Skoll scratched his ear. "I highly doubt there's anything I can say to the boy....are you sure theres no one else you wish for me to try and save?Obviously I can not cure Candra....but Hati seems to have been reminding you not to let your mind wander... is there someone you worry for other then Candra?" He asked

Ryu closed his eyes for a moment. What could Skoll do? Right now, aside from Candra's condition, Ryukai was his biggest problem. Even when Candra had been healthy, the relationship that Ryu had with his son had never really improved. "Perhaps...at best you could talk to him. He has allot of issues...which...I'm ashamed to say I cant discuss with him. Perhaps if you were to try...you'd have more success then I would."

"Good" Skoll said, hiding his excitement in face and voice but his tail was wagging. "Now what is it you wish of me so I can complete the contract" He said. "If theres something I can do do help ease what ever is troubleing you, I'll do it" he said

"Thats it???" Ryu blinked. Somehow, he found it hard to believe that all SKoll wanted was to see the kids whenever he wanted. Ryu eyed the wolf, but the end, nodded in agreement. "I'm fine with that. They like you and Candra trusts you." he mumbled softly. Ryu didn't exactly see Skoll as a threat. Its just...well...it was strange to have a god who was so attached to his twins.

"Ah...well I lose my temper all the time, so Theres not much I can do to help him with his outbursts...but listen, I've come to like your family...your kids are amazing...so I'm willing to do something for you... like a pact, as my brother has with Candra... The thing I want on my end, is to be able to visit and play with the twins when ever I wish, that is my term" He said. It seemed as if the sun hearder was making sure he'd always be able to see the kids

"Nothing...in particular." Ryu mumbled. Was talking to Skoll even worth it? Ryu wasn't exactly in the mood to share everything he was thinking again. "If you want to be of use though, you could do something about my eldest son. He's been through allot...but I cant excuse him starting fights right in front of his mother. You'd think he'd be able to hold back at least a little." Ryu sighed deeply and shook his head. "I dont know what to do. Actually...I dont think there's anything I can do."

Skoll tilted his head. "Well what the hell are you always thinking about that you shouldnt be?" He asked. Ryu would have to excuse his harsh way of talking and getting to the point, it was just his character. He hadnt really bothered to listen in on all the facts that was going on with Ryu and his family or even why Candra had been as sick as she was, this was his first time taking an interst

"Thank you." Ryu replied softly. He shook his head though and slowly shifted his gaze over towards the god. "Its nothing. I dont expect you to control it. As long as it doesn't come out around the twins I really dont have anything to say." he replied softly before letting out a small sigh. "I dont know. I really want Candra to get better. I guess...I'm just not to use to having to safe guard my thoughts. Thats all." he stated and shifted his gaze over to the moving river.

After awhile the twins had passed out. Skoll yawned and and got up seeing Ryu up as well. The red and back wolf walked over. "Hey....you have some great kids...and....sorry for my short temper....its just....I....can't really control it well...." He said and looked at him. "Whats the matter with you?" He asked noticing Ryu's distressed look

"Any medicine that Candra could take would be great. If not...then no we dont need anything else. Skoll can play with the twins as long as he wants. It should keep them occupied." Ryu replied softly before shifting his gaze back over to Candra. He sighed softly and continued to massage her ears before standing up to stretch for a moment. Now that Candra was asleep, he didn't really have anyone to talk to. He didn't want to wake her either. She needed the rest.

Ryukai snarled before walking away, vanishing into the dark mist. "Don't blame him..." Candra yawned softly, as if she was talking in her sleep. Hati looked at her and then Ryu. "Did you need anything before I take my leave? Skoll had planned on staying and playing longer but I can have him leave as well if you wish" Hati said

"Thats enough!" Ryu hissed and shot his head back towards his son, his good eye pulsing red. "You can hate me as much as you want. However, now is not the time. Your mother is resting. Dont argue in front of her." he hissed before turning back to Candra and ran his fingers behind her ears. All Ryu could do was accept that fact that until she got better, he'd have to resist all thoughts of his home or of Sasha. Somehow, Candra was able to sense his thoughts which seemed to effect her condition.

"I'm alright....I must have eaten too much..." She said and slowly walked back to her spot by the small river. She lapped up some water before laying down. She laid her head on Ryu's lap and quickly fell asleep. Hati walked over, "I wish there was an easier way...instead of having to ask so much of you...." Hati said. "Why be sorry for him! He's never had to give up nearly as much as she has, she's given up her entire life" Ryu snarled. "You have to stop channeling all this anger at him Ryu" Hati said. "Dont tell me what to do!" ryukai snarled

Ryu turned around. "Fuck." he cursed mentally. How Candra could pick up on his thoughts he wasn't sure. The dragon quickly moved over to her side. "Come on Candra. You should rest by the river." Ryu whispered softly and guided her back towards the river so she could drink. He felt so...trapped. Not even his thoughts were safe. Sighing softly, he ran his hand through Candra's fur and over the side of her belly. He wanted to calm her, to have her relax as much as she could.

"I'm not really sure, but focusing on such things can be dangerous Ryuten, she may be healing, but it can always make a turn for the worst again." Hati warned, and just as Hati warned him, and Ryu drifted into thought Candra's hackled rose as she bagan to cough, her coughing turning into hacking, and blood began to spill from her jaws. She stumbed over by the woods as everything she ate was forced out her throat. Ryukai ran over to her. "Mom?" He questioned and rubbed her back. "I'm fine..." She panted

"Hard to believe that someone like him would be a softy for kids." Ryu blinked. He still couldn't believe it. Sighing softly, he turned his head back towards the sky. "So...by any chance to do know whats going on down there? Could you tell me at least if Deathwing has died or not?" Ryu asked softly. If Deathwing was alive, chances were that Jabberwock had yet to put his plans into motion. Even with a sick father, as long as he was alive, the younger dragon would have to wait. Ryu frowned. His thoughts shifted to Sasha. He wondered if she was alive or not. If she died, the dragons would have more to worry about then just Deathwing. A war with the tigers would mean going to war against the ENTIRE neko race. Ryu knew that if something like that happened, their kind would be wiped out. Fighting against various species of neko's wasn't the same as fighting a couple thousand of mangy dogs.

Hati scratched his ear as Ryu asked his question. "It's because of her heart....she's noble and strong...determined and loyal, she wanted nothing for herself but for her family...Father is glad to see such traits in his kind" Hati said. "So no, it doesnt really ave anything to do with her blood or out contract" He said as he shook out his fur. "Don't worry of the little ones, now that Skoll and I have met them...and your family...we will be making visits now and then to see how things are going....that and Skoll is a sucker for pups..." Hati chuckled while watching his brother roll around on the grass as Kasumi and Kei attemped to pin the god

Ryu's good eye shifted over towards the god, but only slightly. "I'm just fine. Candra is healing, the twins are happy, and Ryukai...well...is Ryukai. Things are good I suppose." Ryu replied softly before letting out a small sigh. "I take it your father is fine with us being here since we've yet to be kicked out. Is it because of Candra's blood or your contract with her? I cant help but wonder what would have happened if Candra had been just a regular wolf." he replied softly and looked back towards the twins. They both really did love Skoll. It would be hard tearing them apart from the god.

After the kids were finished eating Hati and Skoll appearing out from a dark mist. "Hey kids!" Skoll said and pounced the ground, wagging his tail. "Skoll!" Kasumi and Kei yelped and ran at the god who hearded the sun, both of them tacked into him and Skoll flopped himself to the side and acted like they had actually knocked him over. Hati walked up to Candra, looking her over. "You seem to be healing nicely" He said and looked to Ryu. But she wasnt at her top strength yet...something was holding her back. Hati knew it was going to be very hard for Ryuten to completely break his ties with everything outside his family... The white wolf walked over to Ryuten and sat. "How are you doing?" He asked and looked up at the sky with Ryu

Ryu let out a small sigh. Now that the twins were eating, his job was more or less done. He walked away from the kill and titled his gaze up towards the sun. Everything was perfect. The weather, the herds, everything. IT didn't feel right. Sure, Ryu enjoyed the scenery. He was also happy that Candra was getting better. However, he longed to return to his own world, his home.

Candra shifted, letting the buffalo fall to the ground with a thud. Kei and Kasumi's eyes widened as they both trotted over and circled the buffalo sniffing at it. The found the area Candra had started at and started to rip a few pieces of meat before beginning to wolf down what they could. Candra's ears perked and she scanned the field for Ryukai. He emerged from behind a large rock, hearing her looking for her and walked up, nuzzling Candra neck like one of the twins would before going to the kill and helping himself.

Ryu nodded slightly. He was flying beside her, his eyes scanning her over to make sure that she was ok. When they got back to the camp, Ryu called the twins to come over. They'd be shocked to see such a heavy beast served as their dinner. "Alright kids eat up. You'd better hurry too before your mom gets hungry again." Ryu chuckled softly. His eyes shifted to the side. He couldn't see Ryukai anywhere, but he assumed that he had to be close by.

"I'm fine, strong as a horse" she chuckled. she didnt seem fazed as the heavy beast was placed on her back. She started to walk, taking it easy as Ryu requested. "The twins never had buffalo before, this is going to be a real treat for them" Candra said happily, her tail wagging at the thought of their faces when they try the meat

"Are you sure you can handle that??" Ryu blinked twice as he pushed himself off from the tree. He didn't want to place the animal on her back and have her pass out underneath it. "If you're sure..." he mumbled as dark tendrils rose up from the ground lifting the buffalo onto Candra's back. To make sure it didn't fall, he strapped it to her by using the tendrils. "Just take it easy. Let me know if you need me to take it off ok?"

The moment Ryu gave her thumbs up on eating she tore into the buffalo's side, blood staining her muzzle as she dig past its hide and into its flesh and tore the meat, gulping it down. Her tail wagged as he asked if it tasted good, signaling the answer was a definite yes. She didnt want to pause to even answer. Once she was done, a good chunk of the buffalos side was gone. Candra licked what she could from her muzzle and shook out her fur happily. She fazed into a larger wolf form. "Go ahead and load it up, I can carry it back" She said, now looking down at him
