You Can't Save Me ((Yugo,Mature))

"Kate?" Shen muttered. His body suddenly reacted. His eyes slowly began to come to life. His neck cracked as he moved it out of its tilted position. "Kate.." he whimpered. Here she was, kneeling right in front of him. Tears began to flow down Shen's cheeks. His arms came to wrap around her body locking her in a secure embrace. He buried his face into her shoulder as he held her, his hands grasping her clothing. Suddenly, Chang kicked the door in. Tini jumped and quickly moved away. "Shit.." Lin muttered as he walked in. His eyes hit Tini like a bullet. "You disobeyed me." he growled. "Yes." Tini answered flatly and shifted her gaze over to Kate. "Nothing you've done has really worked..." she stated, tho muttered the last part.

Kathrine looked at her like she was nuts. She looked back at Shen and tilted his head a little. "Shh...shh" She hushed him as he mummbled whatever he was saying. She let out a light uneasy sigh and leaned closer to Shen, running her fingers along his lips before slowly pressing her lips to his. She held it for a few second before pulling back and looked back at Tini. "I didnt feel anything" She said with a confused expression

Tini pressed her back into the door to keep it shut. "Look, you want answers right? Well he's not talking. Kiss him and maybe you'll feel something. No, you will feel something I promise." Tini pleaded, tho inside she wasn't even sure if a kiss would work. "Tini!" Called Lin from the other side. "Open this door at once. I swear I'll have Chang break it down if you dont get out the way!"

"What??" She exclaimed and almost fell back. "I'm not going to kiss him, I dont even know him" She said. She looked back at Shen's blank stare and ran her fingers along his cheek. "Hello..?" She said softly, her fingers running up and through his hair. "Wake up" She said, her voice a bit softer as her other hand slid along his cheek again. "Hello....?" She said, lightly tapping his face. "Your not dead are you?" She asked

"Yes he's chinese, obviously." Tini frowned. She was constantly peeking outside. "Damnit...um...kiss him or something!" she exclaimed and shifted her gaze over to Kate. "Listen, you two are like madly in love. You're hot for each other. Maybe a kiss will bring him back." She suggested and once again left out a few critical details. Meanwhile, Shen sat in his chair, his gaze still distant. He wasn't reacting to the sound of Kate's voice or her touches. "Damnit.." Tini spat and closed the door. "Lin and Chang are coming!"

"Shen?" She questioned and looked at the man. "What a wierd name....is it chinese?" She asked and blinked as she told her to talk to him. She looked back to Shen and knelt in front of him. "Um....hello?" She said while lightly shaking his shoulder. "Are....you okay?" She asked while still shaking him some more. "Hello earth to...um... Shen" She said and looked back to Tini. "What good does it do to have me doing this..." She asked

"He was shot. He...also went through some mental stress..." tini stated, avoiding the major details. "His name is Shen Li. He's a doctor. You met him last year I think." she explained and moved to guard the door. Shen didn't move an inch. He didn't even look up. He was muttered something tho, something soft. It wasn't clear tho. Meanwhile, Tini opened the door to peek out. When she was sure that no one was coming she sighed in relief. "Tap him, he in some sort of trance. Try talking to him and hurry."

Kathrine followed her and blinked when she was suddenly pushed into a dark small room. When she was allowed out she lightly glared at her before wollowing her the rest of the way. When they entered the room Kathrine's violet hues looked at Shen then at Tini. "Is he okay?" She asked before looking back to him. "Who is this again?" She asked as she leaned over, looking at Shen's blank stare

Tini was able to get her out of the room. They were hurrying down the hall, but suddenly Tini froze. She pushed Kate into a random door and moved to cover its entrance. "Hey Chang." She smiled. The man eyed her and stopped. "Why aren't you working on Kate?" he asked. "Lin said to get ready to move her." she lied. Chang nodded. He had to much going on to question what Tini was doing. After he left, Tini opened the door and pulled Kate out the closet. "Sorry." she apologized and grabbed her hand. She led Kate into the room Shen was being kept in. He wasn't tied up anymore. No, he sat with his back against his chair, his head tilted slightly to the side, his eyes void of color.

Kathrine eyed her as she left and ate the food, not realizing just how hungry she was. When Tini came back with the clothes she put pulled the robe off her and blinked looking down at her body, seeing multple bruises... had she been beaten? She put the clothes on and zipped the hoodie just above her breasts. "Ready..." She said, still a bit wary. She followed Tini without saying a word though as she had been instructed

Tini looked down. She had forgotten that Kate was still in her robe. "Ok. I'll go get you some. In the mean time eat your food. Also, stay quiet when its time to pull you out. Let me do the talking." She insisted and stepped out. She had quick conversation with the guards. It took some major lying to get them to agree to let her pass with Kate. When she came back, she slid into the room and tossed Kate some sweat pants and a hoodie. "Sorry I dont have a top..or a bra for you." he stated. "The hoodie zips all the way up tho."

Kathrine's body became tense as Tini came in. She pulled her feet back as Tini set the tray down and lightly glared at her. She blinked as Tini talked about a man who loved her. "What are you talking about... She sat there quiet for a long time thinking. If someone loved her...then...they would know who she was...."O-okay...." She said and looked down. "But...can....I get some clothes..." She said lightly

"KAte?" Came the soft sound of Tini's voice. She was a carrying a small tray between her hands. She had a sandwich and some fruit for her to eat. "I'm you've gotta be starved. Here, eat up." she whispered and placed the tray down in front of her. She took a few steps back after that and leaned against the wall. "Kate...would you like to meet the man who loves you?" Tini asked. She was going against shen orders, but nothing else had worked so why not? "I know you dont remember, but theres a man who loves, who wants you in his life. Would you like to at least meet him?"

After a few hour alone Kathrine started to get hungry, but was too afraid to go and ask for something to eat. Any time Tini had tried coming in to talk to her Kathrine just yelled for her to get out. She had yet to fully accept that she didnt know who she was. She sat on the bed re thinking all that...Lin, and Tini had told her, but none of it sounded familiar or made sense to her

"What do we do?" Chang asked. Lin, who had his face in his hands, let out a long drawn out sigh. "Post two guards at her door. Tini, I want you to keep trying to reach her. Under no circumstances is she to speak to Shen. He'll tear this place down and kill us all." Lin mumbled. "Are you sure? Wouldn't it be better to let her see him? Maybe he could reach her." Tini pointed out. "I dont wanna take the risk. Her memory is gone. She wont remember him. Right now we just need to give her some time alone. Problem is I had planned for us to move out in an hour. Fuck!!!" Shen spat and slammed his fist right through a wall

Kathrine watched them like a cornered wolf, ready to strike if needed. As he back off and got the other two to do the same she eased up a little and eyed him. She thought his offer over briefly before nodded, staying where she sat against the floor while looking up at him, then Tini, then to Chang, her violet hues completely lost. When they finally left the room she put her head against her arms and tried thinking for a moment before she finally burst into tears. How could she not know...who she was....why didnt she remember...what happened to her, who was she, and why was she here....

"Ok ok.." Lin whispered and backed off. He ordered Chang and Tini to do the same so Kate could have some space. "My name is Lin. I'm the boss here." he explained. "This is Chang, he's my number 2. This is Tini, she...serves me in various ways. Right now she's been taking care of you." he stated and lowered his hands. "Tell you what...we're gonna leave you for a bit ok. But, in exchange you have to stay in this room ok?"

Kathrine flinched and inched herself back into the corner as much as she could. She looked at him but didnt really respond to her name. She pushed his hand off her knee and threw the pillow at him. "Dont touch me!" She yelled. She looked at him and shook her head. "NO...its not....nothing is...." She whimpered and grabbed her head. "Who am I...!" She whimpered. She was far too panicked to compromise or listen to reason at the moment. She looked at Lin again, none of them looked familiar at all.... "Who....who are you..." She said

Tini had to tackle Kate to the ground to keep her from running. She huffed and puffed as she drug the girl back into the room. Once inside, Tini wiped her forehead. She just happened to catch a glimpse of herself in the mirrior and noticed that Kate had torn her top near the shoulder. "Great." she sighed. Her eyes shot over towards Kate. She had a hard time staying mad at her tho. The poor girl looked like a frightened child. After a minute or two Lin came walking in. He took on look at Kate and closed his eyes. "Damnit..." he mumbled under his breath. "Kate?" Lin whispered. He took a knee in front of her and slowly extended his hand to brush along her knee. "No one is gonna hurt you ok? You're safe here." he promised, tho it was a lie. "Listen, your name is Kathrine Burrows. Does that ring a bell?"

"L-let go of me!" Kathrine yelled when Tini grabbed hold of her. "S-stop it, let me go" She said while fighting Tini's grasp. Her timid violet hues looked up at Chang as he walked arounf the corner. Her hues widened as she pushed Tini off of her and tired to bolt, but fell as Tini stopped her. "L-let go of me!" She yelled, fighting Tini every inch of the way back to their room. When Tini managed to get her in she curled herself up in a corner, clinging to a pillow...as if that was going to help her.

"Wait!!" Tini cried and dashed out after her. When she found her, she grabbed Kate by her arm. "Listen I know you're freaking out but I need you to come back ok?" Tini requested and started pulling on her arm. "Whats going on here?!" Came the sound of Chang's booming voice. When he saw Kate, he paused. His eyes hit the ground. He had heard about what happened to her. Inside his heart he felt just as guilty for her suffering. "Chang..we've got a problem." Tini muttered and locked her arms around Kate's so she wouldn't bolt. "What?" Chang asked, tho was afraid to. "She doesn't know who she is. She doesn't even remember shen." she stated. "Oh shit..." Chang muttered. He pressed his hands to his face. This had the potential to screw up their plans. "Keep from Shen no matter what! I'll go get Lin. Take her back to the room pronto!"

Kathrine looked at the girl completely confused. "Who are you talking about...that....I dont remember....I dont know what you talking about!" She yelled and opened the door and ran out. She looked around completely lost. She found a vending machine and saw her relfection in the glass. She looked at herself confused. "Is....that me..." She asked while touching her face. She pressed her hands to her head, trying to remember something...anything...her name... "Kathrine......Kathrine..." She repeated but it didnt sound right to her

"Wait...what???" Tini blinked. She stared hard at Kate. The girl was acting weird. As she scrambled against the door Tini slowly got up and raised her hands in defense. "Easy hun. I'm not your enemy." she stated as softly as possible. "Do you remember a man named Shen? You told me he was your teacher once. You know, he's got dark black hair, light brown eyes, a real looker. You two fell in love. You told me that you lived with him for a little while..." Tini explained. She feared the worse had happened. "Your name is Kathrine. I'm sorry but I dont know your last name. If you just calm down..and take a seat I can bring my boss here to talk to you. Maybe he can clear a few things up."

"T-Tini... a...a what base?.....Who's Lin...who...who am I?" She asked and looked down at her hands again. Her mind...had done more then just erase the last few hours...her mind couldnt put up with everything up to the point where it completely reset itself to keep her body from giving out from all the stress and anxiety. She pulled away from Tini and stood up, stumbling back into the wall. She was scared, confused. "S-stay away from me..." She said shakily

Tini was humming lightly while Kate slept. She was sitting in a chair reading a magazine when she heard KAte began to stir. "You ok sweetie?" She asked and placed her magazine down to the side. She got up and placed her hands on Kate's shoulders to keep her from moving. "My name is Tin-Tin." she replied softly. The girl stared down at Kate. She had seen this before. She figured Kate must have forced herself to forget the last few hours of her life. "You can call me Tini tho." She smiled warmly and moved to sit down beside Kate. "You're in a Triad base. You were brought here to help our boss, Lin."
