Fire & Ice II: Age of Rebirth(private/mature/continued)

"Hoho...does someone need an attitude adjustment?" Konna grinned and suddenly rose to her feet. He ordered the guards to step and instead she walked right up to Soara giving her a sadistic grin. "Careful little girl. You're a bit too young to get on my bad side. I dont care if you are Yugo-sama's daughter. I will not be spoken to with such disrespect." Konna stated. Noel let out a hard laugh. He placed his hand over his chest as he stared up at Konna. "You demons are funny. You all act all high and mighty but underneath all that bullshit you're the same as humans." he smirked. That got Konna's attention. "You all are just sorry excuses for dogs." he stated. Ama stood in shock. "Of all the things to say..." she muttered knowing full well that no one could get away calling a wolf a dog or mutt. Konna however didn't get mad. She didn't even scream. Titus grabbed Kora pulling her back as he took a big step backwards. "This is gonna be bad.." he muttered. Konna smiled kindly down at Noel. "Are you finished?" she asked. Noel blinked and simply stared at her. "So you are then? Good." Konna smiled sweetly before jamming her foot into Noel's crotch!! The human's lips parted as he released a scream that could easily be heard throughout the castle. "Oh my...I think I just took away your ability to reproduce..." Konna stated and looked up at Kora. "Did you have anything to say as well human? Please speak. I'll hear you out."

Soara glared at Konna. "You shouldn't even technically be ruling. That throne should be ours. You only have it becasue we are half breeds." she snapped. "If you remember this happened with our parents too. They took prisoners of war." she pointed out. "Not everyone needs to die." she looked at Titus. "I want to as well. Or at least our mother." she stepped in front of Noel's body so the guards couldn't reach him.

"Silence human!" Konna snapped, her fangs baring down at the girl. Titus scratched the back of his head. He wasn't good at dealing with Konna so he let Soara do most of the talking. "Like I said." Konna frowned and sat back against the throne again. "Its not your job to interpret whats best for our people. Humans are beneath us, however your grandfather was kind enough to grant them territory to live on within our lands. Now, they're rising up against us. Examples need to be made. We cant afford to go soft in this case. Unless you've forgotten, thanks to you THREE the dragon's Empire is baring its fangs. This is the capital of Yugo-sama's tribe. This city is a symbol of strength. How would we look if we showed mercy to those who set out with the intent to kill our kind??" Konna asked and slowly shook her head from side to side. "Well if you dont want to thats your choice." she stated with a heavy sigh. She snapped her fingers and the two guards that were standing beside her stepped up with their swords in hand. "I wanna talk to my dad." Titus frowned, his hands now stuffed into his pockets. "Your dad is dying. He doesn't need extra stress." Konna explained and closed her eyes feeling board with the conversation.

Soara stared at Konna as she listened to their reasons. At the mention of Noel being troublesome she shook her head. "He might have vital information did you think of that?" she asked. When she finally said to kill them Soara didn't move. "That's not fair..." she muttered. "We're no better than they think we are fi we do this." she replied.
Kora's eyes widened when Konna said kill them. "I didn't do anything wrong! I wasn't a fighter!" she yelled. "you're killing me for soemtyhing out of my control?"

ooc: Dragging him would have been brutal, but just as funny lol

ic: Konna took in everything that Soara had to say. Before making her judgement though her eyes shifted over to Titus waiting for his explanation. Titus scratched the back of his head. His hair was still spiky, but his ponytail had gotten longer and now went down to his mid back. "I well...killing a defenseless girl leaves a bad taste in my mouth...so...thats about it." he stated. Ama pressed her palm into her face. Konna raised a brow giving both Soara and Titus an amused grin. She sat back, her claws lightly scratching the arms of the throne. "Well..I told myself when I woke up this morning I'd have a boring day...but it seems you two have brought me some entertainment." Konna smiled, her red eyes shifting over Noel's body. "So this is what a demon slayer looks like in person? He's cute. Its too bad he's human." she stated with almost a purr. Noel shivered. "Anyway, regardless of your personal feelings you went against orders. You two are soldiers. More importantly, you're officers. Its not your job to question orders. Your job is to carry them out. How can we expect our foot soldiers to obey if our officers wont?" Konna asked and was pretty relaxed considering what the situation was. "A demon slayer who has a pendent that sucks in energy...such a thing is troublesome. We have no need for a human like that. As for the girl..." Konna trailed off, her eyes shifting over Kora too. "Whether she's a girl or not she was still on the battle field yes? I doubt anyone forced her to go with the army. Even if she was, it doesn't matter." Konna sighed deeply and closed her eyes. "Execute them." she suddenly ordered, her crimson eyes narrowing as the air within the room turned deadly. "Your mission was to punish the humans who had turned against us. Finish your mission and I might just overlook this...mistake in judgement."

ooc: it was that or have her drag him haha. I have never heard that song but the signature scares me haha.

ic: Soara felt him stir and looked down into his eyes. "Oh stop it. You can't walk yet I haven't healed you that much." she snapped. Approaching the castle she looked straight ahead knowing better than to make eye contact right now. Arriving she stared at Konna. "Well I would love to explain. This soldier was practically unkillable." she set him down. "He has a pendant that sucks up our powers and he has a amazing determination. I couldn't bring myself to kill him. And the war has destroyed everything he has I believe...I just showed some mercy if we are mindless killers than we are no better than them." she explained.

Kora Stayed right next to him as he excorted her through the town. In the castle she stared at Konna not sure what Titus was going to say.

ic: Noel had passed out from the pain. By the time they had reached the city gates he began to stir slightly. His eyes fluttered open, his head titling to the side a little as he took in his surroundings. Suddenly, his big blue eyes shot open! He was being carried...and by a girl. "Put me down! Get your stinking hands off me!!!" Noel yelled and started wiggling in her arms. Titus was following Soara, his hand still grasping Kora's. "Stay close." he ordered as they passed through the market place. Under Konna's lead the capital had been expanded. There were three new districts and the market place had gotten a much needed makeover. As they walked eyes began to follow Soara and titus. It was bad enough that they were half breeds. Now, they were bringing humans into a demon city.

When they reached the castle Ama released all of their men and ordered them to rest in the barracks. She took Soara and titus directly into the thrown room where Konna was sitting. The she wolf had gotten pretty comfortable on Yugo's throne and had basically been running the kingdom for the last 17 years. Yugo had given her complete authority so even Nagi had to answer to her from time to time. "What have we hear?" Konna blinked, her head tilting to the side with a curious gaze. "These two idiots refused to follow orders and brought them along for the ride. I need to speak to uncle Yu-san." Ama stated. Konna shook her head. "Yugo-sama had another one of his bad fits. He started sweating and for a moment he stopped breathing. His body...I dont think it will last that long." Konna replied softly, her eyes closing for a moment. "So..." Konna sighed, her eyes opening to take in the humans. "Soara, Titus..why dont you two explain yourself and I'll decide if punishment is needed."

Soara smirked satisfied when Ama finally gave in. "That's fine I'll take him." she replied. She bent down lifting him into her arms. He seemed like nthing compared to most things she could lift. She started to follow the soldiers and heal the boys wounds at the same time. It would take several days of healing.

Kora glared at Titus as he yanked her forward "YOu could be more gentle you know." she snapped. "But I guess I should thank you for saving my life. So thanks." she muttered.

"I'm so sick of both of you..." Ama growled as her men and Titus' men came back to join them. "Fine, but the humans are your responsibility. You're the ones who will explain why for the first time humans are walking into the capital too." Ama snapped. Titus simply shrugged his shoulders and looked down at Noel. "He looks like shit...I doubt he can walk." he replied softly. "Not my problem." Ama stated and a wave of her hand. She turned to the other troops ordering them to move out. Titus stepped over Noel's body again, as if he were lower then dirt. He walked over to Kora grabbing her roughly by the hand. "Lets go." he ordered. Behind her Bruno stood, his mouth practically watering. Meanwhile, Noel was going through a state of shock. No one seemed to care that being zapped again and again had fried allot of his nerves. It would take allot of high level healing to get him up and walking.

Soara fell back s Ama kicked her. "So! Hes no use to them no hes injured. Just leave him alon fo gods sake show some restraint!" She yelled. When Titus appeared she looked at him. He also had a human with him. His however wasnt. Soldir it was a nurse. "Just letmy father decide." She snapped. "We bring tem bac and see what he says.l

Kora felt Titus grip her hand. "Wht are you doing!?" She exclaimed. However se wasnt stupid and didnt fight. As he let go she stood where he said and didnt moe.

"Am I not getting through to you? The order was given by YOUR father. You were there. He told us to kill everyone and it was as plain as day. You're just making excuses because you dont have the nerve to take a life." Ama spat and raised her blade so that it was no pointing to Soara. "I'm sick of this. Stand aside or I WILL take you down and arrest you. I dont care if you are my family or not. You and Titus have gotten on my last nerve!" Ama hissed. Noel laid on the ground, his blue eyes shifted up to Ama as he let out a soft chuckle. "What do we have here? Heh, what kind of commander cant even control her own troops?" he laughed as blood continued to trickle down his lips. Ama's eyes turned into slits! She wouldn't be mocked, not by a human. She slammed her foot into Soara's shield pushing her back and fired off several lightning shots into Noel's right arm, left arm, and his left leg. "You just lost the ability to use your limbs. Got anything else to say?" she frowned. Noel was gasping! The pain was so great that he could hardly breath. Once again the pendent he wore absorbed allot of the energy from the lightning but it did very little to take away the pain that came from being stabbed by lightning.

Titus stared at the girl. Bruno was rubbing his face. Looking up, Titus knew that the wolf would eat her if given the chance. Sighing, he grabbed Kora by her hand and started pulling back towards what was left of the battle field. "Shut up and follow along." he ordered. Bruno let out a grunt. Titus owed him one now.

"Not you too..." Ama sighed in defeated when she saw Titus come into view with yet another human. Titus blinked and looked over at Soara then down to Noel who looked liked he was on death's bed. "Dont run." Titus ordered looking back at Kora as he released her hand and basically stepped over Noel's body. "She's not a fighter." He explained to Ama. The major pressed her hand into her palm. "We have orders. The both of you will carry them out." she breathed and looked up. Titus defiantly stuffed his hands into his pockets. "I dont care. I wont kill some defenses human female who wasn't even fighting..." he stated. "Titus look at her clothes!" Ama screamed while pointing to Kora. "She's wearing the uniform of a medic. She heals the sick and injured therefore she's just as dangerous as the idiot who carries a sword. She was traveling with this army and therefore is subject to the same treatment you jackass!"

Soara growled as Ama forced her behind her. Watching as her cousin approached the boy. "My father wouldn't have wanted us to be merciless killers! Kicking someone when they are down is a cowardful act." she snapped. "I say we bring him back and let my father decide. He coudl be of some use you know." she walked up made a shield of ice that she held in front of the boy.

"Stop lickign me you bastard!" Kora hissed kneeing him in the face as she swayed forward. WHen he dropped ehr she let out a grunt. Standing she dusted herself. off. "DO I look like a soldier?" she asked gesturing at her appearence. "At least you have the decentsy to not eat me." she muttered.

"My god..." ama growled and yanked Soara behind her. "This was an order from your father, our alpha! His army marched into our lands! They were given warnings and ignored them. Then to make matter worse people like him were hired for the purpose of killing us. Look around you Soara. All but two of your men are dead!" Ama snapped and turned around nailing Noel in the face with a swift kick. After that, Noel didn't get back up. He stared up at the sky as blood dribbled down his lips. Ama stepped over him forming a blade of ice between her hands. "Dont blame me human. Blame your own stupid greed." Ama stated as she held the tip of the blade right above Noel's neck.

"She's got fire! She'll make for some good eating." Bruno laughed and continued to slowly lick up and down her leg savoring the flavor. "Hey put her down..." Titus muttered, though it was too low for Bruno to hear. "Eh?" the big wolf blinked. "I said put her down jackass!!" Titus roared and slammed his fist into Bruno's gut forcing him to drop the girl. The big wolf leaned over taking a few steps back. "You little cunt..." he hissed, his eyes turning red. Titus didn't look impressed though. He turned to the girl sniffing her a little. "She doesn't smell like the rest. Was she even a soldier??" Titus blinked. Bruno stood up straight shrugging his shoulders. "Does it matter? We're suppose to kill em all anyway."

Soara stood and brushed herself off. "What do yout hink I was trying to do? He just won't die." she muttered. She pulled out her knife but paused as he was sittign up on his knees again. s he yelled at them she flinched. Dropping hte knife she looked at Ama. "No...we're no better than what they say we are if we kill them all." she snapped.

"Put me down!" Kora screamed as seh swung at the demon. Feeling his tongue against her bare flesh made her skin crawl. "You animal!" she hollered. She continued to try and land a punch but was unsuccessful. Looking up she spotted the younger demon that approached her. "You better let me go!" she snarled.

The jewel around his neck continued to glow. It was constantly feeding on the energy Ama had released through her lightning but wasn't enough to protect Noel from injure. When Soara gave him the photo back he gripped it tightly, his blood staining it. "Well hurry up and kill him." Ama ordered with an annoyed expression. "I told you to be careful when you were fighting the demon slayers. There's no reason why just one should have given you this much trouble." she frowned. Suddenly, Noel rose up onto his knees. He glared daggers at the girls. His weapons had been kicked off to the side but it didn't matter, he'd fight them bare handed if he had to. "No more.." he muttered, his breaths becoming shorter and shorter. "You demons...when will it be enough? When your thirst for blood be satisfied?!" Noel yelled. Ama turned around, her brow raising. She raised her index finger towards his right leg and shot Noel with another blast of lightning. The human went down like a ton of bricks, his hand grasping his leg as he screamed bloody murder. "How annoying.." Ama sighed and shifted her gaze over to Soara once more. "Kill him so we can go home."

"No opinion? Hmm..ok raw it is then." the wolf smirked and grabbed hold of one of Kora's legs. He yanked her right off the ground and lifted her up so she was upside down. He leaned in running his lounge wet tongue up along one of her thighs. "Mmm you taste like fear." he chuckled. "Bruno what the hell?" Came the sound of Titus' voice. He stepped over a few trees Bruno had knocked over. "You were suppose to chase after the one's who retreated. What the hell are you doing here?" Titus asked, but stopped when he saw the girl he had captured. "I found lunch. You want the breast meat?" Bruno grinned. Titus closed his eyes sighing deeply. He walked up to the girl as Bruno held her up. He had to pause though. He hadn't expected to be so...so beautiful..

Soara pulled his hands off of her neck but not befoer eh had turned them over. "And you've taken things from me!" she nsapped back. Then the boy was off of her and on the ground as Ama had struck him with lightning. Soara groaned as she rubbed her neck before sitting up. "He had salts and some necklace that weakened their powers." she explained. She sawt he picture and looked at it. It was a nice picture that was for sure. It reminded her of how her family used to be. She jumped when the boy spoke. "How are you still alive?" she asked. IT was a miracle. She handed him the picture however as she had no use for it.

Kora stopped as the demon jumped out in front of her before punching her and sending her to the forest floor. She groaned, one of her ribs was defenitly broken. She grabbed her side as she started to crawl away while she coughed up blood.

Noel let out a pained hiss as he was tackled. He looked up at Soara and immediately placed his hands around her neck trying to fight her off. "I wont die...no. You demons have taken enough from me!" he spat and rolled them over. With him on top, he pinned her arms into the dirt. For a human he was pretty strong. Suddenly, a fierce bolt of lightning slammed into his body. Noel's eyes rolled back as surges of electricity ran through his entire body. He collapsed, falling down to the side of Soara. "Whats going on here?" Ama frowned, her eyes darting towards all the dead demon bodies and the two that were out cold. "Please dont tell me it took all of you just to deal with one human.." Ama blinked, her right eye twitching a little. As Noel had collapsed a small photo had dropped from inside his clothes ontop of Soara's chest. It was a picture of a younger version of himself, a small girl, and an old woman. They all looked so happy.."Give it back..." Noal breathed as he turned onto his stomach. Sparks were still surging through his body causing him pain beyond belief. Still, he crawled up to Soara stretching his hand out. "Give it back..that..doesn't belong to you. Give it back!!"

"Boo!" the wolf grinned appearing next to her side slamming his fist into her body. "Oh no! I forgot just how fragile you humans are. My meal will be ruined if you're too broken up." he grinned as he took off what little armor he had. "Lets see...how should I eat you? I dont really like raw meat that much..though it has been a while since I've tasted human. What do you think girl? Would you rather be roasted or eaten raw???"

Soara stared at the boy. He was different that was for sure. NEver had even a demon slayer lasted this long against demons. WHen he lifted his sword she sighed. "You shouldn't do this." she shook her head. "THe more you prolong it the worse it's going to be." she warned. When he pulled out the salt she jumped back plugging her nose. "You little bastard!" she hissed lunging forward she knocked the sword form his hand before tackling him to the ground.

Kora ontinued to run as the man chased her through the woods. She looked back as the fireballs began to hurl towards her. She quickly dodged them. One nicked her arm though. "Ah!" she screamed as her skin was injured.

Blood was blurring the human's vision. He stumbled forward, his hands gripping his blades. The two warriors that Soara had left backed her up. They couldn't believe that they had to fight together just to take out one lowly human! As Soara charged him he stood his ground ready to defend. He raised his blades ready to absorb the impact of her attack. From Soara's left one of her men sprang forward. The human threw one of his blades at her, which was dodged. It didn't matter though. the human reached into his pocket pulling out some dust and blew it in Soara's and her men direction. "Gah!!" one her of her men gagged. The scent was unlike anything they had smelled before, a mix of rotten garbage and...catnip?

"Haha I love a good chase!" he smiled and closed his fists as she began to run. "Lets see ya dodge these little girl!" he smirked and started shooting several huge sized fire balls towards the woods. He rushed forward with the biggest grin on his lips. He loved toying with his victims and continued to hurl fire balls at her.

Soara was surprised tat this human wasstil so determined. She shook hr head. "I'm sory but those arent my orders." She sighed. However she stopped as the ice began to melt. "What the hell?" She growled. She could fee the jewel sucking at their demonic energy. "Thats fine i dont need it to defeat you!" She pulled out her sword and charged at him.

The girl fell back as the demon appeared in front of her. "I'm not even in the army." She yelled. At his staement she turned trying to run. "You're pathetic!" She screamed before getting back to her feet. She sprinted towards the woods for being a human she was extremely fas.

The human let out a chilled cry as ice surrounded his waist and arms. He looked at Soara bearing his teeth. "No...I wont die!" he cried out. Just then, the topaz colored jewel he wore on a necklace around his neck emitted a bright light. The ice around his arms and legs melted! Soara's men took a step back. They suddenly felt their demonic energies being drained. The human let out a fearsome cry. One by one, he slayed her men until there were only two left. The two immediately moved beside Soara. "What the hell is he?" one spat and gripped her injured arm. "That necklace...its absorbing our energy..fucking demon slayer..." the other spat.

Meanwhile, Titus and his crew were cleaning up. Ama had instructed him to go after the ones who had retreated. No one was to live. While Titus handled that, Ama watched as her squad killed the final remaining demon slayers. Now, the feudal lord stood with only a few of his personal guards. "Y-You cursed wench!!!" he yelled as he drew his long sword above his head. Ama pointed her index finger towards him. Suddenly, a spear of ice shot appeared in front of him and impaled his right foot. The lord didn't even have time to cry out. In a flash Ama was in his face, her index finger now pointing firmly against his chest right above where his heart was. He gazed into Ama's eyes as blood flowed past his lips. Suddenly a violent streak of lighting tore right through the lords body!!! He stumbled back, his chest smoking. There was nothing but a narrow hole in place of where his heart had once been..

"My My what have we here?" One of Titus' men smirked as he caught sight of the girl. He jumped up and landed right in front of her. The demon stood 7'8 and was easily the largest wolf present. "You know I like humans. I like to eat them." He grinned and licked his lips. His mouth began to water as he threw his head back and let out a hard laugh.

Soara stopped as her men caled her. Looking up she noticed he was right. They had done their job rather well. Se looked toward the remaining deon slayer and sighed. Though soon two more of her men went down. "You hver determination...i'll give you that." She shrugged. Icerose around his waste and arms. "Sadly i can't take prisoners..." she said sincerely. She didnt want to kill this incredbly handsome human.

As the men closed in on he feudal lord a small human could be seen running about. She was tryingto find anyone slightly alive. Howver she didnt find any. She felt dispair grpping at her as she was almost alone. These demons had killed almost everyone.

ooc: A nurse would be pretty good. And when I say grunt, I mean he's new/low ranking, but can still kick ass XD

ic: Ama was perched ontop of a rock that over looked the valley. So far everything was going according to plan. Most of the demon slayers were bunching up around the feudal lord. The rest of the army was in chaos as the officers were killed off first. "Now." Ama ordered and rose to her feet. She clapped her hands together, her eyes flashing strong shades of red. The sky above suddenly turned jet black. Ama looked up pointing towards the center of the incoming storm. To be honest, she felt no joy in killing humans, but she had orders. "Release" She ordered, her demonic aura flowing like wild fire all around her. Suddenly, the largest bolt of lightning that any of the humans had ever seen came crashing down onto the battle field! It all happened so fast...in the blink of an eye most of the soldiers surrounding the feudal lord had been eliminated. Only a few of the demon slayers remained. Ama's squad rushed in. Ama wanted to kill off the demon slayers first followed by the Feudal lord himself. Once he was dead the others would fall like flies.

Meanwhile towards the front, most of the soldiers had already been wiped out by Soara's men. A few had retreated the moment that the lines began to fall apart. "Soara, we're about finished here." One of her men stated as he wiped away the blood from his face. "We loss two of our guys. Those demon slayers were nasty.." he sighed deeply, but then suddenly shifted his gaze to the right. Apparently there was one left. Soara's squad had formed a circle around him. The human stood at 5'11. He had medium length brown hair and bright blue eyes. As a few of Soara's men went in for an attack, he jumped up twirling his dual blades in a sweeping motion that cut the two demons down. The human landed on the ground, blood trickling down the right side of his face. He leaned over ready to give into exhaustion. "I wont die..not like this.." he told himself and looked up. There was a fierce sense of determination within his hues. He gripped his dual blades tightly as blood continued to run down his face and arms..

Ic: Soara continud the onslaugh with her men as Titus and his squad came in as well. They continued to slughter the men as her father had instructed. soara paused for a minue as her men seemed t have it under control. However she didnt stop for long before starting back up. Did her faher even want any prisoners? She was pretty sure he said kill them all. Though she would do whatever Ama instructed.

ooc: This is where the taboo part comes in. I wanna introduce 2 love interests, one for Titus and one for Soara. The one for Soara is gonna be a demon slayer, but he's kinda like a grunt. Would you mind playing the girl for Titus? She can be a demon slayer, maybe a priestess, or whatever you want lol

ic: The men who were marching on the front lines groaned. They had slept all night, but most of them had been kept awake by the fear of demons roaming through the forest. Each and everyone of them knew that they had broke past the barrier which had been marked by the Ogami. Each of them knew that the wolves would come out in force, but the Feudal Lord insisted that the age of demons was long over. The land belonged to him and they'd kill anyone who stood in his way. "Hey..whats that?" One of the soldiers blinked. The demon slayers who were leading the army on horse back took out their scopes. "Shit.." one of them spat and raised a flag. "Incoming demons!! Take your positions!!" the other yelled. Meanwhile, word had spread throughout the army. One of the commander rode up on his horse to inform the feudal lord. "Your Majesty we're under-" he yelled just before his head was ripped right off his shoulders by Titus! His men sprang up from the surrounding trees. The demon slayers who were guarding the feudal lord formed a defensive circle around him. The rest of the soldiers were left to the mercy of Titus' men..
