You Can't Save Me ((Yugo,Mature))

Kathrine looked over her shoulder, hearing the squeal of a car's tires and its engine. She blinked seeing Shen standing there half naked staring at her. She looked down. "I dont..." she sighed. "I wont be responsible for another persons life... someone is already in prison because of me... I dont... I dont want to get hurt as bad as that time... I dont want everything to be my fault again!" She cried and buried her face into her knees

It was around 6am when Shen woke up. He needed a little extra time to prepare for work. He also wanted to apologize to Kate for being so bold the other night. However, when he found that she wasn't in her room, he rushed out of his apartment! Shen jumped into his car. He drove all over searching for her. Why had she left? Had she been taken? Shen was driving like a wild man! he came speeding through the park and just managed to avoid running down a few stop signs. "T-There!" he yelled and slammed on the breaks. He pulled up right onto the grass and came out running. He wasn't even fully dressed! Sure..he had on pants, but in his haste he had left the house without a shirt. "You...why...?" he asked as he bent over. Small beads of sweat were running down his cheeks and between his abs.

Kathrine's hues narrowed into slits. She was getting pissed but she took a slow deep breath to keep from snapping at the one who had just fed her and let her use his shower and wash her clothes. She turned without another word and limped to the room and shut the door and slid under the blankets. She closed her eyes and quickly found sleep. Around 4am Kathrine woke up. She moved quietly out of the room an got her clean clothes, changing into them and made the bed and folded the two shirts she had been wearing and left them on the bed. She grabbed her bag and lightly limped to the door, carefully opening it and locked the handle lock and shut the door behind her

She knew what would happen if she cried out for help...it happened before... She ended up in a hospital...three broken ribs, broken arm, fractures leg, a concussion... strangled until she passed out... She wasnt going to be beaten within an inch of her life again... not again... She made it to the park and sat on a bench, the morning birds were beginning to chirp...

"I think you underestimate me. I think you're so focused on drowning that you refuse to see the life guard who's got his arms around you. Tell me, whats the worse that could happen? How will giving me a shot make your life even worse?" Shen asked and walked up to her. He pointed to her covered eye. "This will happen again. The bruises...they will never fade unless you take some steps. I'm asking you to work with me. I may be a foreigner..but I'm determined to get you away from your uncle and whoever else is messing with your life." Shen stated before taking a step back and releasing a soft sigh. The atmosphere was nice and tense now. "Anyway...why dont you sleep on it? If you need anything I'll be in my room. I have lessons to prepare for. Feel free to use the kitchen if you get hungry again."

Kathrine's hues narrowed but she kept silent. She had been somewhat right... If she resembled his late fiance... that meant there was something he couldnt, or didnt do to save her. So now He wanted to save her, a girl, a stranger who looked like his late lover. "And what is you think you can do... A stranger, a foreigner... even if your family did has power and wealth, you can't just snap your fingers and expect to get me out of my situation. What do you think would happen. I tell you everything, we go to the police? A court date is set and i get freedom away from that bastard? Wrong... just stop, I dont even want false hope" She growled and stood up. He didnt know... his uncle was friends with everyone... the teachers at school. the cops... everyone.... They were letting him cope the way he knew how with the loss of his brother and sister in law... by beating his niece... the child that caused their death as much as he wanted

"You say that only because you've lost hope. Before, you told me that you plan to run away after you turn 18. Do you really think you'll get away? Do you really think you'll be able to escape? That man...he didn't even question why I was ontop of you. He didn't care." Shen frowned and began to tap his finger on the table. It was a habit of his from when he was a child. When KAte brought up his true reason for helping, his eyes narrowed sharply. He looked down now. It was only recently that had he figured out why he wanted to help her. The reason...well...it was hard to explain. "You...in allot of ways...resemble my late fiance..both physically and personality wise. She was strong, stubborn...but also had her gentle side. Thats why I'm helping you. Thats why I want to try." Shen stated before rising to his feet. He took their plates and placed them in the sink. He hadn't told her the whole truth..but he figured that maybe if he leveled with her she'd come around. "I'll say this. No matter how far you run..that man will always be there. His grasp will never loosen. I think inside you know that. IF so...allow me to help. Trust me Ms Burrows..and I think you'll be surprised..."

As Shen returned to the topic of her speaking with him she put the fork down. "I told you.... you cant help me" She said and looked straight at him now. Her voice was calm for now and her hues soft. "Even if I told you...even if I asked...theres nothing anyone can do" She said and closed her eyes while leaning her chin a top her hand again. "And your lying....People dont help others, 'just because they want to' or just 'because its their job'...something happened that made you feel guilty... so now...you see me... a broken girl who needs mending... and you want to be the one to mend me" She said and looked at him. "I wont ask the details... but please... stop trying to help me... it'll only get worse for me in the end" She said

"Well...I suppose I wouldn't get mad..." Shen blinked and moved back to his seat. "I just think its best if we keep things the way they are, thats all." he stated and reached to grab his glass of water. Indeed, Shen had noticed her cute mannerisms. They were much more welcomed over her hostile side. However, the more Shen stared at her the sadder his expression became. "I see...so thats it..." he thought to himself and shifted his gaze towards the window again. "Ms. Burrows...at some point you're going to have to talk to me. I want to help you..honestly I do. And no, its not out of pity. I honestly want to help. Its my job as your teacher." Shen stated with a small smile. He wasn't wearing his glasses now so he actually looked a little younger then what he was. "I need you to talk to me. Help me help yourself."

"Hm...so you'd get mad at me if I started calling you Shen?" She asked as she tilted her head. Her childlike mannerisms were rather cute, but she had other mannerisms that made her look more mature then she was. The way she propped her chin on the top of her hand rather then cupping her cheek. The way both her legs were places off to the side while sitting rather then crossed. When he reveiled the surprise her eyes widened and she smiled. "Gladly" She said happily and took her fork and took a bite of it. "Hmm....its so good" She whimpered happily

"Um...no...I'm afraid I cant. Call me a traditionalist, but I feel its best that refer to each other by our titles." Shen stated and rose to his feet. He saw the wariness in her eyes and slowly moved behind her and into the kitchen. He wanted to drag it out a bit, make her wonder what he had planned. After opening the freezer, Shen took something out and placed it behind his back. He walked back up to Kate and suddenly placed a large slice of ice cream cake right in front of her! "I got the whole cake as a gift from the manager of this building. Unfortunately I haven't been able to eat it all. Maybe you can help me with that."

"You can call me Kate outside of school" She said. "All the teachers do" She said and took another forkfull into her mouth. Despite him telling her to take her time, her plate was cleared after a few moments. She slid her finger through the gravy on the plate and sucked it off her middle finger while looking around before looking to him when he mentioned a surprise. "What do you mean surprise?" She asked, a little wary now

"My god...does your uncle feed you?" Shen thought to herself as he watched her eat. He wondered if he should give her his plate as well. "Take your time Ms Burrows. I would hate for you to choke." Shen laughed softly and began to eat himself. "Well I'm glad you like it. Someone...Some very important taught me how to cook. Its a great way to get to know someone." Shen stated though his smile vanished. His eyes shifted towards the window. A very long pause from him followed after that. "Anyway, after you're done I have a surprise for you."

Kathrine looked up seeing the under shirt he had for her and stood up. "No, I'll change first, it'll make eating less awkward" She said and limped around the table. "Thanks" she said and went to put on the shirt. Then buttoned the other shirt over that. She looked down and nodded before limping back out an sitting again She started to cut the stake, taking a bite of it before he cheeks turned red again and she started to cut another piece after eating some of the mashed potatos. "MY god this is good" She said after swallowing and took another bite. She was defiantly hungry

When Shen came back, he had an undershirt for Kate. He looked at her, seeing the towel she had wrapped around her body and let out a soft chuckle. "Um..maybe this will be better. You can finish eating first though." he smiled and moved to sit across from her. "So what do you think? The carrots were boiled in brown sugar and a few other things. Have you tried the steak yet?"

Kathrines blinked at his reaction and covered herself with a blush. When he went upstairs she went back into the room and wrapped the towel she had used around herself and then buttoned the shirt up over that. That would work for now...right? She sat down, her hues widened when she saw all the food. She looked around before picking up a carrot with her fingers and popped it in her mouth. A blush crossed her cheeks. It was amazing!

"Oh I see. Well then perhaps I could find-" Shen stated though when he turned around his eyes nearly came out of their sockets! "W-What are you doing?!!" he asked, his face blood red as blood oozed out of his nose. He could clearly see her nipples through the shirt...her pink perky nipples.. Quickly, he spun around and took in a deep breath. He had to remind himself that he was a doctor and that he was 25. He was an adult...he needed to act like one. "Ok...this is fine..." he whispered and took the shorts. "Um...dinner is ready...so sit down...eat...and I'll be back..." he whispered, though still had his back turned to her. After taking the shorts he made a quick trip up stairs to see if he could find something for Kate to wear under his shirt...

Kathrine limped over to the door hiding behind it as he slid the clothes in. She waited until he pulled his hand back to close the door and bent down picking the clothes up. She dried her hair a little with the towel and put on the large shirt, it went to her lower thighs!...well...he was really tall... If her legs were so brused of she would have just worn that. She tried putting on the pants but, they wouldnt stay up, they kept sliding down her legs. Her figure was too slender to keep them up. She folded them and blushed. She couldnt just walk around in a shirt... she wasnt waring a bra or panties!... no he was a doctor so, maybe he wouldnt bother looking. She walked out and handed the pants back. "They...were to big" She said looking off to the side. She had put the eye patch back on. She had to keep fixing the shirt as it kept sliding down her shoulder. "S-sorry..." She said

"Oh yes, I'll get them right away." shen stated, though when he turned around he did catch a glimpse of how bruised up she was. He wasn't surprised though. He had already seen plenty while he had been treating her back. He didn't know that her bruises extended down to her legs. Shen had to take a moment to calm himself. There was no way Kate had received all of her bruises from simple fighting. After a few minutes he knocked on her door and opened it just enough to slide some clothes in. "Sorry but...this was all I could find." he whispered before closing the door. He had given her one of his button up shirts. The shirt alone would come down to her mid thighs. Shen had also given her some shorts. Those however were..well..pretty big and would reach down to her ankles.

Kate washed herself and looked around for a towel, grabbing one and wrapped it around herself. She peeked her head out the bedroom door smelling the amazing aroma. "S-Sensei?" She called. "Um....d-do you....have a shirt and sweats I could borrow until I clean my clothes?" She called. From what little the towel covered, Shen would now be able to see just how many bruises her body carried. She limped over to her bag and opened it as she waited for Shen's response about the clothing

Shen was cooking up a storm! He had pan fried the stakes and added the onions for flavor. He had also made his own gravy. For sides Shen had made some creamy mash potatoes, sweet carrots, and for desert he had a special surprise for Kate. The scent of the dinner was flowing throughout the entire apartment! Shen placed Kate's plate on the table. He looked over his shoulder wondering if Kate had drowned.

"If you tried it you'd understand" She muttered. She walked into the room and peeked into the bathroom. She threw her bag on the bed and walked in. Oh how she'd love to use the water jets but with her body so sore, a normal bath would do. She undressed, her hues looking into the giant mirror that displayed her body. Her ankle was swollen black and blue, the reason she had been limping. She had bruises going all up her legs when she removed her stockings. Her arms were covererd too, she unwrapped the bandages around her arms, wincing as she peeled dried blood from the wounds. She started the water and put her dirty clothes into the hamper as she was told. She'd request to do her own laundry though. She winced as she stepped into the water and eased herself in, letting out a sigh. She hadnt removed her eyepatch yet, she just wanted to sit there and soak in the hot water

"Again...why do you kids need drugs? Have you no idea what true pleasure is?" Shen asked, though more to himself though. He looked over his shoulder nodding to Kate as he chopped up the carrots. "Oh yes. Um...I dont have any clothes a girl could wear...but I'll find something for you. Place the clothes you have on in the basket inside the bathroom and I'll wash it for you. There's a bathroom in your room actually to the right of the bed." he stated. Inside Kate would find a bathroom that he been designed for a prince! There was even a hot tube with several jets just waiting to be used.

She was shocked he didnt press her on more details about it... she liked it. "It's....my thanks to you...for helping me alright...y-you asked....why kids take this...it....it enhances the pleasure...the stronger the dose the more sensative your body becomes to touch. No ones ever had side effects... I..." She stopped and looekd away... that was enough for now. "Um...could I....possible use your shower. She didnt look it but she hadnt showered in two days and she felt totally grimy...

Shen's smile vanished. Was that the drug? Shen took the vile and held it up close. "Ms Burrows..." he started, but then paused and shook his head. Rather then start a debate he tucked the vile into his pocket and turned to throw on an apron. After inspecting what in the fridge...his freakishly large fridge...Shen pulled out some carrots, two steaks, onions, and some other items he was going to use. "Dinner will take a few hours. Feel free to look around or sleep until it's ready. " he replied softly. His mind though was on the drugs she had been taking. He needed to study it as soon as possible.

Kathrine walked through the door and her violet hues widened. This place was huge! it looked like it was two times bigger then her house. When he mentioned food her stomach quickly growled and she blushed and looked down. "Look....um..." She looked off to the side as she dug her hand in her pocket and pulled something out. "You...wanted to know about LIB right?" She said and opened her hand holding a clear liquid capsule. "I still had one left from when I was with my ex...you can...have it" She said. "You know, to study it or whatever"
