Fire & Ice II: Age of Rebirth(private/mature/continued)

Titus let out a gasp as Soara grabbing him and flipped him over. Unfortunately, she was just a little bit more graceful then he was so Titus ended landing on his head. "Does that count as point?" Konna smirked. "No." Yugo laughed. Titus let out a low groan. By the time he opened his eyes it was too late. His body got nailed by the torrent of water his sister had shot him with. "Point!" Yugo called out. Titus rose to his feet, his clothes completely soaked. "Fine. I guess I'll have to get serious then." he growled and went on all fours. Suddenly, flames ignited over his entire body! His blazing tail swayed back of forth flickering flames onto the ground. Using his hind legs, Titus pushed off from the ground sending his body forward to close the gap. Once he was within arm's length of his sister, he unleashed a powerful combo of flaming kicks, punches, and slashes all aimed at various points of her body.

Soara saw the flames and jumped grabbing her brothers shoulder she flipped over him. Kicking back before she landed summersalting till she stood once more. Turning to face him she sent a huge stream of water in his direction. She knew her brother was more offensive than defensive combater.

"I was born ready!" Titus smirked. As the ice shots came his way, Titus switched his stance to a defensive one. He clapped his hands together igniting violent flames around his body to melt the incoming shards. He wasn't an idiot. He knew how his sister just loved to bounce around. As Soara threw her punch, Titus's body turned while raising his left arm to block and parry her punch. He then opened his jaws and unleashed a steady stream of flames from the depths of his gut. Konna raised a brow. She was definitely enjoying the fight so far.

Kiku took a seat next to her husband glad that he had et some guidelines. Soara looked at her father as he set some basics rules. "Fine." He replied. Facing herbrother she smired. "Ready for thi?" She asked before charging at him. Holdng out her palm an iceacle shot from her hnd heading straigh for his stomach. Jumping up she landed behind him throwing a punch towards his back.

When they got the training grounds, Yugo guided Konna over towards a few shady seats. Konna graciously accepted the aide, a flashed Yugo a bright smile. Meanwhile, Titus stood ready on the field. He slid into an attack stand, his dark eyes forming slits as he extended his claws. "Alright just a few rules you two." Yugo announced since he was the one who usually supervised their training. "This is a sparing match. That means you DONT kill each other. The one who can land three clean blows to the other wins. Also, no blows to the face and or below the belt." he yelled out. Konna pouted and gave Yugo's arm a gentle pinch. "You're no fun." she frowned. "Trust me, the rules are for their own protection. You haven't seen what they can if allowed to fight freely." he sighed deeply and sat back in his seat. Konna sat up crossing her legs while eyeing the twins. "Alright, began when ready!" Yugo announced.

Soara glared at her brother "not true..." she growled. As they moved away Soara rolled up her sleeves. "This should be interesting." She muttered. Kiku followed the others to the training ground. "Ready brother?" Soara asked with a chuckle. She knew this would be fun as they hadnt trained at home together for awhile.

"I dont give a fuck...I guess. I mean, we all know I'm better then you." Titus shrugged and looked at his sister with a wide grin. "Watch your mouth, you're in front of company." Yugo growled. "Sorry..." Titus mumbled. Konna clapped her hands in delight. " Ooooh sibling rivalry, I love it! Very well, shall we move to a more spacious location. I want the twins to have plenty of room to move about." she smiled. Yugo nodded and rose to his feet. There was actually a training ground located to the west of the garden.

Kiku smiled as Konna remainedmoest. "Well i guess if th twins wsh to show you...they can...though i prefer they dont fight each other." She stated. Soara raised her eyebrows lookijg at her brother. "Well? What do you think? She asked. She dint care either way but she figured shed ask her brother for once. Something she rarely did.

"Oh heavens no!" Konna blinked and waved her hands in defense. "To be frank, its been a while since I've fought anyone. I'm sure it would be unfair to have to fight the two of you." she smiled. "Seriously?" Yugo blinked, his face completely blank. "This coming from the person whose family is known for their swordsmanship? Matter of fact...didn't you almost jam a blade down Tyren's throat once upon a time?" Yugo asked. Konna nodded and started at Yugo with a wicked grin on her lips. "Those were good times." she smiled before turning back towards the twins. "But no, I'm simply interested in seeing what half...I mean...hybrids can do with my own two eyes thats all." she smiled sweetly. Yugo shifted his gaze over to Kiku. "Well...I dont really mind. If the twins want to its fine."

Soara eyed Konna as she went over her brothers appearance and so on. At the mention of sparing she laughed "Each other or you?" She asked curiously. She didnt mind sparing her brother as they normally tied but Konna would probably kick both their asses. Kiku was curious to the intended opponet as well.

Titus was in his room trying to beat his record for most push ups done. He looked at Soara when she came in and let out a small groan. The last thing he wanted was to meet some 'old' friend of his father's. Sighing softly, Titus got up, cleaned himself off a bit, and turned to follow his sister towards the garden.

"That he is. I'm happy for the both of you. Its not everyday that you meet the person you're destined to spend your life with." Konna stated. Yugo nodded and smiled at Kiku returning her kiss. When Titus came into view, Konna turned around in her seat. Her brow arched ever so slightly as she took in the sight of the young half breed. "Mmm well...I'd say he's a little more lean then what Yugo was at his age...but other then that he looks to be a fine male." Konna grinned. "Uh...thanks?" Titus blinked. For some reason the gaze Konna was giving him totally gave him the creeps. "Tell me Kiku, how exactly where their powers shaped? Forgive me, but I dont know any hybrids so I'm very curious." Konna stated and turned once more towards Titus. "Well, the twins are pretty different. Strangely, Titus somehow inherited the ability to use dark fire. Dont ask me where he got that from though. Soara on the other can use water and ice like her mother. Titus cant though." Yugo explained. "Interesting." Konna stated with a playful grin. She eyes both twins for a moment before turning back to their parents. "Would it be...out of line to ask them to spar?"

Soara turned going to fetch her brother. "Dads gt some chick here that wants to meet you." She informed him before returning to the garden.

Kiku shrugged "its fine youdidnt mean it." She said accepting the apology. Sitting she took yugos hand as he ased Konna about her mate situation. "Yes well as you can see hes a little taken." She teased kissing him lightly. "Im sure you'll find someone fitting thoug."

"Ah, could it be that I've offended you?" Konna asked, her silver hair swaying lightly in the wind as she gazed at Kiku with an amused grin. "Konna..." Yugo frowned. The young wolf, who was actually just a few years older then Nagi, smiled and gave Kiku a short bow. "Forgive. I swear that offending you was not my intention." she state politely. "Soara, find your brother and bring him out here please." Yugo asked, well...more so ordered. While they waited, he offered Konna a seat at their outdoor table and took his seat next to Kiku. "So Konna, I heard that you haven't taken a mate yet. Why is that?" Yugo asked. Konna sat back in her seat. She gazed across at Yugo for a few seconds before lightly shrugging her shoulders. "There have been offers...but none have brought me any interest. It would nice to marry while in love, but I dont have that luxury. I need someone who can bring my kingdom some kind of advantage. Currently, there's no alpha...well...besides you, who could bring my kingdom favor." Konna stated with a coy smile. "Besides, grandfather takes most of my attention."

Soara glanced at herfather ignoring him mostly. "Nice to meet you." She replied. At the mention of her brother she laughed "hes a hot head thats it." She snorted. "You dont want to met him." She assured her. Kiku frowned as Konna took a shot at Nekos. "Not true at all. I fight alone plenty. Wejust recongnize the usefulness of teamwork."

"Soara!" Yugo hissed out. Konna turned around, her brow raised. "Oooh she definitely has a few of your traits Yugo-sama." she laughed softly and extended her hand to the young hybrid. "My name is Konna Okami. You can just call me Konna though. I'll be running things while you and your parents are away." she smiled. Yugo eyed Soara giving her that 'you better be on your best behavior' glare. "So, where is the boy? I imagine he must be pretty strong yes?" Konna asked and turned once more to face Kiku and Yugo. "Yes although he doesn't play nice with others." Yugo sighed deeply. "Is that surprising?" Konna asked, her eyes now on Kiku. "Nekos are mostly solitary warriors no? They only fight together if they have to. Wolves on the other hand rely on one another for survival. IF you mix blood, its understand at least one of your children would have issues with teamwork."

Kiku found all the questions to be a tad out of place. Having no aswers however she allowed Yugo to do all the talking. At the mention of their kids she smiled. "Yes two their twins a boy and a girl." She explained. At the mention of meeting them Soara had appeared. "More like a overbearing father thing..." she muttered. She loked at 'onna "im Soara you?"

"Indeed." Konna smiled softly. "For years the wolves and nekos have been warring against each other. Yugo-sama is the only alpha to successfully stop the fighting. Not only that, he was able to ally all of the surrounding wolf tribes under one banner for the purpose of protecting the southern territories. I'd say that Yugo-sama might just be the best alpha the Ogami had ever had." Konna stated with another one of her dazzling smiles, her crimson hues reflecting much admiration for the alpha. "Well...I dont know...I mean my father was a pretty great leader and my grandfather was the one who established our original territory." Yugo laughed nervously. He personally never felt that in spite of his accomplishments that he was in the same league as his father. "You're too modest. Accept your greatness and be proud hm?" Konna smiled as she walked up to Yugo, but then turned to face Kiku. "May I ask...a personal question?" Yugo blinked for a moment and nodded. "What are you two going to do about the throne? Forgive my forwardness, but the reality is that Yugo-sama cant rule forever." she replied softly. Yugo nodded and closed his eyes for a moment while letting out a deep sigh. "Yes we're working on that. Right now...the plan is that Nagi will take over should anything happen to me. The elder's prolly wont agree since she's 2nd born after all though." he sighed again. "Interesting." Konna mumbled, though more to herself. "You two have offspring yes? Might I meet them?" she asked sweetly. "Well..." Yugo began and shifted his gaze down to Kiku. "I dont see why not...though...we've been having a few issues as of late. You know...the whole teenager thing..."

Kiku tried to enjoy the walk around the castle but she couldnt help but stare at Konna and worry about her intentions. It seemed that she had a secret agenda. When she began to tell the story she gave a small smile. "Souns interesting." She laughed poking at her husband. "Oh dont be all ebarassed you were young." She assured him. As they spoke of his rank she smiled "he earned it thats for sure."

Yugo nodded and smiled as Kiku wrapped her arms around him. Together, they showed Konna all of the castle. They ended the tour in the garden since it was a nice sunny day. "So Kiku, did Yugo-sama ever tell you about the time he stepped into a centipede's hole and cried like a baby?" Konna grinned. Yugo's face turned pale. "Um...we really dont need to talk about that..." he muttered which made Konna's grin widen. "You sure? Its an amazing story. I'm sure your mate would get a kick out of it." the female wolf smirked. "No...we really...really dont need to talk about it..." Yugo stated. "Oh but it was so humerus! I mean, I thought Nagi was a real baby when she was young, but I had never seen a boy cry the way you had that day." Konna teased. Yugo's cheeks turned a dim shade a red. He hadn't even thought about the day in question, but thanks to Konna his memories had returned. "You're evil." Yugo sighed deeply. "Thank you." Konna giggled and gave him a bow. "By the way, I apologize for not congratulating you on officially being accepted as alpha. During that time Grandfather had me pretty busy." Konna replied softly. Yugo shook his head and smiled. "How is the old demon?" he asked. "Mm he's got maybe 20 more years left in him. He wont be around for much longer sadly."

Kiku smild "nice to meet the famous Konna too." She replied. Giving the other girl a slight bow in return. When Konna touched Yugo hoever she frowned wrapping her arms around her husband. "Yes lets sho her around sall we?" She smiled lightly starting the tour of the castle.

"Ah here she is." Yugo smiled and gently took Kiku's hand pulling her next to him. "So the rumors were true." Konna smiled and turned to Kiku bowing her head. "Its an honor to meet you as well. I must admit that when I heard the rumors I assumed then to be false of course." she stated and eyed Kiku with sly grin. "Seriously? Its been so many years and those rumors are still spreading?" Yugo sighed and shook his head slowly from side to side. "Anyway, Kiku here handles all the paper work that I'm...too preoccupied to get done. She's a big credit." Yugo smiled. Konna cocked her head to the side a little. She turned to Yugo flashing him a dazzling smile. "Can I assume that means you've become lazy?" she grinned. Yugo's eyes widened a little. He looked at Kiku with an uneasy smile. "Well...perhaps." he stated. Konna let out a soft laugh and moved closer poking Yugo's chest with her index finger. "Well Well. Some demons just never change do they?" she teased. Yugo let out a soft chuckle. "Well, shall we show you around?" he smiled and shifted his gaze over to Kiku. "I'd like that." Konna smiled and turned to Kiku as well. She was very interested in finding out what was so special about the neko.

Soara looked at Jann nodding as she gave him a kiss on his cheek. "I trust you..." she whispered before falling asleep.

Yugo's suspicions were correct. Soara was seeing Jann behind his back everyday. She tried to pretend that she wasn't happy but once in awhile it came through. Now she was faced with the task of packing as she had won her competition as well. At first she refused to compete but Jann convinced her as he was going on the trip no matter what.

Kiku stood as she was summoned to the throne room. Entering she spotted Konna she put on a polite smile. However her attention was drawn to the fact that she was gorgeous and everyone was staring at her longingly. "You must be Konna. I'm Kiku." she stated stepping forward introducing herself.

"It wont last long." Jann sighed softly and turned to lay on his back. "Just try to deal with it for the remainder of this week. Things will get better, I promise." Jann whispered softly and closed his eyes.

ooc: Just gonna skip the whole week pretty much

ic: The week had gone by so fast for Yugo. The meeting with elder Xing had gone no where. If anything, Yugo had left with more questions then he had before entering. The elder was acting strange, but Yugo had pushed those thoughts aside. All he could think about was his vacation. Unfortunately, once Nagi had gotten wind that Yugo was leaving she practically demanded that he take her with him. Nagi was sick of the castle and wanted to get out before she had the baby. What was suppose to be a trip for just Yugo and Kiku had turned into a family vacation. Even Ama and Daichi were going tag along although Ama didn't have much of a choice. She would have had to go anyway as apart of the tournament the academy was hosting. Naturally, Titus had won his division so he was coming as well.

Yugo had just one more day to make sure everything was in order for Konna's arrival. He expected her to arrive either that day or early in the morning the next. That morning, Yugo was wrapping up a few meetings. He couldn't focus that much though. He had a suspicion that Soara was still seeing JAnn but he had no proof. Suddenly, a messenger came running past the throne room doors. "Yugo-sama, Princess Konna has arrived!" he announced. Yugo looked up nodding and ordered the messenger to find Kiku so he could introduce his mate to his childhood friend. Yugo sat up in his chair now, a small smile forming on his lips. It had been ages since he had last seen Konna. Actually, the last time he had saw her Nagi was still small and cried allot.

"Introducing, Lady Konna Okami!" the guards announced. Out from the door way stepped a slim figure. Long stands of silver hair swayed from side to side as she walked. Her body was dressed in a long teal green kimono with silver trim and silver leaves running down both arms. She gazed up at Yugo, her crimson hues memorizing even the guards. A small grin formed on his luscious lips. This was the air of a true princess, a pure bred wolf demoness. "Greetings Yugo-sama. I'm honored to be called to serve you." she smiled and gracefully bowed her head. Yugo rose to his feet returning her smile. "No no. You're helping me allot by showing up. I know you have your own kingdom to run." he smiled. Konna stood up and shook her head. "Mmm no the honor is truly mine. Besides, this is the capital no? What shall I do if this city falls into chaos?" she laughed softly. Yugo nodded letting out a light laugh of his own. He was impressed. Konna had grown...well...allot. The small girl who had always challenged him to fights was now a sexy demoness with the body of a goddess.

"Yes." Soara replied with a laugh. Returning his kiss she sighed. "I hate this...sneaking around is so troublesome..." she stated. She loved ehr father and hated to disrespect him however she like Jann a lot.

"Just sleeping?" Jann chuckled and raised a brow as he took his shirt off. "Fair enough. However, I'm curious if you'll really be able to keep your hands off." Jann laughed softly. When she returned to his bedside, he leaned in placing a soft kiss on her lips. He had his mind set on keeping Soara. He wasn't going to allow Yugo to get in the way of his happiness.
