yugo stood where he eyes, his eyes wide as he stared at her. Even if she was his mate...and even if he was on the very edge of killing Tryen, it was wrong of her to speak out in such a way, such was the custom. It was a rule that Nagi had ignored plenty of times though. "Uh...I think what Kiku means is that a lunch has been prepared for you and your staff. Things seem to be a little hot...so why not cool down some?" Nagi asked. Yugo let out a low grumble and shoved his way past Tryen. The wolf simply chuckled, but paused to meet Kiku at the door. "I suppose thanks are in order." he laughed, mocking her attempt to control Yugo's anger. Not once had the general felt that his life was in danger. In fact, he found the entire situation to be hilarious. The fact that Kiku had come screaming only added to his amusement. He could only wonder how embarrassed Yugo must have felt. Once the generals had left the throne room, Nagi sighed softly. "Better hide the knives..." she mumbled and followed the ground into the dining room.

Soara didn't. Doubt her fathers power as titus did. However she as curious as t what set him off. Then she remmberedthat hehad. Meeting wit hi least favorie geeral oday. Kiku folowedafter Ngi as thy entered the throne room seeing Yugo bou to destory Tyren. "Yougo top it! You aren't going to kill him!" She yelled at hr mate. Soara looked at her father fearin her eyesshe didn't wan t her father to be a muder.

Titus came out of his room wondering what was going on as well. He had felt real earthquakes growing up and this felt nothing like one of those. Nagi had been napping when the ground started to shake and came out of room looking around. "Oh no..." she whispered softly as she held onto the door frame. "Whats causing all this?" Titus asked. "Your father most likely." Nagi replied softly. "No way...dad has enough power to make the ground shake??" Titus blinked. Nagi stared at the boy in disbelief. "Do you have any idea just how much power your father has? Get him pissed enough he could turn half of the capital into a boiling pot of ash..." she sighed and began to make her way towards the throne room. Titus followed her. Upon reaching the throne room however she was denied entry by the guards. "Sorry Lady Nagi, but no one may enter while the Generals are meeting with Yugo-sama." the declared. Nagi smirked and grabbed one of the guards by the throat, sinking her claws into his flesh. "Who do you fear more, the pissed off alpha who's about to knock down the whole palace...or the pregnant lady who's in no mood for bullshit?" The guard stared at Nagi wide eyed. It take him long to open the door for her. "Wise choice." Nagi smiled. When she stepped in, she saw that Yugo was about ready to rip Tyren's head off. The general seemed to be perfectly calm and collected though.

Arrivng back at the palace Soara threw her bag in the corner of her room as she removed her shoes.sudenly the grund began to shake though as sh grabbedthe wal tryin t balane hrself.kiku was also in thehall as she was going to turn in some paper work. The earthquake startled her as she went to help Sora."what the hell!?" She shoutedover the noise.

Back at the palace, things were really heating up inside the throne room. Yugo's meeting had hit a dead end. The staff and himself were discussing what to do with the north now that the neko's were no longer in power. It was Yugo's intention to restore power to the country and set up a government that could take control, but at the same time keep the peace. General Tyren argued that doing so would be far too costly and in doing so 'may' have called Yugo's leadership into question and 'may' have stated that he could have done a better job. Yugo rose to his feet, his brown eyes turning into slits. "Thats sounds like a challenge." the alpha grinned as he stepped down from his throne. The other generals eyed each other. Nothing good was going to come us this. A few them had already moved out of the way.

"Yugo-sama I can assure you that it is not my intention to challenge you." Tyren sighed deeply. Now, Yugo stood practically nose to nose with the General. Tyren simply stared right back into the alpha's eyes, technically a sign of disrespect. "The fact is that you're too close to the problem so you cant see the full picture. LEts not forget that your...oh darn...what do kids call em now days?" Tyren blinked and scratched the back of his head. "Oh yes..." he smirked and looked up at Yugo with a sly grin. "Your fuck buddy is from the north correct? I believe that is why-" Tyen stated. Suddenly, he found Yugo's fist plowing straight towards him! The general raised his guard to block. As Yugo's fist made contact, Tyren's body was pushed back by several feet from the sheer force of the attack. "Insult my mate again and I'll rip your heart of Tyren." Yugo snarled. "Is that a threat...or a promise?" Tyren grinned. Yugo cocked his head back. Oh...now he had done it. Just as the twins arrived home the ground began to shake violently. Steam rose up from the floors sending the servants in a panic!

Soara lookd at Jann and frowned. What he said was true her father andhis hated each other. As he continued to speakshe glanced at Ama who was growing angrier. When the two began to fight she smirked as Ama clearly lost. Feelinghim kissher cheek she blushed. "Will do..." looking at Ama she shrugged.

"Well for one, our families dont exactly...enjoy each other's company. I'm sure your father are mine are fighting right now at this very second." he stated. In fact, Jann had no idea just how right he was. "Second...well my past with females is a little complicated..." Jann replied softly. "YOU SEE! HE'S A DOG!" Ama cried out. At that moment though, Jann turned back to face her. Calling a wolf a dog was going overboard. "And you're a stuck up brat who's use to getting everything she wants. You cant stand the fact that I'm better then you are." Jann stated with a cruel grin. Ama's entire face went beat red. Her eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets. Sighing deeply, Jann ran a hand through his jet black hair. His intentions weren't clear, but he seemed to be working something out in his head. "You know what on second thought...I will come see you tonight Soara. Keep your bedroom window open." Jann smiled as he walked up to her and placed to most gentle kiss on her cheek. Steams was rising out from Ama's ears. She bit her bottom lip hard until it bled. "Fine get hurt, I dont care!" she hissed and stormed off past her cousin and Jann.

Soara looked at Ama and growled "stop treaing me like a baby! I'm not a fool or stupid! Maybe Jann is nice but you don want to see it." She snpped back. Seeing Jann she relaxed a little especially wen he touchedher shoulders. As h spoke she looked at him puzzled. "How are you not exactly?" She asked curiously. She wasn't sure how he'd arrived at this conclusion but she was curous to find out.

Ama stared at her cousin wide eyed. Ok sure...maybe she was a little jealous...and MAYBE she had a bit of a crush on Jann, but that didn't excuse the fact that Jann was a jerk. "You're pitiful you know that? Are you really falling for the first male who comes by and charms you? He doesn't like you Soara! You're just another notch in his damn belt!" Ama hissed right back. "Hey hey ladies please..." Jann sighed and moved inbetween them. He turned to Soara first and placed his hands gently on her shoulders. "Listen...Ama is half right. I've got...a complicated past. I do really think you're cute...but perhaps I'm not the right one for a princess like yourself." Jan whispered. Ama rolled her eyes. "Oh great...just what every girl wants..a bad boy with a past who says, 'im not good enough for you.' " Ama spat mentally. Jann then turned to his classmate. "You're wrong though. I dont see Soara as a...notch...as you termed it. I actually really wanted to get to know her. However...you are right about one thing. I'm really not good enough." Jann replied softly. Ama stared up at him with narrowed eyes. She couldn't tell if Jann was being sincere or if he was playing her. Honestly it was THAT thing she hated the most about him. She could never tell when she was being lied to by him and it pissed her off.

Turning a cornr Sora spotted the two. Seing Ama she ran at hr pushing hr asde. "Leave him the hell alone! I'm sick of this! You're jealous I'm sorry but you still got me in trouble bcause I was trying to help you nd what do youj do? Get mad at me! So just leave me and everone else in my life alone!" She hissed.

Titus blinked twice and watched his sister suddenly leave. He shrugged his shoulders and continued eating. He wasn't sure why she being so emotional. "Maybe its that time of month..." he mumbled to himself as he sunk his fangs into a cookie. Meanwhile, Ama had Jann pressed up against a locker, her eyes glaring daggers at the male. "I'm not going to tell you again. STAY away from my cousin!!!" she hissed. Jann simply smiled and ruffled up Ama's hair a little. "You know you're cute when you're jealous." he smirked. "Im not jealous! I cant stand you!" she spat out, her claws extended.

Soara smirked and chuckled "good..." she replied slightly seductve. When Ama cam over she glared "oh god..." she growled. She was gettin eally sick of Am at the moment. Looking at her brother she hissed. "Will you stop! I'm sick of you insults." She stood storming out as she flung hr lunch into the trash.

"Hmm I might just have to." Jann smiled. Titus felt like he was about ready to puke. It wasn't long before Ama discovered Jann had slipped out of her view. When she found him, she gave him a hard tug on his ear and pulled him as far away from Soara as she could. "Damn brat doesn't know whats good for her..." she mumbled to herself. Titus watched with amusement as he sipped his juice box. "You know he's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of your league right? Why he's even talking to you I have no idea. Ama seems to know him. You should do some digging." Titus suggested. This time, he wasn't trying to be mean. It was just that there was something about Jann he didn't like.

Soara heard the last of the anoucement and grinned. She had to win to get out of his stpid city. Hearing Jann she looked up. Blushing at his compliments. She glaredat Titus however "unlik you he's not blind." She retorted. Her attention turnedtowards the older male however "sadly no...stuck in the castle...but if you want to rop by...." she whispered so only Jann could har.

"And so, that is why we're holding this tournament. Most of you have a few years before you can enter the academy. We'd like to see how much you all have progressed and who shows the most promise. The the prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place is an all expense paid trip to the Yu-Islands." The president smiled brightly. Titus jumped out of his seat. The Yu-islands were legendary for having the most beautiful beaches in the Empire. It would be a chance for Titus to get away from his parents and relax. "Oh, naturally you wont be alone. The winners will be supervised by myself, Jann Lee, and Ama Ogami." the president announced. The entire cafeteria buzzed with excitement! While everyone was going crazy, Jann found time to sneak away from Ama and over to Soara's table. "So this is where the princess eats lunch hm? I've been thinking about you and that sexy tail of yours. Do you think you could come out to play with me again tonight?" Jann asked. Titus's mouth dropped. He stared between his sister and the older male in disbelief. "Sexy? Who...'her'?" Titus blinked and pointed to Soara.

Soara rolled her eyes "whatever like I care..." shemuttered. sitting down she sighd picking at her food. Hearin a commotion she looked up. Spotting the academy students she groaned seein Ama. Seeing Jann though she grinned.staring at him. Then she looked away embarassed.

"I guess thats right. However, whether its the first or not you're now on dad's radar. Welcome to the club baby sister." Titus smirked as he raised his fruit punch. IT wasn't long before his attention drifted elsewhere though. There was some sort of commotion at the popular table. It seemed that there were guests visiting the school. Through the cafeteria doors came several students from the Academy, all dressed in the finest crimson red uniforms. Walking behind the president was Jann, his black hair spiked up front as usual. Walking by his side was Ama, though she looked pretty ill. "Attention younger students!" called the president. Jann let out a small yawn. The male looked board. Over the side he caught several younger females, all from the popular table, giggling and waving at him. "Dont you dare." Ama frowned and gave Jann a swift elbow in the ribs. Neither of them seemed to be listening to what the president had to say. "Little girls dont interest me." Jann replied softly. However, when his bright brown eyes found Soara, a small grin formed on his lips. He shot her a wink which caused Titus to blink twice. "Did that guy just...wink at me????" The young male blinked, his eyes wide. Seeing this, Ama stamped the heel of her foot right into Jann's shoe! Jann bit down on his lower lip, almost until it bled. "I told you stay away from her..." Ama growled, her ears now pressing back against her head. "Jealous?" Jann grinned. "Fuck you." Ama spat in a hushed tone and shifted her gaze away from Jann.

Entering the lunch room Soara noticed her broher and sighd. He was alone as usual. Approaching him se hard his comments and growled. "Why don't you shut up for once hm? I wasn't the one who almot got sent away not to mention his is one of theonly things I've done wrn." She retorted.

The day had passed by slowly. At lunch, Titus could be seen eating by himself as usual. He still couldn't believe that his parents had threatened to send him off. If that was the case, Titus had a good mind to beat them to the punch. He had never liked the prison that Yugo forced him to live in. Titus desired freedom but wasn't sure how to go about getting it. When he spotted his sister, his brow raised slightly. "Well if it isn't the drunken school girl." he smiled. Titus had heard everything and couldn't help but to laugh. "Well now mom and dad finally know what I've known for years. You're not perfect. You can actually screw up pretty damn good when you put your mind to it."

Soara lookedat her father. Sh knew he thought that he was protecting her and it might be true but there had to be otherways. Hearing the guard he frowned, figuring the conersation was over. But of course it wasn't... at be mention of boys Soara rolld her eyes aftr retrning his hug. "Dad really..." she stoppe listening. The idea of him setting herup didn't sound super good but she decided to just go with I. "Sounds great." She said focing a smile. "Well I hould go I have school..." she stated running off.

The mntion of boys made her remember that Jann said he was going to met her at chool today. For som reasn she kin of liked the idea. Meting the other she walked with the guards to chool like always.

"That maybe true, but it doesn't erase the seriousness of the issue. I really think you and your cousin have no earthly idea how dangerous this city is..." Yugo blinked. Sighing deeply, he ran a hand behind his neck. He understood how Soara felt, but the guards were for her own protection. "Soara if I were to allow you kids to go wherever you wanted Kiku and I would never see you again. The city is DANGEROUS. I dont know how many times I have to tell you that. I thought that if I at least allowed you travel with an escort you'd be content." he sighed again. Just then, a soldier came running in. Yugo shot the boy a dark glare. "What? I'm busy." he growled. "Sir, the Generals are arriving!" The soldier announced. Yugo blinked twice and shifted his gaze towards a near by window. "Is it that time already?" he mumbled softly. With a small huff, Yugo walked up to his daughter and wrapped his arms tightly around her. "Soara I love you so much. You and your brother are the best things that have ever happened to me. I think that someday...you'll understand why I take the precautions that I take. Until then...I suppose you'll just have to bear with it. However, perhaps once your punishment is over we can discuss...a compromise of some sort." Yugo replied softly and smiled as he pressed his warm lips to her forehead. "Oh by the way, about this 'boy' problem." Yugo frowned. The moment he said the word boy Soara had to have known that things weren't gonna end well.

"Now, your mother tells me that you're growing up and its perfectly natural for you to be interested in males. I personally would prefer if you held back that interest for...another 50 years or so...but I know thats asking to much. So, I thought why dont I introduce my daughter to some of the most strapping young males in the city! There's three of them. You can meet them, take your pick, and go from there. I'm sure all three will meet your approval. What do you say?" Yugo smiled, though when he had said that the males would meet her approval, that was code for the boys were all SAFE. Chances were that they'd never even think about touching Soara, not with the image of a pissed off Yugo burned into their minds.

Kiku was sure to wake her husband in the morning as he had requested. Soara however wasn't so happy about being woken up. Getting out of bed she sighed. Dealing with her father wasn't something she really wanted to do this morning. Entering the throne room she yawned as ama began to immediately began to sass her father. Which Soara knew was a dumb idea. Allowing Ama to speak she remained silent staring at the ground.

She looked at her father as he addressed her. His words made her ears press against her head. A low whimper leaving her lips. Receiving the punishment Soara kep ther mouth shut unlike her cousin. When her father addressed her she looked at him shifting her feet awkwardly. "Why?...because...you think you try not to keep us locked up but you do. And walking around the city with guards isn't not keeping us locked up. It's no better. It just draws even more attention to us. I hate it a lot. And this small village is only fu for so long..." she explained. It was true she had been growing more and more frustrated as of late. At the mention of being treated like her brother she shook her head. "No this is the first seriously bad thing I've done." she replied. Which was true.

When morning came, Yugo had awaken thanks to Kiku and was on his way to the throne room. He sat down on his gold trimmed chair and clutched the handles. He'd be in a meeting with his staff for most of the day. Before that however there was some unfinished business he needed to take care of. Both Ama and Soara had been summoned to the throne room. They were both going to appear before Yugo and provide whatever explanation they could. "You called?" Ama frowned as she placed her hands on her hips. She closed her eyes and let out a tired yawn. Her white ears flicked back and forth. Yugo let out an irritated growl. He wasn't sitting before them as a father or uncle, but as the leader and Warchief of the Ogami tribe. "I want to hear your story from start to finish. I want all the details starting now." he ordered, his dark brown eyes shifting between the girls.

After filling in her uncle...for the second time, Ama let out another yawn. She had told Yugo everything. Yugo sat back in his seat, his eyes closed. It was evident that he wasn't happy. "You two have no idea how much your mothers worried last night, how much I worried. The city is dangerous and is not a place where two under aged girls should be...especially at night. Soara...I'm very disappointed in you. I thought you knew better. IF you really wanted to go out so badly you should have spoken with me first. You know I try hard not to keep you locked away inside of the palace...and this is the thanks I get?" Yugo asked, his brow raised slightly as he shook his head slowly from side to side. "Ama, I've been told that you've been grounded for a month and you'll be cleaning bathrooms during that time. Your cousin will be joining you. In addition, you both will be cleaning the stables. Since you both seem to have so much energy that you have to sneak off in the middle of the night, I'll be doing something about that. After this month is over, I highly doubt you'll even think about doing something so foolish." Yugo stated.

"Pfft...whatever..." Ama mumbled to herself and rolled her eyes. Unfortunately for her, Yugo had pretty damn good hearing. The male rose to his feet, eyes wide, nostrils flared, and fangs bared. "You seem to have a problem." he growled and approached both girls. Ama's ears folded back. Her eyes quickly found the floor. "N-No...I dont." she whimpered softly. "You dont what?" Yugo asked, his bulky body towering over Ama's. "I dont have a problem..sir." she whispered. Yugo nodded and excused Ama. The younger hybrid was quick to take her leave. Now, his attention shifted to his daughter. "Just tell me...why? Why would you do something so foolish?" Yugo asked and shook his head once again. "Soara...your mother and I are fed up with your brother's attitude. He's got one more shot. If he blows it, he's going to be sent to an outpost along the western boarder for...well...however long I decide. Am I going to have to treat you the same way?"

Daichi smiled as she returnd his hug. "Wating sounds good. I'm exhausted anyway." He replied. He smiled as she stood on her tiptoesso she could kiss him. Returning the kis he sighed. "Slep sounds so amazing." H laughed leading her to the bd. Laying down he pulld back the covers for them both. Once she was in he wrapped his arms around her.
