ic: Titus had been gone for at least thirty minutes. The forest around Kora seemed to come alive in that time. Birds were singing high above Kora's head. Suddenly, there was a low grunt off to the right. The noise was coming from an area that was surrounded by thick brush. The sounds of hard footsteps could be hard getting closer..closer..and closer! Suddenly, a massive horned beast sprung out from the brush!! It groaned and moaned before falling to the ground. Just then, its body sprung up again, but flipped over! "Damn this thing was heavy.." Titus groaned coming out from under the carcass. He his arm over his forehead wiping away the blood and sweat that came from carrying the animal. "I couldn't find any rabbits. But I did get lucky and find this guy." he smirked and yanked on the deer's antlers showing off the 8 points. "Whats wrong?" Titus blinked, his smile dropping a little. "You look like you just saw a ghost.."

Ooc: gonna skip them till they catch up i guess

Ic: kora's eyes widened at him as his arm became ingulfed in flames. "Woah!" She yelled. Covering her face as he hit the ground with the flame. "That is impressive. She said with a grin. She watched as Titus went off she went closer to the fire as she felt a little cold.

"Much." Noel frowned. As he speed increased, he found himself clinging to her more and more. His own brown hair was blowing backwards. He leaned more around her back, his arms wrapping tightly around her and lightly pressing into the sides of her breasts. Though, the faster she ran the more his arms pressed into them. Noel didn't notice though. He was too busy trying to keep track of their direction. After a little while he pointed a little further south. If they were lucky they'd be able to catch up with Titus by night fall assuming that he was going to stop for the night.

"Fire?" Titus blinked before stepping forward giving Kora a wicked grin. "I see. You dont know who I am do you?" He smirked and stretched out his right hand. Bright, hot flames suddenly shot out going up to his wrist. He aimed at he ground shooting out an intense blast and in no time their fire was raging. "You just sit tight. Dont move from this spot. I'll be back soon." Titus stated before jumping back into tree tops and taking off.

Soara smirekd as she knew taht her hair was hitting him in the face now. She decided to be nice to him even though he wasn't to her. Reaching back she tied back her hair. "Better?" she asked. Speeding up a litte more trying to catch up to her brother as quick as possible.

"Uh huh...i don't consider almost dying fun." Kora replied. Sitting against a tree trunk she nodded at him. "Sounds good to me." she mumbled. "Do you want me to build a fire then?" she asked. Figuring they would have to cook the meat.

Noel let out a low groan. If he had known it would have felt this awkward to ride piggyback he would have made Soara beg a little more. However, not even he was expecting her to speed off the way she had. Her black(?) hair swept back into his face making it hard for him to see. "This must be payback. She could have at least tied her hair into a ponytail or something..." Noel thought to himself as he fought to keep her hair out of his mouth.

Titus let out a hard laugh. He walked up to Kora giving her a gentle pat on her shoulder. "Oh dont be such a square. Whats life without a little fun?" he smirked, though soon turned serious. "Alright I'm going to see if I can get a few rabbits. We've covered allot of ground today and its already noon. How close would you say we are, a day or two maybe?"

Soara waited as he climbed onto her back. "Right then east it is." she stated before taking off. The wind rushing through her hair and sending it straight into Noel's face. Soara didnt' realize this though as she sped out of the city.

Kora cringed as Titus abruptly stopped. "No I didn't and even if I did it's noon now." she pointed out. When he dropped she let out a loud scream. "Don't do that!" she hissed rolling out of his arms and onto her feet. "You are a crazy man." she muttered.

"Hmm.." Noel blinked thinking her question over. He wasn't sure which was more embarrassing, being carried in her arms or riding piggyback. Sighing deeply he closed his eyes and moved behind her preferring the second option. "Your brother probably went south east. We'll had directly east for a while. I'll let you know when you change directions."

Titus was in the process of jumping from the branches of the very highest trees. The land was becoming more mountainous and he didn't want to waste time moving uphill. "You're what?" Titus blinked and came to a very sudden stop. His claws dug into the bark of a tree so that they didn't go flying off. "Didn't you eat before we left? Oh..wait..you didn't get the chance huh?" Titus frowned as he carried her with one hand now. "Hm..well I didn't bring any food so I guess I'll have to catch you something. Alright hold on tight." Titus smirked and suddenly stepped off the edge of the branch. They fell a good 30ft before his feet softly touched the ground.

As Noel took a knee in front of her she stared at him. "Yes it was hard." she muttered. The feel of his hand on her ear made her cringe. Standing she stared at him. "You would." she growled. "Would you prefer I carry you again or get on my back?" she asked. They needed to travel fast and he wasn't as fast as her.

Kora nodded as he continued to yell over the wind. "Okay will do." she yelled back rolling her eyes slightly. He made things so awkward soemtimes she just didn't know what to say. An hour later she tugged on his shirt. "I'm hungry..."

A wicked smile formed on his lips. He watched as she got on her knees, her tail now up in the air. "Yeah I'm a sick bastard alright..and I'm ok with that." Noel grinned. After her begging was done Noel took a knee in front of her. "There was that so hard?" he smiled and leaned forward running his hands behind her ears giving her a good petting. "All the kitty needed was a little picture painted for her huh?" Noel and ran his hand through her hair a bit. "Well...I guess I'd be a monster if I made you suffer anymore wouldn't I? Alright, lets catch up with your brother. From what I saw at the track the other night speed shouldn't be an issue for you."

Titus had managed to cover allot of ground. An hour passed, but he still running, still moving dodging trees, bushes, and rocks. "I wont be stopping anytime soon." he called to her, his voice booming over the wind that shot past them. "So let me know if you have to...ya know...um...go. Although you should have went before we left.."

Soara could tell that she wasn't getting anywhere. With a reluctant sigh she slowly knelt in front of him. "You are a sick bastard you know that?" she asked. "Please....please...will you help me?" she pleaded. She felt sick to her stomach for what she was doing. Her bowing to a human? But for her father's sake she had to.

Kora let out a small yelp when he lifted ehr into his arms. Wrapping her own arms around his neck as he sped off. She was afraid that she would fall. "Okay!" she yelled over the sound of the wind. Afte a couple minutes she instructed him to head a little more east.

"Tsk tsk.." Noel smiled as he waved his index finger back and forth in front of her. "Sorry princess but thats not how this little game works. Shall we compare whats at stake? Your father could very well die while we're having this conversation. Or...your brother could possibly get the gems on his own and return a hero. Would you enjoy that? Would you enjoy being thrown into his shadow??" Noel asked. He had been watching Titus and Soara very closely. He had a good idea where Soara's nerves were. Her brother and her father were one. Her mysterious love that had died was another. "Sooo..if you want my help you'll need to beg properly."

"Are you sure?" Titus blinked, his head shifting in the direction she had pointed out. "Alright then." Titus stated and moved behind her. He lifted Kora easily into his arms carrying her bridal style. "We're gonna be moving quick so try not to bite your tongue. Also, try to keep up with where we're going. If I need to change directions just point." Titus instructed as he held her close to his chest. He crouched down a bit to get into his sprinting position. Within a matter of seconds his body pushed off from the ground sending them forward. Titus shot right past the southern gate and quickly sped towards the direction Kora had pointed to.

Soara narrowed her eyes at him. He was so infuirating she just wanted to scream at him. "And you call us monsters?" she asked. "I would never do soemtihng like that to another person just to get you to help me." she retorrted. "I will ask you one more time to please help me!" she begged.

Kora sighed as Titus wasn't going to tell her anymore about his sister. "Fine then." she replied giving up ont he subject entirely. "Right well southeast would be the best way to head first." she stated guiding the way. This whole trip seemed like a dangerous idea to her."

"Did I say that? I cant remember..honestly my head is a little foggy from being smashed so much the other day." Noel stated and pulled away from her. He stroked his chin as she spoke to him. It was clear that he hadn't any intention on helping her from the very beginning. Plus, he had his weapons back so he was under no obligation to help her. She had been fool to trust his word so easily. "Tell you what. If you..hmm...ah I know! If you get on your knees, placed her head at my feet, and beg me I'll take you half way AND I'll even include a more detailed version of the map. Sound good? I mean originally I had planed on giving you some crappy version that would probably...well...most likely get you killed. IF you beg though, you'll get the real thing. So how about it princess?"

"Forget it." Titus sighed, not wanting to talk about it any further. "All you need to know is that you cant trust anything she says. I mean look at the stunt she pulled back there. She made me out to be some sort of rapist or something.." Titus growled and looked off to the side. "No..we dont have time for this. Just tell me what direction we need to head in already."

Soara stopped as Noel spoke and looked at him. “You said you would take me half way there.” she stated. She raised an eyebrow at him. “So are you taking that back or what?” she asked clearly not happy about it. She needed him to go with her and lead the way.

Kora wasn’t sure what had happened exactly but she wasn’t sure if Titus was telling the truth or not. “How is she a traitor?” she asked curiously. She followed him through the streets holding his hand. Afraid that something would happen. She could feel peoples eyes on her.

"Eh??? I remember promising to draw you a map...but thats about it..." Noel sighed softly as he was literally dragged right out of the kitchen. He didn't even get a chance to finish his banana. "You know.." he stated, allowing her to drag him along rather then fighting her. "If you just waited a bit and tailed your brother sooner or later he'd hit those traps. Why not let him suffer a little hmm? Who knows, maybe one of them will kill him for you." Noel stated with a small smirk. He knew already that Soara didn't wish for Titus' death, but he couldn't resist poking her a little.

"Its not your fault..." Titus muttered as they made their way through crowds of demons. To make sure that no one picked Kora off, he grabbed her by the hand and led her down the streets. "You dont know her. She's the type who will stab you in the back when you least expect it. She just pretends to be nice and sweet. Its HER fault that our father is in the condition he's in right now. Has she accepted any responsibility though? No. Its HER fault that our mother was tortured, raped, and had to suffer 17 years of watching her mate die a little more each day." Titus spat, his hand gripping hers a little more firmly. "Look...lets just get out of this damn city." he mumbled, then suddenly stopped and turned to face Kora. "By the way...which direction is your village in anyway?? Should head south, west, east, or north??"

Soara glared at Noel. "I don't really care what you want at this point." she growled. She grabbed his arm tightly and dragged him out fo the room and towards the city. "I need your help and you promised it and now I expect yout o follow through with it."

Kora followed Titus not sure what to say tat this point in time. "I...I'm sorry..." she muttered. "I still don't understand why you hate her so much? She seems decent enough though that was uncalled for." she stated. To her Titus should love his ssiter she had lost her brother long ago and wished they had gotten along better still.

"I dont wanna." Noel stated, still leaning against the doorway. "You two seem to be under the impression that humans are pets or something. No..I think I'll just lean here and enjoy this banana." Noel smiled. Ama pressed her hand against her face. She would have never told Soara about what she had seen if she knew that Soara was going to blurt it out for everyone to hear. "Ama." Nagi whispered leaning in towards her daughter. "Nii-sama wants you to go after Soara. Keep an eye on her, but dont allow her to know that you're tailing her.."

Meanwhile, Titus was storming down the halls. He kicked the front door that led into the courtyard wide open. "That no good, stupid, big mouth bitch..." Titus grumbled along with a few other not so friendly words. He looked back at Kora completely steamed. "Where the hell does she get off? She's the fucking traitor, not me!!" he yelled and turned around ordering a few guards to open the final gate that would allow them to enter the city.

"Oh you heard me. Ama told me all about what she saw." Soara retorted. She stood as her brother approached her. However she didn't like him grabbing her shirt and squeezed his wrist until he let go. Kora was completely embarrassed and it showed as her face turned dark red. Technically Titus had touched her but she wasn't going to say anything. "And same to you!" Soara yelled after him. Grabbing some food she started out of the kitchen. "Let's go Noel."

the entire table suddenly went dead silent. Titus' mouth dropped wide open, his face turning a little pale. "What the hell did you just say to me?" Titus hissed and started walking around the table towards Soara. "Shit.." Ama muttered to herself. Kira looked up at Nagi with large confused eyes. "Whats mating mommy?" she asked. Nagi was in enough shock as it was. She couldn't even answer the girl's question. When Titus reached Soara he literally grabbed her by her shirt and jerked her right out of her chair. "FYI, I've haven't touched her. You've got some fucking nerve making accusations you little waste of space." Titus snarled. "You two stop it!" Nagi snapped and placed Kira in Ama's lap. "At least have the common sense not to start in front your little cousin! She looks up to both of you!" Nagi yelled. Titus glared down at Soara before pushing her roughly back into her seat. "Fuck you and your human." He spat bitterly, but made sure that he spoke low enough so Kira couldn't hear him. "Kora get up. We're leaving now!" Titus ordered. Meanwhile, Noel was leaning against the doorway to the kitchen watching the entire show. "Wow..now that was interesting.."

Soara glared at Titus. "Stop caling me that!" She yelled. "You cant control yours either. I'm not matin with mine." She hissed. Noel asnt making things better eiter. "We have to get along for Dad's sake." Shestaed. Starting to eat. "Noel is annoying yes but we need him unfortunetly."

Noel let out a hard laugh. He looked down at Soara shaking his head. "Sorry but I have no intention of eating with monsters." he smirked. Titus let out a long sigh. "Nice going Soara. Its bad enough that you're nothing more then garbage. You just had to bring in a human who matched your personality didn't you?" Titus frowned, his right eye twitching. "Tell you what. Since you cant control your human how about I just cut his tongue out and be done with it hm?" Titus stated and rose to his feet. Noel, who had a banana in his hands, raised his brow. "You're not ready. I've killed demons 20 times your size." he stated with a cocky smile. Titus' eyes lit up. His claws were already digging down into the wood of the table.

Soara smiled at Kira as she sat down at the table. When Noel was rude to Nagi she shok her head. "God you are so rude! You now you've killed our men too. So top playingthe victm for god sake." She snapped. She had it with Noel. His ignoring Kira made her stand. "Excuse me? Sit down and be nice! Ses little." She nodded at Titus in acknowledgement.

"hope you dont regret that." Noel smirked as he took his blades. The two fit together perfectly just like a puzzle. When they arrived inside the dining room, they were just in time to hear Nagi pleading with Kora. Noel clapped his hands. "Well isn't that a nice way to ask. I didn't know monsters were capable of asking for something in such a polite way." Noel smiled as he moved towards the table. Nagi's head shot up. Her golden hues turned into slits as she let out a very dark hiss. "You're the human that tried to kill Nii-sama." she growled. Kira stared up at Noel. She didn't understand why her mom seemed to be so upset. As Noel came to the table she leaned forward offering him an apple slice. Nagi's body froze. If Noel made even the slightest aggressive move, she'd probably kill him. Noel stared down at Kira. She looked so innocent. Noel however knew what she'd become one day. He moved past her, ignoring her offering. "D-Did I do something bad?" she asked Soara as tears began to run down from her baby eyes. "No Kira. He's just a dick." Titus replied softly. "Language." Nagi snapped before taking her seat next to Kira. "Sorry.." Titus whispered softly. He reached forward grabbing a few pancakes. "Kora we'll be leaving as soon as breakfast is over. There's not a moment to lose so we'll be traveling light and quick."

Soara glared at Noel trying ot decide if she should trust him. He hadn't really given her a reason to. "Fine." she growled. then opened the gate tossing him the swords. "Better be a damn good map." she muttered. "Lets go eat." she stated before heading to the kitchen.

Kora wasn't sure what to say to Nagi. "Um..I will do my best." she promised her. This family had already lost so much she didn't want them to lose more.

Noel could tell that Soara was at least considering his deal. He smiled at her leaning closer still against the bars of the gate. "Thats a good question." He stated as a sly grin formed on his lips. "I guess you dont know..do you? Honestly, I dont care if you trust me or not. You already know how I feel about you. The real question is, how much time are you willing to waste? Isn't your dear old dad dying? Do you really have the time to question my motives...or...could it be that you dont care whether or your father dies?" Noel asked and took a few steps back, his grin fading. "Well if thats case I'm fine with it. Please. Keep my weapons."

Nagi walked into the dining room with a large plate of bacon. She placed it in the center of the table where everyone get easily reach. "Oh.." she blinked seeing that Titus had brought his human to the table. She herself really didn't have a problem with humans. She was however concerned for Kira's safety. Sighing, she moved over towards her daughters giving them both a kiss on the forehead. "Haha you got a kiss from mommy!" Kira giggled. Ama nodding giving her sister a gentle smile. "Well I am her daughter too." she laughed. "Titus" Nagi called as began to place a few more items onto the table. "You should leave as soon as possible. I went to visit nii-sama this morning and..." she paused, her ears folding flat against her head. "Its bad. His condition got worse over night..much worse. You no longer have a week. Nii-sama..he had three days..maybe four at the max.." Nagi stated as she placed a large jug of water on the table. She then turned to Kora and slightly bowed her head. "Please..I know I have no right to ask this of you..but I'm begging you..please take Titus to get whatever he needs as quickly as possible. My brother...he wont last long without those gems.."
