Darkness was rising and King Mickey could feel it close; the sense was nearly familiar, as if he should know of it, though he never felt such anger, such darkness in all his time before. It frightened him, fearing that it would soon attack his precious and vast kingdom. Feeling rather hopeless, the King decided to pay a visit to his Master; if anyone would know of the danger that was on the edge, he would. He came to him only to receive and frown from his talented Sorcerer master; Mickey pleaded for the information that his master knew, but the master only spoke in riddles.

"The Darkness is a part of you, Mickey. Something you had stirred; something that could not have been prevented. A kin has come for your rite."

Mickey had no other kin aside from his wife, Minnie; no other brother, no other sister, no other. It baffled the king to no end; he had no choice but to return back to his kingdom and prepare for the oncoming attack. He informed his trusty advisories, Goofy and Donald, of the terror and they quickly went to prepare. Mickey confronted his lovely queen and warned her and her handmaiden, Daisy, of the dangers. Mickey wanted to keep his love safe from harm, on whatever would be attacking; all he could do would move her to a safe place. The only place he knew of was his master's castle.

That evening he, Donald, and Goofy escorted Queen Minnie and handmaiden Daisy to the master's castle. Quickly Mickey ushered Minnie and Daisy in, and just in time; a loud crack sounded from behind them and Mickey could feel his castle being bombarded. He tensed up at the darkness that loomed right over their heads; he ordered Goofy and Donald to hurriedly escort him back to the castle to fend off the danger that was attacking his castle.

Arriving closer to the castle, he could see from afar the Evil Queen, Maleficent, Ursula and worse of them all...Chernabog. Mickey's stomach tightened from the vile sight of the evil tainting his castle. Goofy and Donald pleaded to turn back and seek aid from the Sorcerer, but as he had told Mickey, the king could only fend off these vile attacks. Even from a great distance as Mickey was from his castle, he could see that these villains were being led by someone more powerful than them combined.

Mickey ordered his men to charge forward to find the leader of this raid. They broke through the castle gates and with Mickey's magic he fended off as much as he could until they could reach their leader. Donald and Goofy defended their king with their life as the three of them raced to the throne room; Mickey kicked open the door to find someone with similarities of himself...but a rabbit.

The rabbit sat on the throne that belonged to Mickey, fiddling with the crown; Donald yelled and squawked at the rabbit, ordering him to get off of his king's throne. Without a word, Oswald lashed the crown in hand at Donald; it hit and ricocheted off of Donald's stomach and smacked into the back of Goofy's head, bouncing off to hit Mickey.

The king flipped back just in time to dodge the crown, though he frowned at the attacker. "You are my kin?" Mickey questioned.

"I am your older half-brother. Oswald...the lucky rabbit."

The throne doors closed and Mickey was left alone to fight his kin.

It wasn't long until King Mickey's kingdom began to fall. Queen Minnie could see the demise of her husband's kingdom from her sanctuary; her heart broke as sad tears fell from her beautiful eyes. She could no longer feel the presence of her lover, the man who always looked out for her and put everyone else before himself. She clutched tightly on to her handkerchief and began to bawl softly into it; her handmaiden also was saddened by the loss of her lover and she too gently wept, though she controlled herself to be strong for her queen.

Another crack of thunder sounded, frightening the two girls to look up and out their window. They saw the worlds surrounding the kingdom slowly fall; she knew if the king and his royal knights could not handle any danger the princes of the worlds would come to stand and fight. She could only hope they could turn the tables...though with the magic of Mickey no longer supplying the worlds, Minnie feared for the worst.

Ariel leaned against the railing of the bedroom balcony, overlooking the beautiful ocean. She missed the sea, living under the water and swimming freely; however, there was no other place she rather be than with Eric on land. She smiled faintly, leaning further against the balcony side with a faint smile; she stretched her arms forward towards the ocean, feeling the wind blow her ruby red hair back.

"You're not going to dive on me, are you?"

Ariel blushed and pulled her arms back to look over her shoulder at Eric, who leaned against the doorway of their balcony bedroom, smiling sweetly at her. Ariel smiled and shook her head in an innocent manner, teasing him as if he had nearly caught her red-handed. She turned and leaned against the balcony, her smile growing brighter. "I was just telling myself, I missed the ocean and all its beauty...the water and the animals underneath the surface..." she looked out to the waters in a longing manner.

Eric frowned and pushed himself up, moving over to his wife to take her in his arms to comfort her. He kissed her forehead softly, glancing out to the ocean; he knew she gave up a lot to live with him, though he never knew it pained her to be away from the ocean.

"But…" Eric looked down to Ariel as she continued, very hopeful on the words she was going to say. "There is nowhere else I rather be, then here with you Eric." Ariel smiled and smoothed her hands up his chest to wrap her delicate arms around his neck.

Eric's strong arms wrapped around her waist and held her close to his chest in a protective manner. "Good," he replied, smiling sweetly at his lovely wife. "I don't want to be anywhere else but with you."

Ariel's smile grew and she leaned up to give Eric a loving kiss, allowing it to linger for a moment before pulling away slowly. She kept close to her husband, looking deeply into his eyes; for a moment she was lost within his beautiful hues, though when he spoke again she was brought back to reality.

"Ariel...what's the matter, you're shivering..." Eric frowned slightly, pulling her closer to warm her. "Shall we return inside to get warm?"

Ariel smiled softly, her cheeks turning pink, nearly red as her hair. "No, Eric, I'm not cold." She allowed her arms to slip from his neck, resting his hands upon his chest softly. "Eric, darling...I have something I need to tell you." Her shy eyes glanced down at his chest, trying to muster the words that were slowly building up inside.

"Yes? What is it Ariel? Whatever it is, I promise I won't get mad," Eric teased.

Ariel pouted softly, looking up to Eric, "I hope you won't get mad," she teased back. "Eric...something wonderful has happened~ I'm...pre--"

A loud crash sounded from a far, catching both Eric and Ariel's attention; looking out to the ocean they saw a large, black figure arising from the depths of the ocean. Their blood went cold upon the sight of the evil witch, Ursula slowly rising from the surface of the water. Eric quickly took a defensive stance before Ariel, his hand reaching back to her hip, assuring her everything will be okay. The young woman's hands moved in opposite directions; one rested on Eric's back while the other quickly went to her stomach to smooth over the fabric to protect the growing child.

The evil witch laughed as the skies above grew dark with storm clouds; lightening bolted and thunder cracked overhead, syncing with Ursula's vile laugh. Eric turned his head over his shoulder, shouting for the guards at duty to begin their defense against the surprise attack.

"Eric! Look out!!" Ariel pushed her beloved out of the way as a black tentacle wrapped itself around Ariel, squeezing tightly. Ariel screamed in pain, her arms wiggling underneath the constriction, trying to keep it from harming her stomach.

"ARIEL!!!" Eric turned into their bedroom, hurrying to his gun case and opened it. He removed a rifle from the shelf within the case and hurried back out to the balcony. He lifted up the weapon and aimed at Ursula’s head; he began to fire rapidly, though little to no harm was inflicted upon the evil sea witch. "Ariel, I'm coming for you!" He shouted to assure his wife before leaping from the balcony to Ariel and the tentacle.

"Eric, no! You must get out of here! Please, don't waste your life on me!" Ariel cried out, tears stinging her eyes.

Eric ignored her words, not allowing his beloved to go down in such a way. He turned the rifle and pointed it at the tentacle, the muzzle against the scaly flesh; he fired twice though the wrap only tightened on Ariel, forcing her to let out a painful cry. Eric glanced to Ariel, though his peripheral vision caught sight to a darker form; quickly, he looked over to his right to see another tentacle wrapping around his form and removing him from Ariel. He screamed to the constriction, struggling to break free from her grasp.

As the naval ships began to set sea to fight against the monster, the evil witch began to sink back into the ocean, her dark laughter riding on the wind as a permanent echo. Ariel cried for her father, hoping he could hear her somehow and give aid to her; however, the ocean waters started to turn dark...and that only meant, the fall of Atlantis had come. Her screams had slowly died down, realizing this was the end of her, Eric, and their unborn child.

"Whatever happens, Ariel! I will always love you!" Eric shouted, feeling the ice cold water bleed through his boots and his pants as he was lowered into the ocean.

Ariel looked over to Eric, trying her best to smile at him. "I know, Eric; I will always love you too." She shivered to the cold touch of the water, though she knew this was her original terrain...and something told her this really wasn't the end of things.

Every day seemed to be like a dream for Cinderella, living in this wonderful and beautiful castle with her beloved Prince William; her step-sisters and step-mother could no longer bother her with their laziness. She was free from their horrid orders and their ungrateful acts; however, that didn't stop the soon to be Princess from cleaning around the castle. She was usually found upon her knees in a corridor, scrubbing away at the floors with a sponge and a bucket of soapy water next to her; she sung and hummed to herself in a blissful manner as she worked gradually.

The maids and butlers insisted on Cinderella to stop at once, though the young maiden continued with her work, kindly denying their so-called suggestions. This was how she grew up, cleaning up after people, making sure the house would be spotless; it became a habit for her and soon a way to relax and clear her mind. Cinderella only despised cleaning when the people who she was cleaning for were ungrateful and rude enough not to help out, which were exactly what her step-sisters and step-mother were.

However, the young maids in the castle were more than grateful to her aid; they were gracious to Cinderella and they even helped her out during the times she was cleaning. Although, she was usually so busy learning how to be a princess, she had hardly any time for herself to clean; thus, when she did, she enjoyed it to the fullest.

Although, nothing in the castle ever lasted long for Cinderella.

"I told you time and time again, Prince William; Cinderella will never become your bride or a lovely princess if she keeps on cleaning!" the nagging old voice that belonged to Cinderella's teacher echoed down the hall. Quickly, the maids around Cinderella hurried to finish up and gather their things before rushing away to make space and way for the royal feet. Cinderella on the other hand, remained on her knees and continued what she was doing, not going to allow another person order her around anymore.

"I know, Mrs. Loghan, I know; let me speak with Cinderella, first." Cinderella's heart went at ease to hear her lovely man's voice, humming a bit more happily just to his tone. She waited patiently for him, knowing very well he would join her on his knees. A sound of the door closing and only one set of footsteps closing towards her eased her mind; soon, her prince came up to Cinderella's side. "I found you," he said softly with a faint smile.

Cinderella glanced up at him, returning the smile. "Yes you have, your highness."

"Oh please, stop with that, all ready," he teased and knelt down, frowning faintly as his knees touched the soapy and wet floor. "You do know, princesses don't clean floors, right?" he said, looking back up to catch her beautiful blue eyes.

"Of course I do, your highness, but I'm not a princess just yet, now am I?" She glanced to his knees, "Your highness, I do need to wash that spot."

The Prince frowned and scooted to the side, "Sorry about that," he said softly.

"Quite all right, your highness; anything else you need, your highness?~"

"Oh, come on now Cinderella. Mrs. Loghan won't qualify you as a princess if you keep washing the castle. You need to learn--"

"Need to learn what? How to be good to my people? I already know how to be kind--and I'm not just being stubborn, your highness, I--"

"Don't you want to become my princess, Cinderella?" the Prince interjected, moving his hands to take hers gently. "I want you to become my princess, so very much so."

Cinderella smiled faintly, her cheeks flushing over. "Yes, I do, William, more than anything else in the world. However, I love cleaning, William--"

"But I thought--"

"It keeps me calm, William; helps me relax, you must understand. Cannot there be one princess who can also clean, your highness?"

The Prince rolled his eyes with a warm smile, "You always must win, do you?"

"Mhm, as your princess, I must~" Cinderella leaned forward for a kiss.

The Prince smiled, loving every vigor moment with Cinderella; he leaned forward to accept and return the kiss, though suddenly the light that shined into the corridor went out. The Prince pulled back, looking out to the window to see the skies had turned from a baby blue to a dark shade of blue; he frowned, getting up to his feet quickly and rushing to the window to peer out. "What just happened?" he asked aloud, his eyes glancing every which way.

Cinderella frowned, putting the sponge back into the bucket and standing to her feet; she brushed off the suds before moving up next to the prince. "What is it, dear?"

All questions were soon answered when Chernabog rose in front of the window, tall and large; his hands glow a bright green color from the magic that stirred from his fingertips. "Oh dear!" Cinderella cried, grabbing William's arm. "Hurry, we must find a safe place!" she shouted, tugging her prince along.

The Prince turned, wrapping his arm around Cinderella's waist and darted for the doors, slipping every so often from the wet soapy floor. The two sprinted as fast as they could to the doors to make their escape, though all the windows suddenly shattered, freezing them where they stood. A big gust of wind blew against them roughly, pulling the Prince back and towards a window. "William!!" Cinderella cried, turning and grabbing on to his hand.

"Let go, Cinderella! I'll be fine!" he shouted.

"I am never letting you go!" she shouted in return, gripping on to his arm and hand with all her strength. The doors opened from behind and the king and the advisor quickly ran after them; they reached out to grab at Cinderella's foot though the advisor only managed to grab her heel, pulling it off from her foot. The two were sucked out of the window immediately, and when the king hurried to the window to view, only the large Chernabog stood in the distance, destroying the village and the noble's homes. Cinderella and Prince William were no where to be found.
